I don't think that Sidious was simply revealing his true character. I believe that he was ratting on the entire Republic. Sifo Dyas had to keep his ability to see the future a secret from the Jedi for fear of persecution. The fact that he even has to do that reveals that even though the Jedi are depicted as the good guys, they are capable of causing unnecessary grief among themselves and not just the public when they're fighting the "phantom menace". I think that Sidious is tapping into that harsh wisdom that the Dark Side has to offer.
Yoda and the rest of the Jedi counsel couldn’t sense what was going on. Their pride/overwhelming trust in their abilities/connection to the force led them to believe if anything was really going, they’d know. Nothing else had any weight or bearing, as they believed they were the ones who had the best relationships to the force, therefore the force should tell them when trouble’s a brewin’. How come Yoda and the Jedi couldn’t detect all this dark side stuff happening this whole time? Well, the dark side of the force was clouded, so they couldn’t see it. What was clouding it?? The dark side of the force.

You know this is slightly off topic of Vader, but I've often wondered if everything Star Wars in the galaxy far far away is actually true history, and when George Lukus created Star Wars he was actually recounting the history of his alien galaxy from a distant past life as one of his Star Wars characters. While creating Star Wars as a story he could have decided to present it as a fictional story to a world that would never take him seriously, thus think that " he was crazy" if he told the world that he was a distant reincarnation of one his Star Wars Characters from a past life eons ago. This would explain how there is so much depth and detail he brought into the whole Star Wars Saga/mythos.

The problem is that Anakin was an arrogant fool. He started to believe his own hype that he was the Chosen one and therefore he should rule. He started to believe that might equals right well before the confrontation between Sidious and Windu. Anakin wasn't a good guy and even without Sidious he would have eventually fallen. That fact is clearest when he rages in front of the council about not being given the rank of Jedi Master. He tells them all that he is the strongest despite the fact that Yoda is sitting there before him and is in fact quite a bit stronger than Anakin at this point. Sidious didn't cause Anakin's fall he merely sped events up so that it would happen sooner so that he could take advantage of his power. Sidious never planned on sharing the rule with Vader nor did he plan on Vader ever being allowed to take his place.

Palpatine probably had all manners of anti-tampering countermeasures that would likely kill Vader if he tried modifying the suit in any way that could possibly counter or mitigate Force Lightning the moment he tried to modify it. Palpatine did offer him a better suit to Vader once but Vader didn't think he'd survive being put in it. I say even if he did, who knows what kind of vulnerabilities and booby traps Palpatine put in any new suit of Vader's?

I truly wonder why Disney didn't hire the comic writers and the writers from the clone war series for the movies! Each scene in the comics has purpose and well thought out ideas that flow so we'll with the lore. Then you get episodes 7-9 and they are just a slapped together mess.

Palpatine probably had all manners of anti-tampering countermeasures that would likely kill Vader if he tried modifying the suit in any way that could possibly counter or mitigate Force Lightning the moment he tried to modify it.
Palpatine did offer him a better suit to Vader once but Vader didn't think he'd survive being put in it. I say even if he did, who knows what kind of vulnerabilities and booby traps Palpatine put in any new suit of Vader's?
So I’m curious I can’t find an answer to how Darth Vader maintained consciousness after death? Did he follow the same path of Qui Gon or Obi Wan and Yoda ???

I truly wonder why Disney didn't hire the comic writers and the writers from the clone war series for the movies! Each scene in the comics has purpose and well thought out ideas that flow so we'll with the lore. Then you get episodes 7-9 and they are just a slapped together mess.
why doesn’t Vader get close enough to palp then point his light saber at him then turning it on killing palp Ino if Vader thinks about doing that then palp will know through the force so Vader should think of killing obi wan then doing it fast like in the old force unleashed where in the sith version starkiller and luke kill palp in a pretend fight close to him and in the old Star Wars movies when Luke and Vader fight in the scene where palp has Luke’s lightsaber they are so close to palp and could easily of killed him if they worked together and pretend to fight

it just showed his true outlook on life and his path , he thought it was all lies meaning at some point he was lied to many times in a series of nothing but dissapointments as he tried things at first to succeed when he was young and in his view he really believes that after finding out the truths behind so many things so many stories of history as a historian himself he came to the ultimate conclusion as many do that everyone lies and has secrets built on secrets built on lies of lies of lies and so on and that shaped his morality and he wanted it to shape vaders like really vader everyone lies to get what they want duhh of course i did it duh do i regret it no do you regret it who cares just do it vader and get a clue so we can move on he is evil and has lost his morality completely all he cares about is himself
