I’m currently in the process of cutting scraps into all different angles and sizes. I’m planning on making a queen quilt, but need a lot more scraps. No rules quilting. I use a combination of solids to floral and characters and landscapes, basically all my interests.
Ok first off OMG that little iron is ADORABLE!!!! Second....as far as the muslin goes...how would it be marked at a store like Walmart?? I have tried to find muslin but have no clue on what to exactly look for!! I have been wanting to try making quilts for so long!!
Oh muslin is available almost anywhere. It's just an offwhite inexpensive fabric. You can use any cotton for your backing. I just had muslin so I'm using what I have. The bolts of fabric should say muslin on the end. Ask at any fabric store and they will know what you're looking for. And yes, I love my tiny travel iron. I bought it specifically for quilt piecing.
Hello, did you do a video on improv quilting? Your voice sounds like the lady voice in that video. I had hoped you had other videos. That was my favorite video that I would watch when I lost my desire to sew. That video would get me back into sewing. I thought you were her because you would say some of the same kind of things she would say in that video. I’m also interested in crazy quilting with embroidery and embellishments.
@@carriechambless I’m sorry I was mistaken. But I love this video too. I just love how you describe what you’re doing and all of your details. I think you are so fun to listen to and watch building your blocks. I save all of my favorite videos so that I can always come back to them.
This is the best explanation on how to make a crazy quilt block I have ever seen. Thank you so much. I would love to see how you stitched it!
This was a very helpful video. Thanks.
Thank you for watching. Have fun.
Thank you! Excellent tutorial! You cleared up a few questions for me. Best explanation I have seen yet. Easy to understand and short.

A good video with lots of good tips! Thank you! Please show us how you handle and use the snippet pieces.
I use the snippets to make a variety of craft items including junk journal embellishments.
