All this looks like is more a short what if series like Disney did with marvel. Everything just panned out in one to two episodes as a test to see if anyone actually likes it. Then what they give us a full series of each cards back story and then use it to create cards from the show based on popular moments and characters to make you all feel more attached to the deck then the people who played the deck??
sad that there wasn't a special (insert thing here) eyes archetype for 5D's or Vrainz from my memory, since we got the various synchro dragons in 5D's and the borrel stuff for Vrainz

All it sounds like and looks like is a simple animation of an episode of some popular decks cards story and some cheap fights where lol their gonna either say some over the top dialogues and then stare at each other and then blast each other while having some tight close ups to minimize production cost and its all gonna be in cgi and have some simple fights and short ending the lure with some potential teases of card art and neat scenes to get you fuzzy warm when you see it on the card art.

A friend of mine & I brought up how Solo Mode in Master Duel has an insane amount of anime potential. So seeing this is in that exact vein. I've had an idea for a fan series using old video game and other alternative formats as the dueling methods with an isekai/amnesia story.

It would be sick if they indeed made a 4-7 episode of certain archetype/series lores. But I think this would lean more towards making a cutscene on the solo game mode in Master Duel. I still prefer it becoming a seasonal anime than just a cut scene.
Its insane how much detail they put in the animation. The ice barrier one showed the freezing chains of the ice barrier, showing medium, geomancer, and dai-sojo releasing trishula all in that little clip
I imagine that's the project after the SS anime. That is, if the SS anime does well, that would be the next project they would work on. My reasoning stems from the fact that, unlike almost every other one of the things they showed, the abyss lore is the only one with an actual story to tell.

Holy smokes, it would be insane if we got a "Duel Monsters World" animation. It's one of the craziest "world building" ever. Like, we've been to their world before, we know basically monsters have their own "dimension", but that's never really been explored. It would be amazing. I'm hype if that's actually a thing.
The fact there are so many stories they could do is insane, so many genres too. Like we could get really cute things with melfy, to space epics with zeus, slice of life with dragonmaids, horror with vendread, action with sky striker... the possibility is endless

The best part about this... Allowing older players to see the stories of more recent archetypes, and the anime showing how the characters/cards link together (and I don't mean like a Link Summoning). For example, as someone else in the comments pointed out... The stories linking the World Legacy archetypes together.
Tbh it would be really cool for some storylines and arcs to be Animated from the cards. Like a huge “Yugioh Monsterverse,” seeing a few memorable Zombie/Vampire, Dragons, etc.
Duel Links is running out of animes to base their campaign around so they're going to be giving us worlds based on these anime. We will be getting all of the Branded/Sky Striker cards through Albaz and Ray.
Well no we know their is a sequel to go rush coming this year so we have 2 rush duel worlds they can do. Plus a bunch of Anime characters they still haven’t added
@@tweekin7out Konami doesn't care about continuity when deciding release dates, so long as we get something cool every 1-2 years. The Dark Side of Dimensions movie came out in 2016 and Arc V anime came out in 2014.
Honestly feels like the card desginers ran into the animators studio, got to input some ideas for a short, and decided, "Let's further expand the lore like crazy"
I hope. This has the potential to not only bring people in to actually liking. No, LOVING some of the newer archetypes. Meaning no more dm or blue-eyes players, but more dogmatika players, some sky striker players, etc. The hype could not be anymore real for me.
They named their own in-house studio, saying it's there to make animation using their knowledge from making games. I really hope it's not just for promotional teasers.
I believe will make an animation about sky striker and expend their story. I love to see the continue battle between Zeus and ty-phon as the battle between 2 robot / mecha is awesome.
Maybe introduce more things from the Divine Arsenal lore too. AA-Zeus is apparently the hopes of humanity given form, so, lets see some of those humans maybe? The only antagonist we've seen is TY-PHON, there's gotta be more than just that, right?
That... actually sounds like a pretty awesome series to watch. An episodical series, each about a different story within the cards. I'd love to see anime adaptations of older cards too, like the story of Warrior of Zera and his multiverse of forms... maybe a backstory to Gearfried and why he had was sealed in the Iron Knight armour... the tales of Inpachi and Gagagigo and their respective stories... etc.
That's just an anthology, we still have anthologies now. And yeah, it's probably the best move since smaller archetypes really just need one episode while the bigger sagas could get installments and just stop if they're not popular.
I’ve always wanted them to make anime of the card’s story. If they do I want to see Danger!, World of Legacy, Summoner, Vendread, and Libromancer. I honestly feel like if they made anime about the card’s storyline instead of duels and duelists than would be way more popular than they are now
It is about time we need an updated version of Yu-Gi-Oh, new storylines, new characters, new villains, new plots, new metaphors, new puzzles, new mysteries, everything new, and maybe bring some old faces back
If they made an in depth animated series with lore and world building surrounding all the archetypes that challenges MTG it would be a cinematic masterpiece that the world doesn't deserve but definitely needs. I would love to see it.

There’s a lot of potential that I sense in their department. Lots of archetypes have stories to tell, from Sky Strikers and Zeus to some unused ones like Ally of Justice (remember that?) I like the sound of all this. Let’s see what happens.
I would watch character backstories for years. Love videos about people talking about what they think or what cards show, would love a confirmed backstory for more cards

The Sora vs Shun duel was actually good especially if you watch the original JP. For context, Sora was finally learning to have fun dueling as deep inside he always wanted to have fun doing it however Duel Academy trained them to be a strict and logical duelist. It was until he met Yuya and the rest that he started to have fun. And when he finally got developed as a character his past deeds and brutal characteristics finally bites him back, that's when he dueled Shun. And their duel is just full on a roller coaster of emotions. Arc V was just ruined starting at XYZ dimension and it started to get rushed towards the end.
My goodness, my dream came true. I've always loved yugioh lore, and always wondered how it would look like in an anime. Personally I am very hyped for this I just hope the story is good.
I am personally very interested in seeing albaz and ecclesia more, I freaking love the branded deck when I use it in Master Duel even before I found out it was meta back then, cause Im a filthy casual who stumbled upon a semi-complete deck, the cards were just cool in my eyes

Yu-Gi-Oh actually growing up!!! I would love a reboot of the original Anime following the manga and cleaning up the content by inserting more of the games and using real mechanics from the cards. Capsul Monsters segments, too. It would be great if they somehow used it as a launch.

They named their own in-house studio, saying it's there to make animation using their knowledge from making games. I really hope it's not just for promotional teasers.

I believe will make an animation about sky striker and expend their story. I love to see the continue battle between Zeus and ty-phon as the battle between 2 robot / mecha is awesome.
Maybe introduce more things from the Divine Arsenal lore too. AA-Zeus is apparently the hopes of humanity given form, so, lets see some of those humans maybe? The only antagonist we've seen is TY-PHON, there's gotta be more than just that, right?

That... actually sounds like a pretty awesome series to watch. An episodical series, each about a different story within the cards.
I'd love to see anime adaptations of older cards too, like the story of Warrior of Zera and his multiverse of forms... maybe a backstory to Gearfried and why he had was sealed in the Iron Knight armour... the tales of Inpachi and Gagagigo and their respective stories... etc.
They kinda gotta pick one, or perhaps they can do old style OVAs where its a single episode on any given story. God I miss OVAs.
That's just an anthology, we still have anthologies now. And yeah, it's probably the best move since smaller archetypes really just need one episode while the bigger sagas could get installments and just stop if they're not popular.

I’ve always wanted them to make anime of the card’s story. If they do I want to see Danger!, World of Legacy, Summoner, Vendread, and Libromancer. I honestly feel like if they made anime about the card’s storyline instead of duels and duelists than would be way more popular than they are now
It is about time we need an updated version of Yu-Gi-Oh, new storylines, new characters, new villains, new plots, new metaphors, new puzzles, new mysteries, everything new, and maybe bring some old faces back
God I hope we get a full Albaz anime, that shit would slap so damn hard
If they made an in depth animated series with lore and world building surrounding all the archetypes that challenges MTG it would be a cinematic masterpiece that the world doesn't deserve but definitely needs. I would love to see it.
Honestly this has me hyped and I hope they continue this because one it would not only get more people into the game but also finally give us some concrete evidence for the speculation we have had to go through to try and figure out the lore
There’s a lot of potential that I sense in their department. Lots of archetypes have stories to tell, from Sky Strikers and Zeus to some unused ones like Ally of Justice (remember that?)

I would watch character backstories for years. Love videos about people talking about what they think or what cards show, would love a confirmed backstory for more cards
Making anime about Yugioh card lores is BADASS and I would LOVE to see it.
I’m in full support of this I would love to see them do the Kashtira anime and Tearlements we need back stories to the card they’re so awesome especially nightmare crusadia and orcust stories
This would make a great anthology series. So many stories behind these cards. As a monarch and gem-knights player, I'd love to see them get their stories adapted and they're barely scratching the surface

So basically a Yu-Gi-Oh anime that revolves around the lore of the monsters. I would love to see the Striker side along with the fall of albaz. You could easily make it into multiple anime

The Sora vs Shun duel was actually good especially if you watch the original JP. For context, Sora was finally learning to have fun dueling as deep inside he always wanted to have fun doing it however Duel Academy trained them to be a strict and logical duelist. It was until he met Yuya and the rest that he started to have fun. And when he finally got developed as a character his past deeds and brutal characteristics finally bites him back, that's when he dueled Shun. And their duel is just full on a roller coaster of emotions. Arc V was just ruined starting at XYZ dimension and it started to get rushed towards the end.

My goodness, my dream came true. I've always loved yugioh lore, and always wondered how it would look like in an anime. Personally I am very hyped for this I just hope the story is good.
I am personally very interested in seeing albaz and ecclesia more, I freaking love the branded deck when I use it in Master Duel even before I found out it was meta back then, cause Im a filthy casual who stumbled upon a semi-complete deck, the cards were just cool in my eyes
It's gonna blow up. It'll literally overpower the game in a way that people who'll watch it won't even know there's an actual game for it. I'm so happy about this. Kazuki Takahashi would be so proud.
It would be absolute fire if they did and I am really hoping they do start just animating the lores of the card achtypes
Yu-Gi-Oh actually growing up!!! I would love a reboot of the original Anime following the manga and cleaning up the content by inserting more of the games and using real mechanics from the cards. Capsul Monsters segments, too. It would be great if they somehow used it as a launch.
