Great tips, Ben!!! Thank you so much. I'm sure these are not only tips to pass b1, c1 or c2 but also rules of life :let's start well in advance if we want to achieve any goal, try to know in the tiniest details what we've to do and last but not the least, let's accept that the journey might be very very long and have to practice patience and motivation and optimism. In a nutshell live well, love what you've to do, laugh and sleep well😊👍
Hi Ben! Thank you for your helpful tips 👍 I'm planning to take B2 exam i March. Could you please give me an idea about popular topics for writing an essay part? I've been practising other parts quite a lot but haven't really done any essay practice. Thanks in advance 😉
Hi Kinga! The topic of the essay will be given to you in the exam and could be almost anything. I recommend that you download the free B2 First Cambridge Exam Handbook from the official Cambridge exams website which has all the information you need and sample exams. Just google it, it should be the first result.
Hiya! I have a question regarding Listening part of the exam. Does anybody know if there is a short break between the recordings being played for the first and then second time? I find it really helpful to listen to it once, try to find the correct answer to as many questions as I can remember, and then play the recording second time to fill in the remaining gaps. That's how I find it easier but obviously it might not work like that in the actual exam 🤔

''Start your preparation in advance!'' Here i am, one day before the exam. :]
Anyway, thank you for the tips!
Haha, I did it the same way. By the end of it I honestly felt like I was barely B1 but luckily I passed
Passed C1 with around 70%-80% in each part I'm happy with the results

Objective First is a good one.

Sorry Kinga... you won't have time to do it that way. You have about 5 seconds between the first and second listen.
Thanks Ben, that's a shame...
How do you recommend using study buddies?
Mainly to practise the speaking paper together. But it's also useful to test each other and do exercises together for motivational purposes
Can you make some videos about the listening and writing parts?
Yes! That's my plan... coming soon 😁
