- This is another of my non-professional little videos that was made for a project that never happened. I decided it was time to DO something with them, so I'll be making them public every few days. We hadn't solved the lighting problem, and I didn't take time to make captions or a title page, since someone else was going to do that part, but I hope you enjoy just the same!

Your book "Artist's Journal Workshop" helped me to return to watercolor painting!
My past experiense was over 10 years ago and It was so stressfull and furstraiting, that I thought watercolor was not for me and I probably would never try it again.
But last year I saw this amazing book in my local bookstore and knew immediatelly that I needed it. I spent several cozy evenings reading it and every page gave me a tone of inspiration. I pulled out my old watercolor set (thank goodness i didn't throw it away!) and started to learn more about pigments, practise to mix paints and make sketches. And today I still draw with watercolor in my sketchbook and even packed small travel watercolor palette to take it with me whenever I go!:)
I just wanted to thank you for your books and youtube channel. You helped me experience the freedom of art again! I've learnd so much from you! Thank you!:)

Cathy, I haven't tried one of those sketchbooks, yet. I have a couple of your books one a couple of decades old and one newer. The technical aspects are still valid even if some materials are different. Thank you for the books and videos.

Do you have videos on how to make? I went to a workshop, but we ran out of time on how to glue. What glue? Thank you so much!
Basically, I just make a long strip, fold in half, fold the halves in half, then again, and that usually is enough. I either use bookbinding glue or good old Elmer's! This one covers a different kind of folding journal: th-cam.com/video/CffQyRdTDUc/w-d-xo.html
