9:42 thats a boxelder bug. At least as a child that's what i was told. Not even remotely like a cockroach. They may die indoors but they don't live in houses. In Nebraska farmhouse they would gather by the thousands on a south facing wall of our house for the sunshine warmth. I never knew where they come from or where they go and they stink if you bother them. I belive they live on plant juices like the garden stink bugs which they seem to be related to.
to be fair there's no boxelders in the UK, Gordon probably isn't versed in entomology and assumed at first glance that it was a small/juvenile cockroach based on the body shape and the long antennae

It's a thing of you should have a home. Either you've sucked at managing your life or you've had to give up a lot to permanently live in an RV when you're his age and with his level of income / jon
9:28 now that i think about it I dont think those were ladybugs since Asian lady beetles look a lot like ladybugs but instead they bite & invade places.
Even that or Harlequin beetles, which look similar to ladybirds but they also predate them.

@@karisgaines also by predate I mean they eat ladybirds. Not pre date as in before them. But yes, it's a real problem, sadly because ladybirds are good at eating aphids which damage plants.
