In regards to the Guardian: Iirc, citcon specifically mentioned the Guardian as locked in to be arriving at IAE. That and the Intrepid, with the Legionairre being the "odd man out" that won't make it for citcon. Also worth mentioning, the original Guardian concept had two humans outside the ship. The new one just has one. CIG sometimes uses the crew count, or what's around the crew, to signify use case and crew count, IE the medipin having a dude with a gourney outside. My theory is that the original pitch for the Guardian, assuming that the theory that it's a Vanguard competitor is true, is that the original concept had a pilot and a second crewmember (possibly a gunner, possibly an engineer), but they couldn't figure out how to get a turret to fit cleanly on the ship, and didn't want to risk an "Antares" incident for the second person again, making it a boring ship to multi-crew. So, reconcepting began. Imo, the new Guardian silhouette looks distinctly smaller than the old one, but that might just be my poor depth perception. The leaked metrics actually put it pretty close to the F8 instead of the VG in size, but also confirm it will have an interior of some type. The second crew member idea got dropped, making it a dedicated solo ship. And then the standard CIG concept manipulation came in, changing the smoothness of it (which I'm actually glad they did lol, love that more angular look) into what we saw now. I think it's extremely likely that silhouette is indeed the Guardian, if only just because of them confirming we're getting the Guardian at IAE.
I think you might be right. The only thing that still makes me doubt is that if this is true, they put the guardian silhouette twice without ever revealing it and that would be very weird. The Intrepid has slightly changed too and neither it nor the Polaris are featured in the new silhouettes but are all set to release before the end of the year just like the guardian. In my opinion, it would be the wrong choice to be inconsistent and show 2 silhouettes of the Guardian just because it's changed in the background. And if they did show it twice, I would have at least done the exact same camera angle as the first picture to showcase the differences and draw a parallel. But I guess the only way to know for sure is to wait until the release of the Guardian.
@@imactuallyHimtho The only reason would be if they consider it necessary due to it having a redesign behind the scenes. But it would be very strange regardless.

The Fatterpillar and Angry Fatterpillar both cannot be flown without the command module, but it can still detach. You can use them like personal storage or command bases, especially in the case of the Angry Fatterpillar. You park it somewhere, and it's essentially an armoured and fully gunned command post. You can leave it there to do repairs on ground vehicles while using the command module to go do stuff if you need to.
Hey for the one that you said might be a Intrepid stealth variant, I think people are looking at the shape completely wrong. The vehicle is pointed twords us and the two lights are the headlights. The cockpit window is inbetween the lights and the ship is roughly a rectangular shape with 4 sets of landing gear, the shadow to the right of the visible gear is the other landing pad. With the flat rear it either carries containers or is designed to fit some containers perfectly to the rear of the ship.
I bet the Drake thing is a add-on to the command module to make it into a full stand alone ship. They said you'd be able to fly it around but it will be very short range and probably won't have a quantum drive
The Drake command module has a quantum drive (S1), it is specified in the ironclad data sheets. But i like the idea of a "module" to make the command module its own ship, kinda like the hyperdrive docking ring for the starfighters in star wars.
High quality content indeed. You and theangriestgamer are the only two I have seen 2d modeling and rendering ships on your own to improve video quality and he isn't making SC content atm.
Love the content. My only thing we differ is about the Starlancer BLD and that not being the variant in the silhouette with ur reason being basebuilding not being to that level. That's all contradicted by the Poineer being up there. There would be no reason to build the Poineer if basebuilding wasn't coming or at least planned for that time frame. So it would make sense that the build would be that Starlancer BLD could be a possibility! Either way, I'm here for the ride! Love ur content bro, keep up the work man! It's impressive stuff
They mentioned tier 0 basebuilding and monster hunting would be coming within the first few months of 2025 -- or whatever the late Q1/early Q2 patch is. Monster hunting tier 0 already works right now in the internal builds according to Zac, so they just need to get it tuned up some more for a first pass live release. No idea what's going to be required for tier 0 basebuilding, but basically it just needs a decent UI for RaStar, and some of the crafting mechanics. All of that is basic logistical meta data, attaching entities to blueprints (and since blueprints aren't physicalised, it makes it way easier to build out). But I'm curious how much of crafting will come with tier 0 basebuilding?
One argument for it not being the Max version is that it looks like front dorsal turret may be set higher than it is on the Max, giving it a more 360 degree field of fire. Of course, this could be due to perspective throwing things off.
@@geekedstoner4209 well they already said that the Pioneer won't come with Tier 0, just that stey start working on it this year. But still, only the Max has those headlights, not the BLD. Very cool. Haven't seen anyone go to this much work to figure these out. Just a quick note on the "gaurdian" the old silhouette shows it hovering without landing gear and the newer silhouette it has landing gear. I think it's a completly different ship.
The second vehicle is the Greycat CAV like you suspect. It's a tracked vehicle with, I believe, a missile rack with size 5 missiles and turret with 2 s1 laser repeaters. You can tell it's a Greycat by the lights. And yes, the salvage variant of the Prospector is the Fortune, as revealed by datamining. Great work on all of this and I love the overlays.
The chunky ground vehicle is definitely Greycat, with the outline-type headlamps. It has tracks but no track guards implying that its role is all-terrain but not combat-focused. However it has dual Bulldogs on top so can still pack a punch. Ursa-like is definitely a good call. The windshield bars kinda remind me of anti-riot vehicles. The angled panel at the back is human-sized so could be a suit locker or even a detainment pod.
2:00 the track wheels suggest military capability or at least some kind of rugged, all terrain approach. The shape language has me excited. Great video! Love the intention and execution
So it is true after all... The German's really are born with that sense of attention to detail! No wonder they are so good at inventing thing's and are great engineer's too
To the salvage Prospector: I have a feeling they are release variants of old ships like the Sabre Raven -> Firebird, Peregrine and Terrapin -> Medical Variant to pay for the gold rework of the old variants. That would explain why we get a Salvage Variant for an old ship like the Prospector. About the Flat *not* Intrepid I very much doubt that it's a Crusader Ship at all. The front light are very far apart, which doesn't fit the usual narrow Crusader noses.
I think the Atlas silhouette is the base builder parked at an angle such that the back end is angled directly away from us and thus blocked behind the front of the chassis
1. New CSV is the FM from the basebuilding panels. 2. Greycat CAV's silhouette looks like a HEMTT truck. 3. New Atlas platform truck can be seen in the background of some of the new art from CitCon
"Shortsair": My money is on it being a deep vein miner, with that fat foot being a combo landing gear/extraction head like what they teased for the Pioneer at CitCon. Greycat CAV: Given the info that's cropped up in EVO game files, I'm tempted to say that this might be a deployable vehicle that deploys anchors like the Ballista. The files hinted at an AA pod that goes on it, and given their previously stated intentions to start spawning AA vehicles at ground based missions once AI driving is solid enough, it would make sense to have a smaller, less overpowering cousin to the Ballista for lower threat missions and enemy variety. Also, I feel like it would also make a neat little fracking truck, basically the deep vein mining equivalent of the ROC.
Awesome work, well done ! On the « Guardian » looking one, I think it looks more like another version, because of the guardian having no landing gear (c.f. The citcon 2023, all the other ships have landing gear except this one, and the fury don’t have any landing gear too) And also the arms on the guardian looks very straight with not a lot shapes as the one they showed looked more free form with those crab like claws. For the Misc fortune, I think it is the one that looks like the intrepid. I do not remember where I ve seen it but I saw a leak of it that was blurred and it was the shape of this one. Plus, it is rumored that the fortune is a between the vulture and reclaimer and from the side of it it could fit in that category compared to the prospector looking one. Also, it may just be back ground, but close to the nose of the intrepid looking, there seems to be a salvage arm. On the prospector looking one, I have no idea, but Argo seems quite odd, because their design is verse squary, and it’s quite strange that the front is such a bubble but the rear looks like an Argo. On a side note, I don’t see why they would re tease ships from last year, otherwise they would have also put the legionnaire has it has taken a bit more time to complete. So in the end, I don’t think it is either the guardian or intrepid or any of the last year teaser (not talking about years long concepts - pionneer, Perseus Apollo)
Amazing video. Of the three mystery silhouettes. 1. My friends have this as the intrepid 2. The misc fortune. It's a prospector sized salvage ship. Leaks have some details on features there. 3. The Drake ship is one of the concept designs for the Drake cutter. If you look at the jump point publication for that time period, this design is featured there
On the Ironclad, I'm not really surprised. I mean, yes it would be nice if they would for once work on older ships, but I kind of had a feeling it was coming very soon because it is a very nearly perfect ship for Pyro. So much so that I almost thought they were going to do a surprise drop of the IC alongside the opening of Pyro. That may still happen I guess, but either way it makes total sense.
Well done! Seems you put a lot of work in this and it shows!

Oh wow, that is a gold mine, thank you so much!
Good job! Love your video
The Mirai shaped ship from this year is much smaller compared to the fat fury. One is the heavy fighter, the new one is the mid fighter
Awesome !!! Like everytime! 😎👌🏾
