      How bad is it? I rode the previous Gen and it put my entire right side to sleep. I really wanted a BMW but I’m nervous that the vibrations are unbearable.

    • @ape_rider
      @ape_rider  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ApeZX_Assas10n the vibration is very bad. At high speeds it feels like the entire cowling will come off super unstable and plastics feel extremely cheap. Watch some of my recent videos I discuss about why I sold the s1000rr

      @@ape_rider Is the 23 s1000rr going to vibrate as badly? I'm going to pick up one with the M Package. I have a 21 V4 base. Also in Florida. Kind of tired of the heat though.

    • @ape_rider
      @ape_rider  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pcoakle1 I hear the vibrations are still there but I wouldn’t get an s1000rr man they’re loaded with problems. Get an r1m tbh. Way better reliability and it’s not hot at all..

    Love your vids man. Glad i found your channel. Being s new owner of s V4s, your tips are golden 💪🏼🤙🏼 Ride Safe Brotha 🙏🏼 also, i see you use the powershift a lot and use the clutch sometimes. Do you just alternate or ?

    • @ape_rider
      @ape_rider  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It just depends on how I’m riding so if I give it a lot of throttle then I use quick shifter but if I’m barely on the gas then I use the clutch to assist just so it’s a smooth ride. If I don’t use a ton of throttle and use the quick shifter then the transition isn’t as smooth.

    very good and informative video man. glad to fallow you. since in my country ducati doesnt know when the v4s comes, I ordered "23 s1000rr black. but I am sure I will trade my "22 k1600gt with v4s :) the only thing I have to check is slow riding of v4s. my friends multi v4s "21 stays in my garage. and I feel noise, vibration from engine and noises from the chain and transmission while slow riding. I wonder if panigale will be like that at slow speeds like inside the autopark.

    • @ape_rider
      @ape_rider  ปีที่แล้ว

      The bike that was pretty bad at low speeds was the aprilia rsv4 I used to have. Very tall gearing. Most liter bikes will have that just because of the amount of power they have, displacement, and gearing overall. The s1k is the friendliest of the bunch when it comes to riding as it’s very easygoing, especially in low speed situations.

  • @betsalelinbar1924
    @betsalelinbar1924 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    you made me rethink my s1k 23 blacked choice... damn
    how do you feel working on it beside oil changes? i just look forward to enjoy the bike i will choose also from this perspective.
    it's beauty really can not be defeated

    • @ape_rider
      @ape_rider  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s easy to maintain man. Fairings come off really easy and the brake fluid change is easy as well. There’s a lot of TH-cam videos out there on how to properly do these things. Out of all the bikes I’ve owned this Ducati is by far the easiest to work on. I however will take it to dealer for the desmodromic valve adjust which is the big service…

    Crazy (looking in from Ireland) that all those rail crossings are totally open with road users being responsible to make sure no train is coming. Must be a lot of accidents at such places. Great review thanks - I have a 2021 S1000RR and 2022 Panigale V2 Bayliss. Not the same as a v4 obviously but a lot of the characteristics described here applies to that bike too - other than the power obviously.

    • @ape_rider
      @ape_rider  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That train crossing is not active . Most of our active ones have automatic arms that go down . But yes I could see how that could definitely cause accidents if it was active ! Also I did enjoy the s1000rr but my bike in particular gave me many issues mechanically. It had to go in to the dealer several times and I just got frustrated and sold it. Great bike in terms of performance though…

      @@chewben5219 No problem just take it easy for sure the bike comes up really high. So recommend you do WC 2 and TC 4/5 to start…. Even though these electronics will catch the bikes level of pitch up; tires can slip and there’s always a small chance for disaster so just be careful and wear your gear. Seen too many riders trying out new waters and getting hurt in the process. But have fun also :)
