I admit that I played around with the edits... especially the new text animation where it slides from right to left. It's too fun and yeah it's a short clip as title say.

Instead of Belmond maybe you can use a nickname like Bangiras temporarily until you can find a proper one?
Honestly I would say apply and see what happens. You may get nervous but once its done its done and you may get something out of it (hell those 2 and 3H translations are a great repertoire imo).
They never said they would get only one person since there's around 100 members and 2 years worth of content (depending on how they wanna do stuff, but hell if they decide to tackle the ARK series Kuzuha only did daily streams of 11H, one person only won't be able to handle it).
As for learning Japanese I would recommend people the "Learning Japanese from Zero" from YesJapan. They also have a website with the same content (some of it locked behind monthly subscriptions) and even teaching videos. It's really good for self learning and speaking from experience I found it really easy with just the book and was able to learn Hiragana and some basic stuff in a month... before forgetting it all due to lack of practice since I got busy with other stuff.
Now's a great time to get back to it.
@@Penmorex duolingo is nice to keep the vocabulary fresh, but there are channels on youtube with lots of videos on japanese. There is a guy called Kira who made some nice videos to help self-learners with the minna no nihongo book, but it's in spanish, i'm sure there are a few people who do something similar in english.
Another good book for beginners is Genki, but it will only get you so far.
Show Nijisanji the 2h and 3h videos you translated for fun and they'll surely be surprised by it

I used to be an english to spanish translator in a scans group and man, it used to trouble me the fact that i was able to translate 19 pages in 30 to 90 minutes depending on the amount of dialogue, while others would take about 4 hours. That's until i started learning japanese and with my utterly basic level it takes me a while, and if it's written japanese, it's almost like deciphering hieroglyphs when kanjis i don't know start popping up.

I could seriously see you as an official translator. I don't know how much time you spend on these but you seem much more efficient than other translators ! Do want you think is the best for you man :D
This took half 5 hours with all the edits, check, translation and the upload. Only when I have mood to do it. The 3 hours one took weeks due to myself not having the mood to do it sometimes. Other issues would be my editing software crashing and losing progress

People would say 24 minutes of anime episode is short, why not 12 minutes? Well for myself I consider it short as I am a greedy person.(I always go and watch long streams)

What program do you use to edit? I'm thinking I might want to do videos for my favorite youtuber too.
Since i am just a beginner, I am using filmora as it have plenty of preset effects. However, there's quite a few problems like crashes if the comp is not powerful enough. I am working with a laptop so...(experienced many work loss due to that
Thus, I am not sure if it's really a good idea to recommend it. Good luck tho

I never play gta 5 (only the older games like SA, VC) but why every single peds wanna try to hit her.
IIRC, you can agro peds in GTA 5 just by standing too long near them. Pray to god that ped isn't armed.
