Correction at about 7:45 You don't actually have to be proficient in the language, you JUST have to take the test. Even if you get a 0 you still get the 25 promotion points.

if no points are added into HRC how do we add them?
I am having trouble finding that link on the hrc page. Did they get rid of it?
Does the administrative points that we have on our ppw worksheet on IPPS-A gets updated monthly for promotion cutoffs for the next months ahead?
Any advice for me. I'm a PFC trying to excel over my peers, and get promoted faster than everyone else. I am in AIT right now but i don't want to wait until i go to my duty station to begin trying to excel past my pears and become a better leader for the ARMY.

Besides correspondence hours and degrees, is there any other ways that I can get some points on my own?
Look into Army Cool and the Technical Certs you can get. They = points.
Also do you have any 100% online colleges that you would recommend applying for that accept Military TA & FASFA that aren't super expensive ?
I went to Ashford online, great school. There’s also Thomas Edison that’s great too.
Western Governors University. Hands down.
Drill sergeant, on the topic of college credits, is there a cap on how many credits one can receive points for before receiving a degree, for instance, SPC snuffy has 68 college credits. Does this mean he will receive 136 promotion points just from these credits? Or is there a point where the army will cap it off unless a degree is completed, at which point they receive the extra points for degree completion, thank you.
There is. It’s on the PPW sheet. It will tell you there
Right after i click search on the 'enlisted promotions' the PPW link doesnt pop up in the 'Active Component Junior Enlisted Promotions' drop down, is there a reason for this?

Thanks a lot! Just got my P status. You mentioned, that combatives worth some points, but I don't see it on my PPW, who should I address in order to fix it? TIA
New guidance cane down and removed that from PTs. CLS is still with pts tho.
my NCO told me only combatives level 2 and 3 get points
Drill Sargent, I’m enlisting I’m July as a PFC. Would I wear my rank because I did JROTC or do I keep the fuzzy?
Got to speak to your recruiter and what your paperwork says based on enlistment.

Just graduated BLC with distinguished honor grad as well. How long does it normally take for it to go into effect so I can get promoted?
Should be next week after you get certs to S1 and then it will reflect for nexts months cuts for promos

@@HeresTheDrill Awesome thanks! I graduated yesterday and just took my paperwork to S1 today. I was completely caught off guard by the amount of points you actually get for #1 in the class. Also the amount of COAs they gave me. Thanks again for the quick reply.

Not that I know of.

They are not on there no more
How do I find my promotable status?
You can look it up on your PPW, promotion point worksheet at the top.
