- The MSi GF63 is a mid-range gaming laptop powered by Intel Core i5 10 generation 10500H, Nvidia's 1650 Max Q graphics, 256GB NVMe SSD, 1TB HDD, 8GB of RAM, 51Wh battery, WiFi 6, etc.
The laptop packs in quite a punch despite weighing just 1.86kg making it one of the lightest gaming laptop around. The 45% NTSC colour gamut display produces vivid colours that are quite pleasing to the eye.
The gaming performance on the MSi GF63 was also quite good with games like GTA V, Counterstrike GO, running well. It was even able to handle Microsoft Flight Simulator and could run it on 20-30 fps.
It scored quite decent in Geekbench, Cinebench and Cyrstal Disk Mark also confirmed its ultra fast SSD speeds.
The overall performance of the laptop was great with few cons here and there. With MSi running deals on it from time to time, upto 35% off, It indeed can be considered the best laptop under Rs 50000 in India.

Rtx 3050 in MSI GF63 has TGP of 40W. Without DLSS, it will most likely perform like a GTX 1650ti or RX5500M.
@@aopcreation5971 Yes but in this laptop you are getting GTX 1650 Max Q which is less powerful even than GTX 1650, leave GTX 1650 TI and forget RTX 3050. Now in this laptop, you are only getting 256 GB SSD compared to the 500GB in the RTX laptop. Here display is only 60 Hz compared to the 144 Hz display in the RTX laptop. I think the RTX one is a much better deal from any angle.

Though, 8gb ram is not enough if you are going to play heavy games.
I expanded it to 16gb after 2 months.
Moreover, 512gb storage also gets filled up easily.
The good thing is, there is also an extra slot for SSD. 😊
and the best part is upgrading is easy. (I am buying 1tb)
I have upgraded the ram at home.
(There are plenty of videos available even if you need help.)

Games I have installed and played in the last 7 months:
1. Hogwarts Legacy (medium settings)
2. RDR2 (epic settings)
3. GTA5 (epic settings)
4. Far cry 5 (High settings)
5. Far cry 6 (Epic settings, HDR off)
Now, 4gb of graphics card is not enough for games like Hogwarts Legacy (ultra graphics) and FC6(HDR mode)
Unfortunately, can't upgrade the graphics card. 😂

The best part about this laptop is the cooling system. Fans can become noisy on Turbo settings but they keep the system cool. The max temperature I noticed while playing games is 76°c in summer and 64°c currently in winters.
Tuf a15 takes air from below so it's good to give it some space from the bottom. Buying a decent cooling pad is also a good option. I bought one with 1000rpm fans and it reduced the temperature rise by 5°c.

Now if you are not going to play games, just put it in silent mode and it will give you the best performance without using a graphics card. Ryzen 4600h is a powerful chip also 16gb ram can easily withstand 50 chrome tabs while watching 4k video while doing programming using pycharm. 😅 (Yes. I have tried it)

Hardware is so beautiful and textured that whenever you see it, you will fall in love again and again.

Laptop is heavy. You have to expect that.
Also don't expect much of a battery backup. Even in silent mode, it will give you max 4Hrs while watching a movie.

The keyboard backlight is decent. I like it subtle so I kept it in a single color, steady and really low so it is visible only when it's dark.

Power brick is good. I've got one with 150watt. It completes the graphics card's need also of RGB mouse and LED cooling pad.

Hello I am going to purchase it for coding and little bit of gaming purpose so can you tell me what is the quality of keyboard and how is a feeling of typing on this laptop. If i code for hours, how is the experience going to be? And one of the main criteria to buy this laptop was weight. I hope it is not bulky laptop and it wont irritate me while travelling
Hi, the typing experience was overall great on this but it doesn’t have a numpad on it. So if that’s your requirement, you’ll need a separate keyboard. The keyboard doesn’t feel mushy and I can easily type for hours on it. Personally no issues for me.
The laptop is not sleek like a Macbook, but yes 1.8kg is quite light considering it’s a gaming laptop so it is going to be quite travel friendly. Again battery life could’ve been more. 51Wh is not great but should last 3-5 hours easily. Maybe more on power saving
It was able to handle most of the tasks seamlessly.
The display quality is good, you’ll enjoy it and the overall build quality has been done really well.

This is a matte display, non glossy.
But let me correct you a little. Most modern displays are non glossy mostly to prevent glares.

Yes you can the m.2 slot is occupied by the default 512GB m.2 SSD but there is a slot left for adding an SSD or HDD what ever you prefer.
And about RAM a slot is occupied by the default 8GB RAM it comes with and the other one is empty by pairing same RAM you can add upto 64GB of RAM

i bought that gf63 rtx 3050 and the perfomance is 5% more than ryzen 5 4600H.GPU perfomance is 5% more of gtx 1650ti overall decent. but not great.slightly better than rivals.
