The older I get, the duller and drier my hair is. It’s fragile and it’s also thinner (there’s both less of it and the strands are finer). (NB: I only wash my hair with conditioner, and only every two weeks, and I NEVER use heat styling on it! If you wash more often with detergent and use heat styling tools, your hair will look MUCH worse than mine.) So young people, you’ve been warned: your hair will become fragile, susceptible to breakage, thinner, and a LOT less pretty as you age. You’ll no longer be able to go a year between trims; if you do, you’ll find yourself with LOTS of dry, damaged-looking hair and will need to cut *more* of it off than you used to. This leads to the ultimate conclusion: if you want beautiful, healthy hair until the day you die, then die young. 😞
