hmm, it looks like the high-magnification scope on the "f2" rifle hugely decreases its accuracy when fired non-scoped. i have suspected this in my recent play, when the rifle wasn't as good a last-ditch "outta my face" weapon as i remember it being. good to have confirmation, but sucks to imagine i can't un-upgrade it once done. i suspect this to be true, on a continual save. "hip-fire" on the un-upgraded f2 is surprisingly dependable, and in many cases can serve like an extra-potent shotgun blast when other magazines have run dry.

i feel like we are going into the era that guns in games are done with more realism in mind
I can't get over how weak the slide release sound effect for the pistols is.
There's no forward inertia either. Animation looks kinda weak.
Ethan:"You assumed no force can challenge you"
Ethan: *lights sith saber*
Ethan:"But now......."
Ethan: *looks at Miranda with sith eyes*
Ethan:"Finally......I.....have returned"
How are you firing the Syg-12 faster?
S.T.A.K.E is based off the Original Automag pistol. So cool
"Wildeys here"- Charles Bronson
LEMI = CZ RAMI
USM-AI = B&T USP (Edit: USW-A1)
WCX = MCX
W870 TAC = M870 Tactical
SYG-12 = SAIGA-12
F2 Rifle = FR F2
The USM-A1 is actually B&T USW-A1, not USP my friend
Usw not usp!!!!
hmm, it looks like the high-magnification scope on the "f2" rifle hugely decreases its accuracy when fired non-scoped. i have suspected this in my recent play, when the rifle wasn't as good a last-ditch "outta my face" weapon as i remember it being. good to have confirmation, but sucks to imagine i can't un-upgrade it once done. i suspect this to be true, on a continual save.
"hip-fire" on the un-upgraded f2 is surprisingly dependable, and in many cases can serve like an extra-potent shotgun blast when other magazines have run dry.
3:51 that gun was also in resident evil 5
How did you get that rate of fire for the syg-12???
People are bitching that the silencer on the gun isn't making the gun quiet but in real life, it's actually still pretty loud, just not make you deaf loud
Half of these I didn’t even know were in the game
Pretty weird how the M1911 in this game is full auto, while the stock VZ61 is semi auto.
The stock VZ61 is full auto, its base fire rate is REALLY slow for some reason
@@cal_f10 game balances
When full auto is slower than pulling the trigger really fast
Yeah for some reason the VZ.61 Skorpion is supposed to have a fast fire rate , however in RE8 it shoots as slow as the M3 Grease Gun
@@GanjaMasterBlaster Go try the one in Mercenaries Mode, it spits very fast than the Story Mode version
That's the most gentle, quiet slide release I've ever seen haha.
Sam Nowland Maybe he put a lot of lubricant and grease on it ?
@@dioarya6275 probably haha.
One of the main drawbacks in RE7 was the lack of weapon variety, so I am glad that they included different weapons of the same type in this game like RE4.
I also really like the usage of empty/tactical animations and the fact that the game includes both older-style firearms as well as the more tactical modern ones.
I just wish the guns used by the Hound Wolf operatives were also usable as well.
Maybe a DLC?
@@andreavacca9182 We can only hope so, because some of the weapons you can't use would have made sense to have in the main game!
There is only one sniper rifle which is the FR F2, but one of the operatives has an M110 K1, the game should have allowed Ethan to have the M110 as an weaker, but semi-automatic alternative to the main bolt-action rifle like what RE4 did with the H&K SL8 and the Springfield M1903A4.
The PKM would have made a fun post-game weapon to use as well!
@@dean7824. Three words for PKM: Rambo, but RUSSIA!
Not only with the variety with all the other guns, but also variety in the fact that there is a lightsaber in the game
Dean And also the over-and-under shotgun which used by the surviving villagers when fending off the Lycans and BSAA's SGR-12 Thor Hammer shotgun as well...
don’t know if y’all noticed but the ak type gun chris uses is the same one leon used in the second re cgi film.
venom shake Yeah, indeed. But this one has AN/PEQ laser sight and a silencer
There is something wrong with my SYG. Though I made it full customized, It won't shoot rapidly like this video😭😭😭
0:44 imagine having a gun where there's only 1 bullet in 1 mag, and every time you shoot you change your magazine
@@WitcherGeralt he said "1 bullet in the magazine" not "having a single shot weapon"...
@@WitcherGeralt the Martini-Henry doesn't use magazines as it is a rolling block rifle, meaning that you must manually remove the spent cartridge and replace it with a new one after every shot. What he meant here is using a box-magazine fed weapon that could definitely load about 12 9mm rounds but instead you only have a single round per magazine.
@@WitcherGeralt -_- I tried to not be rude in my first comment specifically to not start an argument and so you could learn some things... but apparently you still took it the wrong way
... I'm sorry i hurt your feelings by saying that above, but it is the truth... And i'm no "fanatic"... I just like weapons in general and you hating on people using proper grammar and vocabulary is one of the reasons why some video games still call a magazine a "clip". Or the same reason why we still have people who believe in the Flat-Earth theory, because you refuse to research and learn actual proper terms, facts, vocabulary and science. Then you rip the shit out of us for actually knowing and using proper terms, facts, vocabulary and science.
Sorry, but not sorry.
dude LOVES reloading
he loves reloading too much he reloads after every shot while showcasing a magazine capacity
3:00 woah, hold up.. where’s the magazine lol
This is some next gen technology
i see like 2 videos showing the weapons of RE8 and that didn't happened
what a weird bug
"Hello there" (General Obi Wan Kenobi)
*Miranda* : "General Winters"
General Kenobi!
I have to give the devs credit, all the recoil looks realistic for their weapon.
except the, v61 custom kicking too far up, dragoon recoiling side to side???, and the karambit that is a slashing weapon not stabbing.
I love how he still does a stabbing motion with the karambit and hits with the side of the blade instead of the tip.
Feels like it's added for cool weapon factor as it is often with karambit.
Might have been better if he got a decent military knife instead.
Played through once, I haven’t seen a lot of these guns! Gonna play again!
Cool Username There are several weapons that need certain requirement to unlock it.
USM-A1, Dragoon, WCX, Karambit : Beat the game once in any difficulty
Handcannon PZ : Beat the game in Hardcore difficulty
Rocket Pistol : Beat the game in Village Of Shadows difficulty
LZ Answerer : Complete all Mercenaries Mode Stages with "SS" Rank
Good luck for that!
I like how the V61 is the Jaws theme.
I hope they add more guns via dlc. They have other weapon models, I want more than just 1 sniper.
There's another sniper rifle in the files of the game
@@smoker5989 it's probably the one that Chris's team uses. There are several gun models you can unlock in the bonus content shop that Chris's team uses.
most of weapons files are used in cutscenes like that Double Barrel Shotgun used by the villagers or the weapons used by Chris's team
also adding weapons DLC in a single player game is the stupidest idea i've ever heard and i hope that doesn't happen
@@androidps1440 I think he means story dlcs not gun dlcs
Where the hell did the lightsaber come from?
Is the lightsaber a mod or it’s a weapon in the game cuz if it’s a weapon on the game where can I find it?
Recoil: exists
Rocket pistol: not today
Dimitrescu : MR.ETHAN
Ethan : Hello there
pulls out lightsaber
i have a problem with the syg-12 the cooldown is much longer by me it takes 3 or 4 seconds between shots
I do like the wider variety of weapons compared to 7. New toys but still low ammo making for good survival horror
_Oh cool, another firearm montage_
*A lightsaber randomly appears*
_Nani?_
Ethan finally knows the tactical reload
Kunai Well, he mentioned that he had a military training with Chris Redfield and BSAA during the prologue...
Does anybody else know that the v61 custom is the scorpion sub machine gun. Probably a lot of you
how the hell you made SYG-12 shoot this fast? It has fire rate of 1.35 seconds on max upgrade.
I laughed a bit at the Gyrojet pistol
That’s not how it works, but that’s absolutely hilarious.
F2 rifle: WTF am I playing CS 1.6?
That upgraded scorpion is cursed
This game needs a whole fucking pvp mode with this many guns
You forgot to add long barrel upgrade in M1851 Wolfsbane
Kinda sad that there is no special weapons related to other Capcom games, I was hoping for Ebony and Ivory from DMC.
how about a freakin mega buster would be so awesome
I really wish the Samurai edge had infinite ammo purchase option. I know it’s not that great of a gun. But I’d of loved to do a play through with it with infinite ammo
I haven’t seen anyone use the WCX in their play throughs, kinda looks like an unfinished weapon compared to the AK-74U TAC that Chris uses
It bothers me soooo much that they bothered to add chamber-loading animations for shotguns (round into the chamber before tube)... BUT THEN ALSO HAVE YOU PUMP IT AFTER EVERY SINGLE RELOAD! Whhhhyyyyyy!?
Because the devs don’t know anything about guns lmao. They also described the m1911 as “fully automatic”.
@@hrothgarnogar. Did you even play the game? Notice it isn't actually fully automatic, but more like spam fire.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 That's literally what I am saying...
@@hrothgarnogar. No, you are not saying that. The fully automatic you're thinking of is probably Glock 18 or CZ-75 Auto. In this game, the M1911 being fully automatic is much more akin to spam fire albeit much much slower.
I love that the gyro jet pistol is in this game.
Isn’t there an upgrade for the WCX for a 70 mag capacity??
How are you shooting the syg so fast? I have it maxed out and every shot is nearly 2 seconds between shots.
Why does the game describe the m1911 as full auto when it clearly isnt?
if i get the game, im focusing on getting the rocket pistol and the LZ
Do anyone know how to discard guns to pick up new ones everytime I tried to take some out of inventory it keep saying discard and won't let me throw away guns to get others
Video game logic, when you aim down sights of a shotgun the spread decreases.
Edit: also lol shotgun spreads are actually pretty compact too, you can accurately hit something with the whole pellet spread of a buckshot up to 60 meters
Yup really awkward to see a shotgun operate like that
this game's sound design sounds exactly like airsoft guns
Wolfsbane gave me hard destiny hand cannon vibes.
The Last Word is fun
Never thought the Wildey would show up.
So how do you unlock a dragoon? I did not played the game yet, so I wonder how much effort that takes since it has unlimited ammo. Also w870 tac seems to have longer ammo tube but holds 4 shots. Weird.
