Hello, Coach Lee. I followed everything in your videos and overcome my anxiety from breaking up. After 3 months he came back, asked for forgiveness and chance to be together again. He is now making efforts to be with me. It is just amazing that when we talked about it, he really did experienced the stages that you discussed after a break up. And he ended up realizing that his love is still greater than all our problems.

Did your bf meet other girl, had sex with her and when that failed he came back to you? If so, then you were his second option safety net and will probably do it again. I have had a situation like that and hope that you didn’t.
@@Mead33 if he left the other, she's not the second choice. I have my pride though we need to understand how human mind works, it's about values and quemistry in your brain we are animals after all. Saying this even though he was with another person and have sex or whatever (cause we don't know) he realize he miss her and it was because of the bond they have created. There are so many variables to take in consideration but they are mostly alike. And dont get me wrong I feel, I know Im the kind of person that knows he left me for someone else and any left apreciation just will fall. Sometimes we react on rage or just because we are to pride, and there's nothing wrong about it. As long as it wont become a repetitive behaviour I dont see why is wrong to take them back, though I dont feel like I would it but we are not all the same.
Kiasca yah if u really love the person. Whatever he did to u or said bad things towards u, when he started to reach out to u again and be humble you cant resist to accept them again. Esp when u see that theyr so sincere and doing a lot of effort more than they did for u before.

from London UK. Silence is golden. Coach Lee, we divorced. I regretted the divorce, deep down. After 3 years post divorce. He reached out to me, but I had blocked him, on all social media, wA, etc. I forgot to block him on Skype. I logged into Skype, and was greeted with lots of missed messages & missed calls. we spoke for ages & the rest is history.
We are taking it slowly this time. He is the love of my life. I am so happy.

Nc works in my case also my ex call me msg me even came to meet me also but she doesn't realise what she said to me not even accepting the what she did instead of that she is saying i have saw boys for marriage & telling me that she has done mistake staying with me

My ex came sniffing around the bar I frequent exactly a year after the break up on the night I’m always up there. This was her way of contacting me which was bold. After a year I told her to pound salt, I didn’t even want to chat at that point.

Thank you, Coach Lee. My ex started to send me pictures of us together after no contact. He has depression and that is a topic I wish you would touch up someday. I am still keeping the distance and letting him initiate the conversation, until he is more steady in his communication. These videos help me not mess it up.

Very. Good. I find This vids soothing also. Me on week 3 no contact. And. Yesterday I logically convinced myself: 1 - ex made a mistake and will return, 2- ex never loved me if able /convinced self to walk away w/o trying to work on...also, once ex comes back (if), are we ready to start NEW relationship with them? Old “comfort of relationship” won’t work. It has to be an entirely different relationship with new actions/events/traits... old are predictable and not exiting anymore. Both will have to try harder to maintain it. So. Why not to start a new relationship with a new person and let it unfold naturally w/o any pressure... good luck. !!

Hey guys i did nc after my ex broke up with me on our 2 years celebration it was a week before my birthday she said that
"she didnt feel the butterflys she had when we first started dating"
We havent talk for 6 month and then i got a message it was a simple
"I think about you a lot how are you"
I chose to not responde i went into therapy and im going to the gym regulary when we broke up my self eateem was shatered the therapy sessions really helped me to better understand how im feeling, its been 8 months and ive been talking to a new girl nothing romantic were just talking but i feel much better to anyone who read this message time and self love/goals will heal you please know that you are loved wish all the best on your journy it will pass ❤️

I was supposed to get married today, my ex text me to apologise for it not working out and hoped that I was ok. I wished him well and told him I was happier now. He was compelled to reply ‘glad you feel the same’ lol. The truth is I am happier now, in myself, I have a better job, I’ve been redecorating the house my way, my two older kids that aren’t his don’t have to put up with his strict rules. I just don’t think I’d want him back. He expects everyone to be perfect and whilst no one is perfect I’m 34 and actually pretty ok with exactly who I am

I wish I’d found you before I’d done all the damage that comes with being an anxious preoccupied attachment person, my ex is an avoidant and it’s been 10 months since he left. I’ve only implemented no contact rule properly a month ago, until I saw your videos I was messaging him once a month with an excuse to make contact. He was so cold and distant most of the time except for when he wished me a Merry Christmas. We had a good relationship and neither one cheated so I’ve been shocked by his decision and of course am still in love with him and want him back. I’m not sure he will ever return but I know for certain I’ve learnt incredibly valuable life skills from listening to all your videos. Thank you for kindly sharing your wisdom with the world 🤗

@@rwankyo3 He hasn’t come back yet, however he has adopted my closest friends and stays close to them. He can’t hear my name being mentioned, he will ask people to not say my name because according to him it’s a sensitive subject. I’m still waiting but it’s hard because I know how much trauma he has from his life and I don’t think he will ever confront it, which means he will probably stay gone because he pushes anyone away when they get too close. I believe he still loves me but doesn’t know how to face everything that’s happened. I still hope for him though, and hope that he comes back. I will always love him.

I am of the opinion that while in NC working on yourself. But give them a deadline to come back to you. After you have healed and they haven’t come back, then move on to someone else. There’s no one on earth worth waiting forever for.

That feeling of family was very much in me, but not her. Makes sense, knowing her very wounded, broken family history. I wasn't even her surrogate family. She was too wounded, too angry, too unconscious. C'est la vie.

My ex was the only family I had and she held it against me all the time and took advantage that I had no one else to lean on including family. I guess it empowered her to treat me so badley. I totally get where you’re coming from. I went 10 months w/o contact after my ex dumped me. She posted things in order to get my attention, but I resisted. She recently reached out (for a particular event) and we txtd for a lil bit. I can sense her hesitation, and I’m not pushing. I reached out 1x, we had a txt convo, and it was cool. But she’s the type who doesn’t like to put herself out there. Her fears have always been a powerful force in her life. So I’m playing it cool. Back in nc right now. I’m in a much better place. Much stronger. Like he said, be patient man, work on yourself, and get yourself to that level where you know your own worth.

Told her to text me if she ever wanted to hang our again, she hasn't done that yet. Saw her on the street a week after that, she saw me but didn't even greet me. Broke my own heart again, should've stayed in no contact tbh😅

Dear Coach Lee: you are such a great person, I have been watching your videos after my ex broke up with me, and she did told me that we are not getting back together, I desperately reached out and that was a mistake, I then started watching your channel and to be honest you have been a blessing, I feel stronger, confident and I sincerely look forward for my future with or without her. Yes I hope she reached out eventually, but I'm keeping my feet in the ground and not having any expectations, most importantly I started no contact and evdnthough it's been hard, you sincerely have helped me to get through this little by little. Thanks for asking! So I gave time to .yself and focused on me, not expecring her to contact me at all and little by little I started healing.
After some months I met my current partner (we have been together since then) again nothing forces and I let things flor. While with my partner my ex started contacting me telling me "I miss you, csn we meet or can we talk" and she only messaged me during Christmas and my Birthday, but after that I let her know that I moved from that and I dwell what I needed to dwel,, and that at that point she was an experience from where I grew. Since then ive been very happy.

Hi coach Lee, new to your channel. I heard you say ppl have gotten back after 10 yrs. It's been that long for my ex husband I, whose now in a 4 yr relationship. We saw each other the other day and our chemistry was hot. We saw each other the following week and it was the same. He keep saying he's committed but when I asked if he wanted me to stop flirting he smile and said, just slow and give me some time, then the next day went back to saying he's committed and wants to be friends. I know we still love each other, but at this point, dont know what to do. Any advice?
I went no contact for 45 days and asked for my stuff back. It took a total of 2.5 months later to finally meet and get my stuff back. No contact in between that time. I was hoping for a reconciliation but from our conversation I can tell he’s moved on and was dating someone new. I came home that night and cried my eyes out I feel so pathetic. I loved this person so much. But it’s for the best. This person made a choice to actively not want me in their life and I should not choose someone who does not choose me.

easily replaceable . First off, you’re not easily replaceable! Understand that. You’ve contributed to a relationship which I’m sure had very great moments. So, SHE, will not forget. Secondly, what I’ve found to be true is that people who immediately jump to posting pics on social media WANT people to think their life is great. That, they are happy. By posting “cute” pics. Me, personally if the relationship had any substantial amount of time like a year or more, posting pics like that is tacky. But they want this new “thing” to be real... So broadcasting that for people to see, in their eyes makes that true. It doesn’t. So, with that being said. Take this time to work on yourself. Invest in becoming a better you. Gym, job, home, becoming healthy physically and mentally. This thing that she’s doing now is going to run it’s course. You cannot change that. So accept it. Now, it’s up to you to become a better you!

@@mushroom4978 62 days NC now. Its gets easier. Better sleep. Less crying. At 45th day he "accidentally" message to a family member but send "wrongly" to me. I think he tried trick me to break NC. I did not reply him. He posted 2 meaningful pictures meant for both of us in social media. Not our pictures but interesting pictures we both had liked and discussed. I think he is trying to remind me of him. I Am still sad..so sad. Miss him like hell. Sometimes i cant help it but posted a picture thats meaningful for both of us too. I know i shouldn't. He kept looking at every stories i posted . But he did not make any move. So i am will not budge and stay in NC. 😭😭 this could take months! Everyday still think of him. keep listening to Coach Lee

I did zero contact whatsoever. And i moved on, met a really nice guy and now he's my boyfriend. The funny thing is, the moment my ex knew i already have someone else he came back and wanted me again but it was too late. I wished him well instead

Personally for me I've done it 2 times to the same person.First time it took 4-5 weeks and the second time 7weeks but it does work

He asked about me at one point but then said he is content with how it is now. Then, I wrote him a message and he read it very early on a Saturday morning... I checked that morning because I had a dream about him and could tell when he read it. He didn’t respond. I sent one last message today and asked if we could talk, that I still love him and hate the thought of us never talking again. I also said I want him to be happy even if it’s not with me and if this is what he needs then I want to respect it.
When we were together he said I was his soulmate, he looked for me for years... (we met 15 years ago). He said he loves me when he broke up with me too...

I feel very similar to your descriptions, feel like my ex is my soul mate even though we were only together for 7 months. It was like a happy content daydream. It has been over a year, and I still think about her every day. 15 years is a long time. Dont ever feel like this is your last shot. Never day never. Commit to your plan of strength. Do nc, when theyl talk to you again you know at least that they are open to talking.

Like in my situation, I’m taking it as an opportunity to show him we can be happy around each other and have good conversation. Our relationship wasn’t bad at all! There was just a lot going on and I was always stressed out and gave him a hard time for being friends with his sons mom. I didn’t understand their friendship at the time but, now I do. Since we broke up, my sons dad and I have learned to coparent as well. Have you and her talked again?

Ive just recently talked to her some over the past month. She ranfomly asked whether i had an intimate video of the one time we got a hotel together for an event. Since I was on the phone already, I said I already gave them all on a CD. But she said she foesnt have a working player. So I said I could send her them, but not right away bc id have to convert the raw files. Later after thinking, I was afraid that she was asking just to attract some other guy, so I was asking around and searching what to do..
I talked with coach Craig and Margaret, since I couldn't get coach Lee at the time, which was frustrating bc instead of giving advice on what to do, they said to just keep working on myself, and to basically give up on her bc shes probably too young to want to commit!
That was exactly how I felt about friendship back in February when she reached out and told her that its better than nothing, and at first she gave me hope in saying "see where it goes" but she retracted it probably bc I was too eager. Now I dont want it. Well I really want to, I just think its a weak position, im not being true to myself and her since I really want more, I'd feel really depressed and jealous if she was seeing someone else seriously, etc. But I also know she may need time and see other people to figure herself out. Idk..
I gave her the option to either get back together or be friends or nothing. I feel offering friendship was a mistake, and the best approach would be to start over with dating, platonic at first.
But when someone leaves you, doesn’t that break your trust, does it not shatter you? And even if he comes back how do you know that they won’t leave you again?

I loved my ex despite all his flaws, i still do. Maybe i am broken too, but he was in a worse way. We broke up, silent treatment from his part, initially i begged pleaded asked for forgiveness, the whole nine yards, still silent, so i gave him that space. I am still hoping he would reach out, but i know if he hasn't changed i might not accept him. It was just the crazy madly in love part of me -my attachment essentially that's wanting him. I did love him, i still do. But i do realize we might not be the perfect match for each other st the moment. I am wishing him the best, i learned so much from that experience. I wish one day we cross paths and we are in a better place in our lives. Sending peace and blessings to him and to you all ♥️ I am grateful to be alive and experience love the way i know how.

My ex contacted me after NC in a half assed attempt to get me back in his life AS A FRIEND. He absolutely misses me and wants me back but the romantic attraction isn't there (yet). I told him nicely but firmly yesterday that I can't be his friend and can't continue to interact with him as a friend but if he changes his mind to reach out to me. And so no contact begins again. It's tough but glad I'm have the guidance of an expert like Coach Lee.

It was just a one reason that I confronted, couldn't take it easily and it separated us to this extent that he's completely ghosting me. But only one jope is that he's not blicking me despite my asking him several times to do so as a sign that he over me and if I m really unwanted. There's just a grand silence but he never blocked me. Not even once. This is the only hope tgats keeping me breathing.

The odds are NOT in your favor. They moved on. You need to also. In the end you will be a lot happier than he ever will be for what he did to you. I guarantee. Heal, move on and love yourself!

I analysed, questioned him what woukd do if he's me and I confronted the most heart breaking words used but never attemped to admit tgat he feels sorry to slip those words and the act that he woukd never appreciate if I woukd gave done. What I was in a thought that may be he's guilty but egoistically not admitting and started ghosting me cos he has no genuine answer. Don't know if he started seeing someone else yet.

I have tried with him now for 2 months after the breakup of a 4years.. i have came to a place where im done, done with this life of all depression. He is hot and cold. I have a nice car, nice job and my own home. But this is it for me. Thank you coach, you are very helpfull. But my life is ending now and that feels satify for me.. i had a life in 29 years now, alot of fun but more hurt.
