Do you think chihuahuas can do it?
They sure can! Make sure you start a lot lower to the ground to be more successful in the beginning! One of our trainers has a 6lb Toy Poodle who jumps right up into his arms on command:) Happy Training!
McCann Dogs Thanks! I just tried teaching all day, he doesn't get it though. So idk. He's as big as my 10 y/o kids arm so yeah. I'll keep trying though!
+RevCandle Remember, it's all about small progressions. Start by sitting on the floor if that is more enticing for your chihuahua. Or have him elevated slightly like starting with him on a sturdy cushion. Safety is the most important factor though. So ensure he doesn't fall! Happy training!
