Thanks for sharing. There's so much here I want to do as well. While I don't play, I've always thought dioramas look like a fun hobby I could and should try. I've finally made the big step; printed a few buildings and ordered some paint and brushes. Can't wait to get started, and am already on the hunt for new buildings!
Cool. Just go for it. I learned a lot from watching tutorials and reading up on stuff. Allways use less paint than you think, you can allways do anothet pass. 😀
WOW, I love this board. This is something I am currently working on designing myself and to see other examples is humbling. The foam underneath floor plates was so nicely done. From the preview, I thought everything was 3D printed at those heights.
Nice build. I enjoyed watching it come together. Creating maps with both sides balanced mechanically must be difficult to plan. A long plain with woods on both sides and a central feature is easy to balance. A city seems like it takes more planning. I do like the port section with the two choke points.
Oil washes would work a treat with all that detail. The capillary action you get from oils is far easier to get natural tones and blends than acrylics. Have you played around with oil washes? You won't regret it!

Fantastic video. Your work is inspiring for sure. Thanks for the tips and guidance as always.
