After customizing one of these for 4 months its awesome to hear you feel all the same things that I did when riding this beast. My all time favorite bike to date. Glad you enjoyed it and great video :)
Hey brother, got a 1098, choosing between a v4 or a 2020 RR. Been following your builds. Which did you enjoy more, your 20 S1k or the V4? I’m keeping my 1098 so figured I’d get the s1k for some diversity but I keep watching your V4 build and it’s tempting me more lol. Let me know what your honest preference is brother
Actually, 'Coolin with jay' started on one of these and based his TH-cam channel on the experience. 'Left it in low power mode at the beginning and did quite well! Check it out.th-cam.com/channels/jPiJbcAUltfMYx-4JqRs3g.html
@@lorentzinvariant7348 Think he was being sarcastic, but having said that... It's not that power that would scare me away for a first bike, it's the price tag. Not everyone is going to go drop 20 grand on their first bike.
So Frosty, I realized that, just wanted to point out, price aside, modern bikes with rider modes allow access to bikes like this to inexperienced riders who respect the bike. I also wanted to use the opportunity give a shout out to my friends channel;)
I have always loved the look of the Panigale line of bikes... The V4S has just raised the bar on all things "beautiful" in my eyes... Thanks Chase for putting a smile on my face, your first rides are really well done. I really like the rotoscoped specs you did when you were talking about your sponsor spot. Nice touch to keep the video cohesive and flowing well. I don't see anyone else doing that sort of thing.
The quick shifter and the sound coming from that Akro exhaust is absolutely music to the ears. I'll never be able to afford one. But that's why we have you Chase to live vicariously through. So thank you for being able to bring us a bike this AWESOME!! P.S. - would love to see a first ride an Indian Scout Bobber or the Indian Chieftain (Darkhorse).
I bought one of these a few months ago with the full exhaust as well. Race mode is absolutely INSANE!!! Chase is spot on, you can't feel just how fast you are going.
It’s because a motorcycle is the most stable at higher speeds with the suspension compressed that’s why motorcycles are harder to ride when at slower speeds
@@themechanicred The suspension isn't the factor (minus the ability to handle inconsistencies in the road surface). A motorcycle is less stable at slower speeds because the stabilizing effect of inertia and the gyroscopic forces imparted by the wheels lessen as speed decreases. The positive caster at which the forks sit are a factor of stability but not being compressed.
I remember when chase was at 20k subs filming on a drifter with the og r6. Hes turned into an incredible videographer, always producing interesting, fun and knowledgeable videos. Love this channel, one of the real og channels! Keep it up Chase you da man!
Your reaction, this video, epitomises the very definition of joy on a motorcycle. It was euphoric to watch as it reminded me of my first ride on my first big bike after getting my license. A Ducati 899. Great video dude.
Hey Chase! I just wanted to say that I have never seen a TH-camr put as much time and effort into producing a video that has the same quality that you put into your videos. I love watching every single one, and they always look absolutely stunning! I am dumbfounded at how you are able to capture such beauty and detail in your videos, and when you add the love for doing what you do, your videos truly surpass everything else I've seen. The quality reflects that of shows and productions with million dollar budgets, and you should be proud of that. Keep up the one-of-a-kind work man!
Watching this again a year later, and I love how he talks about how the power is way up in the rev range, but looking at the Tach he wasn’t even within 4,000 rpm’s of the rev limit of around 16k. He revved to about 11,500 both times he went up in the rev range, and either let off, or upshifted before even getting into the highest band of power
Gotta say Chase... I followed you for around 4 years now and also other motovloggers. But your content is so freaking good lately. Always happy to spectate another vlog. Keep it up man. Also I like this camera :P
Out of all the bikes I’ve ever heard, a Ducati never fails to surprise me in how good it sounds! Seriously, microphones on TH-cam do no justice to its sound - go listen to one in real life!
I really wish there was a Ducati dealership closer to me. I was torn between Triumph, and Ducati. Ended up going to Triumph purely because of ease of service. 3 dealers close to me, and one Ducati dealer 2 hours away. Great FR Chase! Keep up the good work!
Glad you finally got to experience this beast. One of the first ducati bikes you can just hop on and almost feel confident on quickly. Much like on a s1krr. Great cinematography as always bud.
Hey mate, totally agree with you about the bike, I did the worlds first you tube road test ride a year ago and was blown away, think it’s a better bike now a year on as it’s has masses of recalls over the last year! Cheers, G-Man
Amazing production once again Chase! You are doing a fantastic job! I gotta love that you are stating that you are not gonna go Balls to the wall, poeple can watch that somewhere else , yet a few minutes later saying "Thats not fair" and then just let it open only to realise how fast you actually are going :D That just shows how the motorcycle made you feel and so funny to watch! Keep up the good work!
Great video! Your first ride of the 959 Panigale is one of the reasons I went ahead and pulled the plug on one. Now you go ahead and do it again with this magnificent beast! Ducati better give you a commission...lol Keep up the good work!
Chase love your first rides. Ducati is a alltime favorite manufacturer of mine, i cant afford the v4s but i am looking to get a v2. Keep up the good work!!
I like that the exhaust is asymmetrical, that was one of the first details that stood out to me when they premiered the bike back in the day. And the girl who sat on it, luckily she seemed symmetrical.
the wheelie control is set super high..when the yellow light is on the ecu is restricting power.. keep it in race, turn off wheelie control and thennnn you get all the power, massive diff
Chase once again amazing quality video!!! I love the cinematic shots you do in the beginning of the First Ride videos and this one is one of my favorites. Just wish you would do a sponsor portion after the cinematics instead. Keep you the good job Chase and I'm looking forward to more of your videos!!!!
My favorite part of the V4S is the looks...I don’t care how good looking a bike is, if it’s cooking my legs and chestnuts I won’t be riding it long and definitely not in town on hot summer days. Excellent video Chase! Now go first-ride an RSV4! You know...just to compare and contrast the two V4’s.
Great Review Chase! I'm thinking this bike isn't in the Super Sport Class, instead I would put it in a Super Bike or Hyper Bike catagory. You test rode it on a cool day on semi wet roads. You gave the bike the respect it deserved considering all the dynamics. Good for you.
Great video man! love the color filter really makes the bike pop even more with the rain, absolutely true on how light it is I had the pleasure to ride a speciale and it just tipped in so easy. can't wait to get my hands on one someday.
Great video! Great editing! I wish in your route their was some country riding, twisties or anything that we could see her perform in those conditions! Other than that! Great job! Looks like you were having a blast
Not much real country settings up there. Need to come south to the small town I live in. Plenty of country down here! And could give me a ride on a awesomely amazing bike!
I am obsessed with the rear suspension design on these as of late. Ever thought about the physics in play here? It's pretty cool. Bike sounds awesome too! 👍
Awesome bike and entertaining video. Loved that highway launch well into the triple digits. Looked like you were shot out of a cannon and that wasnt even race mode! Way cool!

I tell my wife that exact thing too 👌
Yea we're just going to keep it pretty chill for this ride and not do anything stupid... 10 seconds later... Let's see how fast we can hit warp speeds
Old comment, don’t care. He also took both his hands off the bars going 114 mph. 😂
me too :)

The part where you talked about road trips and seeing bikes and imagining what it was like to ride them, that really struck a chord with me.

The feeling of speed is so diminished he took his hands completely off the bars at 115mph at 16:53! WTAF!
I dont think he knew how fast he was going. 😂
Well the bike is very stable during that speed. If the bike felt like snapping the handlebars to left or right your hands won't hold that shit

Listening to this at work and your laughter when on the hwy made me smile, you sir are a lucky man.

Most shocking thing of this whole video is mountain motorsports allowing a test ride.
