@@TheGreen-team Yeah it's really changed since British occupation. I would have loved to visit pre 1997. I spent a year there in 2013 and worked with guys that had been there since the 90s. Thatcher died while I was there and some of the expats went into national mourning. I think their idea of modern England was tea and crumpets with the queen, but those returning to retire would be in for a shock.
Love your videos and also absolutely love your positive attitude on life. You both live life the right way, enjoy all you can and live for the moment. I really wanted to go to Blackpool this year but sadly haven't made it this year, as my wife is not up to the trip at the moment as she is in recovery (God Willing) from breast cancer. On a separate note we have three rescue dogs, and I must say that our latest rescue dog (Maya) is the biggest hooligan on a lead I have ever known out of all of the dogs we have ever had. She is a pointer, and the only little lady where we have had to get a special gentle control lead for. I couldn't help noticing that I believe your little fella is also a pointer unless I am mistaken. Keep up the great work guys, love your video's, they always cheer me up ....... 🙂
@@Graham-w8u Hi Graham, thanks for your support and kind words. Our lives are very similar Michelle also had breast cancer and rang the bell in 2013...so great big hugs for your wife❤️ things will get better, it's one of the reasons our attitude to life is what it is😃. Yes, Donald is a pointer and we have to walk him on a 'canny' otherwise he's unwalkable! I've had dogs all my life and he's been the most difficult to train, lots of energy, very boisterous and naughty lol. We still love him and he's getting much better. However, he suffers from anxiety so constantly nervous. Keep enjoying life Michelle is my inspiration 😃
@@TheGreen-team Wow, are lives are so similar. My wife Ang, rang the bell in 2021, and I cherish every single day I am with her, and spoil her as much as I can. I’m very fortunate Alan and Michelle , I have lived in Blackpool all my life and love it , The bars I tend to go in round Blackpool are the Brewroom, Beach house , Bloom bar , Dirty blondes , The Layton raikes Wetherspoons ( this has a great roof terrace not a lot of people know about , great on a sunny day) Abingdon street market food and drinks hall and Churchills is a great bar if you fancy a bit of Karaoke 🎤, Cleveleys down the coast is also a great day out loads of nice bars restaurants, and I would also recommend Poulton le Fylde , 10 minutes on the train from Blackpool, some really great bars and restaurants round there really good day out😊👍
