And here I thought I had an original idea.....My sister lost het husbad three months ago and I ased for for ties and his shirts to make her a couple of quilts. After seeing your pictures of crazy quilts, I decided to make one out of his shirts and make a border with the linen lining of his ties. Most of his ties are silk (and thre are LOTS of ties!!) I will make her a log cabin quilt with them. With the pieces left over, I plan on making a crumb quilt for her grandson. Thank you so much for sharing! Did I mention my brother in law was a lawyer?
That is such a fantabulous idea!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!! Are you planning to use a stabilizer/interfacing for the clothing? Which one do you prefer? They are simply going to cherish it for the rest of their lives!! You truly are a Cherub in quilting!!
It will be an on going thing here on HALO. Many more stitches and fun to come! I truly do hope you give it a whirl! It truly has been one of the most enjoyable projects I have done to date! Hope to see you again soon! Thanks for stopping in!
Hey Angel! Thank you for sharing how to do these stitches. I loved how you showed how to add the embellishments.😍😍😍 “No rules, just guidelines,” loved that comment. Your blocks came out beautifully!!!

You need to put time stamps I’m 30 mins in and no sewing has happened yet 🤷🏼♀️ lol
Great suggestion!!! Thank you! Happy quilting!
Oh yes you can smash those extra beads so you don’t have to take the stitches out.
I hadn't thought of that! That just might work!! Ty for the suggestion! And thank you for stopping by! Happy Quilting!
