Love your channel. I joined recently and am in the middle of a marathon of all your videos. I grew up sailing the east coast, Bahamas, and the beautiful Caribbean. Lots of beautiful places to go and see. Just to offer you one small bit of advice. Never ever second guess the weather. If that small voice inside tells you no or causes doubt, then listen and you will be better off. Its nothing but time, and you have plenty of that sailing. Look so much for next weeks video. Much love from Switzerland.
They open up with “we’re still alive” lololol I was literally just wondering that after watching your first video.. good for you guys, I’m routing for ya!!!!
LOL, when you were on the hard and spoke about doing jobs that would be difficult using the dingy once splashed I kept thinking "Anchor Chain" and "Batteries". BUT as they say its all in the preperation and the planning so well done! 😉
When docking the dingy always tons of line so people can move your dingy with out retying lines if your in way. That dingy dock was not busy but they will xome
I was thinking of buying a Seawind. Can't wait to hear how you like it. Love your channel. Loved that you showed a little SV Delos love with the T shirt.
I really enjoy your channel, as I watch many many many and your candor and authenticity are truly appreciated. I spent two years totally refitting my 1966 Pearson Vanguard before leaving CA on a two and a half year single-handed journey through Mexico and parts of the Pacific before returning to CA and selling UHURU to the first couple who looked at her - keep creating your great content and I’ll for be looking forward to your next edition 👍🏼👊🏻
Nice content from you on all the upgrades done. Keep up the great work. Oh By The Way Enjoy That Ice Cream once ya get out on the blue water. Ice Cream & Ice is Hard to find. ❤❤
Hey guys I am new to your channel - Great job! I have some free advice if you want it. It is a good idea to have your fuel tanks polished. Using the biocide Is a good idea but only after you are sure that things are very clean. it is good to use for new fuel. Otherwise the first time you are underway with big waves and you are running the engines all of the c*** in the bottom of the tank will be stirred up and you will suck it into your engine or more likely your fuel filters which will shut the engine down. Trust me I know what I'm talking about from experience... Again free advice take it or leave it.😂
I actually got it in Germany at Decathlon, it has held up great and was very affordable. I can't find it in the USA but this one looks very similar. amzn.to/3VI47Tn ours is a 30L. Hope that helps!
Our Starlink was great offroad bouncing around, but the moment we're sailing it looses signal. Starlink just reached out to us saying that our dish was damaged and not working properly. If they send us a new one I suspect we'll drop signal less often. (For now, it only works while anchored)
@@SaltySunriseSailing I am on Dishy #4...2 failed to rotate and 1 got dropped off van roof,...all replaced for free so hope your get another dish soon!
Hey, just a warning. You will get a DWI drinking on a boat if your driving it. It's the same as getting a DWI in a car. Any motorized on pedal power vehicle will qualify.
Don't shackle the anchor chain to the boat. That "bitter end" is always line/rope so it can be cut free in an emergency.
Love watching!
So glad!
Checking off all those big tasks! You two are so matched for getting things done! Both of you are can do, can figure it out folks! keep having fun!
Ok! I wanna to do this! All I need now is a hot wife, a boat, and some lithium batteries.
I really like you guys. I'm glad you were able to see your dreams are coming true. Good luck SAILORS....
❤ The Delos shirt
Main reason I want a ⛵️

Do you have room/plans for more PV panels? Love seeing your boat getting some nice upgrades!
peace
You should get free diving equipment, spear fishing equipment and some kite surfing equipment.
Do you happen to have a link to the orange backpack? Does it hold up well for you? Thanks!

I see that you brought your StarLink along....how is it on waves???

@@TravelerJerryLee Glad to hear they replaced yours for free!
Please use safety cut off red strap in tender boat.
