I watch you guys and it reminds me of my Dad who passed in 2020. He was stationed in Nome during his Army days back in the early 1950"s. He loved being there and had many stories. My wife and I visited Alaska for the first time in 2022. I saw the beauty in his stories come alive. Thank you for your glorious videos depicting the majestic landscape that is Alaska!

Your lucky the Wolfs did not come up on the steps of the Cabin for desert, I have seen wolfs in very remote parts of Alaska over many years and they are very capable of doing almost anything believe me they were just trying to trick you into come down the trail to pet them. Your recording and video is so born chilling it brings back memory of being in a Tent in the brooks range in the winter and have them circle your tent. With all the Caribou close by your camp they have been well fed. Up in the Interior were you live is getting close to real Alaska.

My high school wood shop teacher in 1968 "Harry Owen" surveyed Alaska as his prior job. He did it solo for months at a time. The people he seldom ran in to and the stories about them were incredible. Looking at that country, I can't imagine it. Though in my youth I probably would have enjoyed it.

This was a great one . I am continually amazed by you all’s apparent immunity to the cold ! That fishing trip , seven hours , was numbing all the way to here in Tennessee !🥶 Fishing is my passion but I honestly feel like wilderness ice fishing is not in my definition of enjoyable. I am now 76 years old . Duck hunting was the tops for me til the subcutaneous fat began to “age away”. When I gave that up I gave up any possibility of joining in on such a trip . I realize that one becomes tempered to the cold . God has blessed you both in that regard. Too bad that Caribou were not in season . You were right there amongst them . The wolves don’t have to honor our game laws . Good to know that there are still places where “ the call of the wild “ is still ringing loud and clear ! This was a 5 out of 5 ! 763k subscribers says it all, congrats. That howling was kind of scary, they`re hungry and they`re teaming up and comunicating with each other. We can put you guys in the middle of nowhere and you always make the best of it, and are eating like kings, that was a large trout, 2 nice meals out of it, those fish sandwiches with your homemade pickles looked fabulous, and of course Areil whipped up a no bake cheese cake with very few items on hand and it looked spectacular. You guys are my favorite, just killing every video, we love em, have a great New Year, we cant wait to see whats in store for 2024, all the best from Michigan.
Thank you for sharing your interesting winter adventure. Howl of wolves in the middle of night, just a short distance away from cabin was so awesome. Eric' s invitation to everyone to leave your outhouse door open when there is a beautiful scenery outside, clicked me an interesting, but horrifying story which happened in Northwestern Ontario not too many years ago. A Winnipeg fisherman, on a fishing trip adventure for the same reason left his outhouse door open ; and then in the middle of doing his business was grabbed by a huge black bear and dragged to the nearby forest. His cry for help, and a friend running to him, with a gun, saved his life. This story is on line and you can check it out. So when you leave the door open, enjoying the scenery never forget to bring your loaded gun along.😀

This was a great one . I am continually amazed by you all’s apparent immunity to the cold ! That fishing trip , seven hours , was numbing all the way to here in Tennessee !🥶
Fishing is my passion but I honestly feel like wilderness ice fishing is not in my definition of enjoyable.
I am now 76 years old . Duck hunting was the tops for me til the subcutaneous fat began to “age away”. When I gave that up I gave up any possibility of joining in on such a trip .
I realize that one becomes tempered to the cold . God has blessed you both in that regard.
Too bad that Caribou were not in season . You were right there amongst them . The wolves don’t have to honor our game laws . Good to know that there are still places where “ the call of the wild “ is still ringing loud and clear !

763k subscribers says it all, congrats. That howling was kind of scary, they`re hungry and they`re teaming up and comunicating with each other. We can put you guys in the middle of nowhere and you always make the best of it, and are eating like kings, that was a large trout, 2 nice meals out of it, those fish sandwiches with your homemade pickles looked fabulous, and of course Areil whipped up a no bake cheese cake with very few items on hand and it looked spectacular. You guys are my favorite, just killing every video, we love em, have a great New Year, we cant wait to see whats in store for 2024, all the best from Michigan.
Thank you for sharing your interesting winter adventure. Howl of wolves in the middle of night, just a short distance away from cabin was so awesome. Eric' s invitation to everyone to leave your outhouse door open when there is a beautiful scenery outside, clicked me an interesting, but horrifying story which happened in Northwestern Ontario not too many years ago. A Winnipeg fisherman, on a fishing trip adventure for the same reason left his outhouse door open ; and then in the middle of doing his business was grabbed by a huge black bear and dragged to the nearby forest. His cry for help, and a friend running to him, with a gun, saved his life. This story is on line and you can check it out. So when you leave the door open, enjoying the scenery never forget to bring your loaded gun along.😀
