Also, the straw on top of the roof had sharp jagged edges in the inside and was barely large enough for Kel to fit, and a grip had to hold him up or something. And the steam practically choked him. It was an uncomfortable scene for poor Kel to film and it took all day if not a few days to shoot. Also, the pink “strawberry” milkshake was some weird pasty stuff that tasted awful and made Kel sick.
@ 0:53 really put a smile on my face as a kid when i watched this in theaters with my mom.Ed knew exactly what he was doing and everyone around him he outsmarted them simply by acting stupid.The big hint that he gave dexter was that the can was the only empty can he poured into the mixer while the rest was full.The rest of the empty cans would of been disposed of so having kirk not realizing that ed was holding a used fresh empty can thinking it was an old one was really smart of ed to fool them easily.That easy blink nod made dexter think that ed was more smarter then he never realized until now.
First, even an empty can would have had chemical residue. Cleaning them out wouldn’t likely have gotten rid of everything. Second, had Ed brought the can to the police, since HE was the one who was in possession of the illegal chemicals, Ed would have most likely been the one who was arrested. This would have been especially problematic given that he was in his Good Burger work uniform. Third, the explosions really drew the attention of police, something Kurt definitely didn’t want.
It took 10 months to build the whole Mondo Burger building, yet after less than a month of being open to the public, it would be mondo burgers that destroy the place, or at least cause an earthquake that destroys most of the interior.

I liked to think that Ed definitely plays dumb and when it came to the contract he knew he was being played but he didn't care because it was never about the money. The ending makes me think that maybe that's exactly what it is, he simply does not share the greed of everyone around him, hence why he didn't rlly care about sharing his formula.
This would take a long explanation through the events that happened in the movie, but if you think about it, if Ed didn't cause Dexter to crash and get caught driving without a license, this wouldn't have happened.
