    Hi Mr.Medet
    Another good workout for the Bafang motor.
    You did all the work yourself right ?.
    Can i ask did you need special tools to get the original Pedal shaft out and then take measurement to make sure the motor was gonna fit.
    Last question is what response if any from Police if your Buzzing about doing more speed than a standard bike or maybe they dont hassle you

      Hi Peter. You would need a bottom bracket remover yes, you can find it easily online. I have seen police stopping riders and pulling them over but my bike is restricted to 15mph only for video purposes i de restrict. Its only Bike at the end of the day..

    I have the same set-up. It's very fun but my legs end up whizzing around a bit fast... what front chainring size did you go for? I have a 35 mile round trip commute and can do it on one charge... my battery is the same 48V 17.5Ahr so 40 mile range sounds right.

      Ive got the 44t. Yeah should be something like that if you’re sensible.

      You can find it on Ali express or Alibaba. Im not sure too sure of the prices but its most likely in the region of £400-600.

    Is the motor still doing well? Are you still using it to commute t ok work? Just ordered one instead of a hub motor as I live in a hilly area

      Ive sold it tbh, motor was going strong. Poa, don’t leave it outside in the rain uncovered.

      Ive had my bbso2 750w 17.5amp trek marlin 7 2015 bike for nearly a year and its going stromng but wished i used a newer bike or a better one. I rarely go over 380 watts and gets me 70 to 75mile range under 10 degrees weather, 65 miles in rain and cold and in the british autumn and summer gets me up to 90 miles per charge if put on lvl 2 out of 5 which is under 380 watts. good luck with your bafang and look after it, purchase muc off hcb1 spray to protect electrical and moving parts and always equip a spare ebike chain. depend of how much you use the bike atleast once a month deep clean your drivetrain\cassette and lube it.

    I'm not looking for _ludicrous speed_ cause then I'd have to get a driver's license (per Hungarian law)... so what's the durability of this thing?

      It is strong, ive put it into harsh conditions but as long you clean it and be mindful of how you set your gears whilst using the bafang bbso2. its not fast but it is durable but battery depends.

    I recognize this place. It's in Dallas, Texas.
    You shouldn't be riding on the wrong side of the road. Even though I do it too hahaha

    Does going up that hill suck up the battery ?

    • @Bosphorus2BigBen
      @Bosphorus2BigBen  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends what level you keep it at.. the higher assist level, the more it uses battery power.
