There are things in there I have never seen before in 25 years listening to gypsy jazz. Excellent!
Incredible repertoire of techniques. Arpeggios, scales, harmonics, vibratos, tremolos, counterpoint, rhythm, etc, etc...
After 40 years of playing guitar...this makes me want to smash it to bits and take up the triangle
Then you probably should. This is inspiration for me!
I hear you ,i also many years, but when u this kinda of excellence, damn it thro it all out! Hah
kkkkk...I ate my guittar...kkkk
No need to get frustrated. We all lack somewhere. Even Joscho does XD. Do it your way.
Non.persévérer ça finis.par.paye
Wunderbar.
Mesmerizing! Joscho's interpretation of the song with a labyrinth of embellishments is just out of this world!
When techique, speed and musicality meet you get Joscho...as always outstanding !!!
Watching his evolution over these years has been inspirational on a very personal level. Joscho is one of the greats already, and he's just getting started.
True but personally I think his original recording of this tune had more raw passion and intuitive musicality.
Joscho is a quality artist. He sculps the melody, twisting and bending it to achieve a unique product.
I'm completely delighted! Just discovered Joscho Stephan! Amazing!
one of the best guitar virtuosos I've seen!
Holy shit dude!!! Wow!!! That was INCREDIBLE. This is the BEST version I've seen of this song. Forget The Yngwie's, Joshco is The Paganini of the Guitar. Unbelievable technique, clarity, timing, phrasing. EVERYTHING!!! Thx for this.
How does anybody become this great? I could practice 1000 hours a week and never even come close. He was blessed.
you could try and start with 40 hours a week, have you ever tried it? if you dont succeed in making big improvements after then, give it up
there a few videos of Joscho talking about how and what he practices on youtube, the rest is up to you.
If there is such a thing as talent it's the talent to have the discipline and dedication to put the time in.
Work
@@axeman2638 Exactly. The term "talent" is nicely described in Bukowski's poem "Don't do it" - the aspiration toward something that bursts out of you naturally and without your special will or control. If it doesen't - don't do it. Do something else, anything else... But if it does - never neglect it. Cheers! 😁
It’s GOD giving
Bravo this guy is special!!!
Wahnsinn Joscho, King of Gipsy Jazz, ganz ganz toll, baut mich total auf, danke
Magnifiques accords quel plaisir. ...
One of the best guitar player in the world.
Beautiful soulful composition in tribute to Django! (And thank you for that original video of Bossa Dorado. Beyond being an intensely inspirational introduction to gypsy jazz, it was my go-to song when the espresso bar was closed and I needed a quick pick-me-up in the late afternoon.
Both tunes but parts of the second make me melt away. Beautiful.
an amazing player - and he makes that guitar sounds out of this world....love this, thanks for posting...
God bless the big man!
Joscho is the chosen one....way ahead of the game...
Ive never seen a player with such skill, and musicality 😲😲😲 my jaw has literally smashed off the floor
i know - i just met him - video uploaded
lol, then you dont know anything, just naming a few jimmy rosenberg, birelli lagrene, george benson, paco de lucia, frank gambale, and the list goes on for a long time but these are less than 1/1000% of guitar players
Try "Choreco" of the great brazilian Yamandu Costa
@@einemailadressenbesitzerei8816 he's up there with them

Makes my day joscho Stephan Bossa Dorado ❣️
Guys voice at 0:07: "It's one of my favorite songs." Damn right.
700,000 clicks, 600,999 were mine, I don't know who did the other one. Just love it, thank you Joscho!
That would make 601,000 ;)
This Man is a God Of Gypsy Jazz
He is truly great.
The only thing he lacks is a true gypsy attitude. But that’s probably the same reason why his technique and repertoire is so damn good.
Wow, I am speechless....

I love it Joscho!!!!
Excellent version, and he makes it look effortless. What a talent.
.
.
.....majestuoso.....
.
Joscho is the virtuoso of guitar virtuosos.
The lick from 8:23 sounds like quote from some song for me. Does anyone know if it really is? For 4 years i've been coming back to this song and each time I can't help but think that.
Grandissimo joscho 💪

Fantástico 👏👏👏♥️
"-My favorite song." .. Same, my guy. Same.
Un feu d'artifice
Fantastic playing aside, what type of strings do you put on these gypsy guitars?
ver essa musica na velocidade 0,75 é incrível
Un grande!
I found this guitar sound wonderful. Is it a commercially available instrument? Can anyone tell me the name of the manufacturer?
You might as well put the rest of the band behind the curtain if the camera is kept on Joshco, it's like watching a television show from Nashville in the 60's and 70's.
what's nice about joscho is that he is actually a sensitive musician....
Someone knows what guitar is the one that plays Mr. Joscho Stephan?
bravissimo
What’s that kind of arpeggio that he plays at 2:58? And how does he plays it?
I'm not sure what I'm going to write is perfectly correct, but the tecnique is practically a one note per string ascending arpeggio. He is playing the triads of the chord progression, alternating two or three notes on the higher string. Every stroke is a down stroke.
Holy shit !!!!!!!!!~
