That's why I don't like rs3 a45, they still normal car with a lot power but they car can't handle it in a reao track, in the compact I prefer the M2 Competition a real beast

YNWJ 63 I disagree when you say understeer! The new A45s has a total different behavior. You get sucked in by the turns. It makes you feel comfortable playing with oversteering.
The driver ain't stock.. lmao. This dude is right on the edge of grip at all times through the lap, he frequently enters a corner slightly too fast and too aggressive and the car understeers, loses a bit of energy, then the dude gives it gas to kick the tail out with it's clutches in the back 2 wheels. He's incredibly aggressive and obviously knows the track really well since he's constantly testing the limit.
Im sorry to say this. But the driver isnt that great as people are saying. The car understeers because he just throws the wheel in and causes the car to lose all grip, which is why the tires scream so much. Had he been more gentle on the entries, the car wouldnt suffer and he would go much faster. If you dont believe me, theres a video of a 7:48 min laptime done by a proper racing driver on the A45s on which you can see how it really drives, and there is no tire screaming at all. This car is really well know to understeer like crazy, it doesn't suit very well it's style as well but, when you are at 180kph in a turn, you can be as smotth as you said, you have to don't miss the apex or you are lost, that's why he tried to give the car that rotation it needed so much, 4x4 not really a surprised, even Lamborghini had the same issues
why is it that there are basically zero A45 AMG cars on the ring in general? also same with RS3, 5 or whatever Audis except R8, and those also very rarely.
I don't know about why rather few AMGs but Audis, except for maybe the TTRS are better for the Autobahn than on race tracks. Yeah, it sounds cliche, but it still holds some truth to it, looking at the track times. They are said to be fast but less fun also. Fact seems to be, that there are better brands and cars for race tracks than most cars of what Audi offers. I own a Megane 265 Cup and once drove a S3 and the difference is huge.
In the carwow review of this car, Matt showed that the car has a trick rear diff that allow the rear and to slide quite easily. The rear sound like it started screaming before the front end starts to understeer heavily. I mean the understeer is still there, the nose just doesn't react well, and then the special rear diff compensate by losing more traction than the front. It only works most of the time, not all, so the front end IMO is still too dull. You can see that when he 1:40 tries to step on the power early hoping to a rear wheel drive like oversteer at mid corner. But he just got a truck load of understeer instead, so he had to let off the power and just wait until it is straight again before putting power. Also, I really don't like the sound of this engine. It sounds just like a Japanese 4 banger. Where is AMG rumble? The cabin is very quiet though.. Would be a nice daily commute car.
They got that much power by increasing the compressed air inside,which is not damaging with their components...the question is why didnt they use that technology on their V8s
Great skills Just change the tires. I've been driven a A45s lately It will not oversteer that much in Race mode. It grip the ground like a supercar. Give it some Z tires maybe.
Not everyday you get the see a Hot Hatch run down a couple of 911 GT3s, and then pass them, that 45 AMG is a weapon. Also good to see talent can make up for power.

Mais il est possible de limiter les glissements de la voiture, via le sélecteur (tout est paramétrable !). N’oublions pas que nous avons à faire à un vrai pilote, qui lui, préférera une voiture plus joueuse. 😊

le département AMG m'a toujours impressionné par la puissance des moteurs et le bruit sensationnel, la classe A ne déroge pas à cette règle. Le comportement de la voiture parait facile et typée gt plus que voiture de course. Petit clin d'oeil aux gt3 dépassées sur la piste et merci au pilote.

Je t’invite à lire l’essai de Tinseau dans sport auto. En mode normal elle sous vire un peu en mode drift plus du tout. Hors ici dans la vidéo il est pas en mode drift ... Et pour info c’est plus rapide qu’une M2 compétition 😂
@@TassieLorenzo You mean powered oversteer. The car is inherently understeers like a WRX because of the heavy front end. But the trick rear diff allows the car to flipped back to oversteer when you apply power. Neither scenario makes the car fast. But its pretty dramatic for show.
It seems like the car suffers from its weight as a hothatch. Yes it is definately a fast car, but as a sports car it supposed to be lighter. In every corner it struggles with the weight.

le département AMG m'a toujours impressionné par la puissance des moteurs et le bruit sensationnel, la classe A ne déroge pas à cette règle. Le comportement de la voiture parait facile et typée gt plus que voiture de course. Petit clin d'oeil aux gt3 dépassées sur la piste et merci au pilote.
@@lensoprezole5322 Je suis juste un lecteur et fan de jolies carrosseries; c'est une voiture sure pour la majorité des conducteurs qui ne sont pas des pilotes et n'iront jamais chercher les limites sur routes ouverte... Les autres commentaires tres pertinents sont certainement des professionnels qui essayent et poussent les voitures au dela des limites raisonnables...

Khris06 Je voit pas le rapport avec le moteur et le pilote est excellent. Mais on voit très bien que la voiture sous vire. Et une voiture digne de ce nom sur vire mais ne sous vire pas
@@mafrajo1 Le sous virage est beaucoup plus « safe » pour les néophytes, donc la plupart des personnes qui amèneront cette voiture sur circuit ou avec une conduite dynamique sur route ouverte.
Simon Vuille Je suis d’accord que ces plus simple, mais ces moins amusant pour quelqu’un qui a un peut d’expérience. Ces un choix à faire entre une M2 et une A45 selon sont « niveaux » de pilotage
Je t’invite à lire l’essai de Tinseau dans sport auto. En mode normal elle sous vire un peu en mode drift plus du tout. Hors ici dans la vidéo il est pas en mode drift ...
Et pour info c’est plus rapide qu’une M2 compétition 😂

Really? It has a lot of mid-corner oversteer.
@@TassieLorenzo You mean powered oversteer. The car is inherently understeers like a WRX because of the heavy front end. But the trick rear diff allows the car to flipped back to oversteer when you apply power.
Neither scenario makes the car fast. But its pretty dramatic for show.

It seems like the car suffers from its weight as a hothatch. Yes it is definately a fast car, but as a sports car it supposed to be lighter. In every corner it struggles with the weight.

Since this is a test its probably on regular all season tires since its not trying to break records but rather testing everything out i guess
I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to use all-season tires on this car. This thing will have the stock 'performance' summer tires fitted.

For a 4 wheel drive it under steers like crazy. It might be me but I think 308 GTi has better stability and handling. Might be the camera though.

@@FreeAsange if he was in drift mode, the car would not understeer like hell but would immediately oversteer
@@tommy4862 I don't think so, the car is just not very planted for some reason. There is something not quite right with the settings (or tyre pressures or tyre model).
