I just used it for the first time and when I shut it off i felt kind of a lot of heat coming out from under the plastic motor housing. So I put my hand on it so I could feel it hot. AND when I was reaching to feel around where the heat was coming from, touched the metal dust bucket and got some type of shock. Maybe it was just static from rubbing on the rug? OR a grounding issue? Which brings me to the question ...why is there no prong for a grounding on this type of a device?? A METAL METAL WET WET wet dry vac??
I just got this and cannot figure out how to attach the bag. The inside looks nothing like the diagram. There's no slot to slide the cardboard on the bag into and no rubber seal to keep it tight. Do you just slide it on and hope it stays? Trying to figure out if I get a defective model or if their setup instructions just suck.
I am trying to find a way to cover or cut off that blower. It blows all the dry dust back into the house and all over everything. Surely other people have this problem with it.
If you look real carefully on the underside of where you put the filter, on the black surrounding plastic there is a small hole those cow fukers put in there.. the only purpose of it is to kill the vac from dust egress.. . They probably call it the money hole...

Lol. Mine blew up after a year.. it got real loud for a few months and all sudden blew apart the commutator on the motor.. shattered into like 8 pieces. Always kept filter clean after every use and use was twice a week for 20 mins at most.. never used it for wet. Only dry.. That and the damn thing would not stay upright if you spulled the hose at all.. itd just tip the fuk over and id have to shut it off and make sure it didnt take a big toke of dust.. but yea, just let the magic smoke out all sudden..
The 4.5hp vacuum has no power. I shouldn’t have to go over something 100 times when I paid good money. I will be returning it for something more powerful or something else. My tool storage is slightly too small to clip in and the included screw in handles do not allow the screws to turn in.

Those screws are tough. What are you trying to vacuum, carpet? For that you d be better off with something with a revolving brush
