One of my old stomping grounds. Great vid.
lol. I do miss my trout fishing. Once I finish my stint in Darwin, I’ll be moving back to Adelaide hopefully one day I can take you trout fishing.
The lemon orchards are a dead give away lol. Good spot though, gets even better a few kms upstream but all PP.
LOL. However, there are some nice deep holes which are accessible to the public.
Man listen to the birds beautiful away from the busy life
Certainly one of my favourite places around there because of its wildlife.
Hey luke! do you mind if I could get your email? I have a question about this creek and which what flies I should use there. I do not want to ask the question about this creek on youtube because then everyone will know what this creek is called, Thanks!

Thank you very much!😀@@Luke.Nugent1967
How did you get to the creek? Most of the land around it is private property!
There is a walking track up to the ford, then follow the creek. Luckily for me I saw one the property owners who was kind enough to tell me about the creek and I got permission from him.
@@Luke.Nugent1967 That's awesome! I have a friend who lives on the stream so that's how I get my access
Nice fishing vlog! Enjoy fishing!
Nice video 👍 looked like a awesome day. Amazing underwater shot at the end 👌🎣
Cheers mate. It was a good day
Nice job👌
Cheers mate.
Always wonder how they survive once the creeks all dry up they must go somewhere specialo or do they just die? And just come back in Winter by breeding again.
Normally they swim in search of deeper pools and you are correct as they do breed in winter.
Mind sharing your fly setup? I’m fishing the same streams and I can’t figure what the like
Hi mate. I am using a 5 weight set up with a euro nymph leader and a single nymph.
Thanks mate . I got my first strike today with a Green caddis nymph. I had to add a little split shot to get it down to the feeding zone and bouncing off the bottom. Thanks for the feedback
@@limpingcow that’s good to hear that the stream was still fishing fine. No trout fishing for me for a while as I just moved to Darwin.
Any chance on the location or a hint or any other locations in the hills with them been trying to catch my first
Start on the Torrens and Sturt rivers and the creeks that flow into them. They were my starting points.
@@Luke.Nugent1967 thanks
Sturt river/creek has no fish these days unfortunately
Really. That’s not good. I wonder if it’s the water quality or quantity. ☹️
