The reason women say sassy nowadays is because men actually express their emotions, needs, and wants now. They asked for emotional maturity and men being more open but now because the real hardships of men aren't just bottled up; its a problem.
It's like they hoped that emotional talk was going to only benefit them by making men easier to deal with. In the past men's hardships weren't really expressed especially to the family due to the economics. If your lady never worked and just took care of the kids why would you even talk to her about work?
We both working now so a lot of men took that better interpersonal relationship talk from women seriously. But with that comes more responsibility on both ends. It also comes with more compromise as well. Both sides are struggling to adjust to this new compromise especially women.
At the end of the day you either want traditional with a potential lesser lifestyle or you adapt to splitting everything; financial and emotional(good or bad).
