The ship that you dubbed a type of transport is the Apollo. Compare the nacelles from previous concept art images, where sensor booms are, and addition sections jutting out, along with its turret style and location and it's very clear that it's the Apollo. The MISC "heavier mining than the Prospector" is the MISC Fortune (an intermediate salvage vessel). CIG name dropped this during CitCon and it's already expected to show up at IAE, but wasn't teased last year.
@@B.D.E. I mean, medical gameplay works for the most part. You might want to instead make that argument about all the explorer type ships they sell, with zero exploration mechanics implemented. Or any of the bounty hunting ships, when bounty hunting as a job type is still in its infancy
@@B.D.E. Also, there are two base building ships in this video and at least one base building vehicle. If this whole complaint is going to be made about medical gameplay, you may as well also complain that we don't yet have any base building, even though it's coming in 4.0
4:18 is CLEARLY a Drake ship, but not only that, I bet almost all my money that that ship is lying on it's back here. It'll be a forward facing ship like one of the Fett's ships from Star Wars. I'm 1,000% convinced of this.
I'm not so sure the ship at the 2:45 mark isn't the Guardian, possibly a different variant than the one from the previous new ship teaser. The previous teaser had the Guardian in flight mode while this one is in landed mode. If the Guardian basically does the opposite of what the Fury does and those 'wings' are relatively thin plates that we're just seeing from their largest dimension they could slide underneath and over top of the pilot area with the cutout where the person is standing now providing a vertical view below from the pilot seat. It's very hard to tell though, and it could be a different ship.
To add to this, I suspect yhat in the first silhouette of the Guardian we saw, its exterior wasn't finished yet. The lines were a little too clean imo. So some of the differences may have come from additional details being added during modeling. Add in the difference between a side on and a 3/4 view, and I'm pretty confident it's the Guardian. But, I'm ready to be wrong!
I would also say that it is the Guardian, only shown more frontally and with a longer focal length, which is why the long wings are somewhat compressed.
There should be flying saucers in the game. They are basic, and logical designs, allowing for easy customization, and swapping of components and subsystems. If you don't understand aerodynamics, it should just be a circle. The cockpit would be in the center, so you can drive horizontally, or vertically, with good visibility. The interior could be a honeycomb structure of compartmentalized rooms, or just a wide open room. Otherwise, they should be aerodynamic, because there are gas clouds in space, and that is where rescources would be.
2:49, the ship seems to be the Mirai Guardian. 3:35 is the Crusader Intrepid, very likely a starter/solo ship from Crusader. Both are going to be release before year end. 5:15 I am confident it will be the Apollo Medivac.
I agree about the Apollo, but I think the guardian is a totally different size. The ship at 3:35 is nothing we’ve seen before, I believe. Notice the position of the lights. It appears to have a very rectangular footprint with a wide, flat, front. My guess is some sort of transport ship or maybe base building, since that seems to be the theme for next year. There’s also no other overlap from last years silhouette video, which makes me think they don’t want to repeat ships in these.
The second vehicle is a Greycat rover of some kind small turret on top maybe light security vehicle, direct competition to the Ursa? headlights identify design for manufacturer (love my STV). After the drake medium size with the tall wings is the Apolo, the wing/engines over the shadow man, the turret on top tells the variant. Following the medical rescue Terrapin I still think that is the guardian, the four wings heavy escort fighter with some alien design like the Fury from Miria. The Crusader Intrepid is supposed to be asymmetrical like the Aries ships, those lights may be placed asymmetrically (they teased a fly through but you cut out when it flew past where the lights may show on the port side at the end of the vid.)and the wings get a better shape definition right as the camera pans away before going to the next ship, it also gives a little more definition at where the exit stairs are and the shadow clutter under the 'nose' could be ground clutter just like the items that cover up the back wingtips.
1:38 is probably the building version with a yellow container thing on the back for the drones. The picture you showed later from last citizen con reminds me of a mobile base vehicle from command and conquer tiberuim sun
Hyped for perseus. Sad that Galaxy got the BMM bat, but either one is a win for me. Unreasonably excited to see that smaller drake ship though - looks super unique. I think that ship IS the guardian. The other image was from a full year ago, so I reckon it’s just a combo of different angle/visual changes over the development process The one after the mystery drake ship I think is the Apollo, based on the engine layout and size.
@@versegen2 I’m hoping to see the Galaxy, desperately. She’s gonna be the industrial core of my fleet and even though I’d be more than happy for her to ship with just the cargo module I fear that they’re holding her back until refining/crafting is in the game, so they don’t have to redesign the ship to account for new gameplay
@@B.D.E. I’d hope to see it before 1.0, but yeah - not gonna hold my breath to see the industry dorito. I’ll simply have to wipe my tears with my size 10 torpedoes and size 7 ballistic cannon rounds
I was convinced that the ship at 2:43 was the Mirai Guardian, but now these both seem to be different scales. Maybe a small light or medium fighter from Mirai?
4:17 i think is going to be Consolidated Outland, that landing suction cup is too weird, and the wings remind me of the mustang series. at 5:10 i think this may be a bomber. You can see the downward facing cockpit in the front i believe....
Yeah for sure that dubbed transport ship is the apollo the medivac version I believe and if you look at its got Rsi vibes like the mantis. Gotta remember rsi wasnt always the dorito company.
I almost thought we might get the Ironside with 4.0 given the ship is PERFECT for Pyro but either way great to see it is coming soon. Also really excited by the Pioneer update. After they talked about the changes I was even more excited than I was when I first bought it.
2:34 likely the interdictor variant of the Guardian that was leaked 3:07 not like a prospector at all, there is a cargo elevator, so no ore bags, so not a mining ship 5:16 that's the apollo, if you look on the left that's the cockpit shape of the apollo, and the thrusturs quite far from the body look exactly like that
the one before the star lancer kinda gives me a medium size ship from anvil like bigger then the pisces but smaller then the carrack. come to think of it wasn't there supposable a ship that was from anvil that was supposed to be a competitor for the freelancer and the conni coming out at some point? i could be wrong more then likly am it just gives me that vive looking at it.
Thanks for the video! 👍 I have a question to the first vehicle: Do you really think, that you can fit 16(!) SCU of building material inside? The same size cargo variant of that vehicle can only load 4 SCU on it.
Are those AT tyres, or tracks on the APC looking vehicle? There's zero light coming in underneath, to define wheels, like there is on the Atlas based vehicle.
I really want that ship to be the Apollo but.. I believe it's a variant or modular version they will make and say "we had to make this one before working on the galaxy" 😅
Are we sure those are wheels on the second one? Feels tracked to me but it's obviously hard to see. Have they ever done a tracked vehicle? I'm not big on the vehicle side.
the ship at 2:50 could it be a mk5 Constellation. I know folks will say look at the person and its not big enough to the Connie Also look very closely at the front. BTW were looking at the rear of the ship in this photo, of the new Connie. It also matches the sketch work datamined from pipeline could this not be a Connie?. 5:20 is the Apollo Medivac
In the teaser last year, the Intrepid shown had clear "Crusader style"' VTOL thrusters sticking out on the side of the silhouette. Wich this one has not, so it's likely something else.

They should probably fix medical gameplay if they want to sell a medical ship then.
