Saying don’t try smørrebrød after you got one you didn’t like - is basically like saying don’t try pizza just cuz you had a topping you didn’t like. I really enjoyed the video it was fun and the editing was on point. But dude that rec was just dumb
Everyone I know who has visited Copenhagen has been fascinated. It may not be among the most visited capitals in Europe, but it’s definitely not the most underrated.
@@Itskevingraham Got your point, and I think it depends on each person’s perspective. To me, Copenhagen isn’t as much of a hidden gem as, say, the Baltic capitals or some Eastern European cities. But I’m not sure there’s an objective take on this. Loved your video by the way ;)
normal peoples' smørrebrød is something very different from the leaning tower of onions you had. our pickled herings are not for everyone. I my self prefer the "normal" ones with luncheon meat, and the ones called mellembelagt, or medium covered style, found any where else than the "in spots", but out in the real world among the native danes.. you also have lavt belagt or håndværker style meaning low covered or workman style, which are much cheaper due to the low content of meat. the more or less resemble what normal people eat for lunch, although nicer decorated. try some of those combos, if you revisit denmark.
*eats shrimp on white toast and half a raw onion on fried mystery meat from the most overpriced touristy place in Copenhagen* "Yeah this entire category of food ain't it." To a Dane, saying you don't like smørrebrød is like saying you don't like sandwiches or pizza. Like surely there is a sandwich or a pizza you like Great video though. @@Itskevingraham I found it odd that they called it 'smørrebrød' when it was served on white bread - it really should have been on rye bread. That said, I did enjoy the content, so I subscribed 🙂
Underrated? Nah, just keep going to Paris, London, Berlin, Rome, Amsterdam or Madrid. We're natural born introverts, we don't need more visitors.... why not go bother some of our even more introvert brothers in Norway, Sweden or Finland?
A band... The King's guard will probably hunt you down for calling them "a band" :D
😂😭 guess it’s my last time visiting Copenhagen
