    I like the idea of using a pop bottle for the curved roof, and using a fork to texture the thatch. I tried with a comb once and it was way too regular. Also, a cheap source of teddy bear fur are the stuffed animals in the toy section of your local thrift store. The only warnings I can include are 1) Don't butcher the bear in front of the wife and kids, and 2) No matter what happens, DON'T LOOK INTO THOSE CUTE BUTTON EYES!!! They'll suck out your soul.

    Brilliant work. The little touches are what really make it aren’t they? Like the dead grass around the Ringwraith and Farmer Maggot’s fresh pickings. Love it

      @kennygpokerstrategy4917 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dicedrinksanddadjokes well that's wildly unfortunate. My TH-cam experience isn't super recent but I don't think it hurts things to try changing the thumbnail and/or title on underperforming videos. Also, and I don't enjoy these as much personally, but you might want to consider breaking some vids up into shorts. They can really go nuts and improve visibility for a channel.

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes

      @@dicedrinksanddadjokes your content is too good to waste. Another thing that can sometimes help with the algorithm is making some video playlists. That can sometimes cause the entire playlists to get recommended to people's YT home page and/or sidebar

    Man your terrain builds are just amazing Im so jelly. I just tried to folow your osi one and I failed miserably with the texture roller, I used airdrying clay instead of filler and it just stuck to it xD. PS glad to see the beard growing back haha

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes
      @dicedrinksanddadjokes  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes balance has been restored to the universe. Making sure the roller is damp can help. Or give it a bit of vaseline. But yeah the material you use makes a difference. I just found out my Battle of Osgiliath box is arriving today so I'll be making some more ruins!

    Do you HAVE a place where you get your foam for reasonable price? Buying online seems so expensive for the small sizes

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes
      @dicedrinksanddadjokes  ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of my xps was purchased from Bunnings which is a trade store here in NZ. Unfortunately they no longer stock it. There are wholesalers who sell big sheets of it.

  • @dale77788

    Hey Adam. Where do you get your XPS foam in NZ? I only see it in hobby stores but it’s small and expensive.

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes
      @dicedrinksanddadjokes  หลายเดือนก่อน

      There's a firm in Auckland that sells it and Palmerston North. They sell in big sheets. Downside is shipping is a bit pricey.
