Having someone torn from you in seconds must be way more traumatizing, losing someone through sickness is in no way easy. The only thing is that you get a chance to say your farewells and spending time with that person. "The only thing" is no small thing, you know that yourself. But i can't say "the only good thing". There is no good thing about any of it. Losing people are horrible either way.
Charlotte was a strong woman with a very kind and gentle heart. For me, she was not just a girl who died from cancer. For me, she was the epitome of humanity. Whenever I think how a human ought to be, I am reminded of Charlotte. She was so sweet, so kind, so intelligent, so strong and so sagacious, that her demise still pains me to this day.
We're here to share this love and remenber Charlotte. She'll never be forgotten. Happy Birthday in Heaven sweet Charlotte. My hugs for the Ades family.
I am sincerely sorry for your loss. even though I found about her after she's gone(it's not, as long as we remember her), it is still heart-breaking. she inspired me and helped me to be kind to the world no matter what because we don't know what people are going through. Happy Heavenly Birthday Charlotte. It's hard to celebrate the birthday of a loved one lost, especially when the date is so close to the date of loss. I lost my daughter (also named Charlotte ) on Valentine's day 14 years ago from a form of meningitis. She would have been 26 on April 1st, although she was nobody's fool. An update on me: I'm under investigation for severe migraines ( sympathies there for you Miles) having ruled out a tumour of the optic nerve, but I've now joined the spectacle club due to the migraines. Sending wishes to you both & keep up the good work.
I have to say - that cat wins the award for most caring pet of the decade. One can't ask anything more. She is part of the family and she shows up XOXO

Happy Birthday to Charlotte, she really did touch so many people and her legacy lives on with all you do. She looked like an angel that girl and seemed every bit as innocent and sweet. In sickness people also grow, incredibly wiser and appreciative of what we otherwise take for granted. I broke down in tears when she passed away, usually i have a stoic composure. I would call myself pretty hard, most things don't get to me much. When my dad passed away from cancer i had already spent all my tears, at his death bed i simply told him thank you for everything. Words tend to become empty and void of meaning in moments where someone passing away; is such a momentous thing. Words of consolation is also, empty in ones mind. Words are too small to encompass the emotion behind them. My old man was 73, easier to deal with than someone at the beginning or even middle of their life span... When such young people pass on from cancer and other illnesses, it's harder. In the sense that they should have had so many more years. This girl is young enough to have been my daughter, i think about what i have gone through in life and what she missed out on. Thoughts like those make me incredibly sad. The most cursed thing for us sentient beings is to deal with the inevitable end of our life, or someone we hold close. Finding consolation in something is tricky.

Cats 🐱 get drawn to noise of fresh water. Lots of water intake is great for cats to avoid future urinary tract infections. The water 💧 flushes everything out and keeps them hydrated. My best friend died of lymphoma over 13 years ago and even so the weirdest things still happen, like just last night I dreamt of spontaneously bumping into three former work colleagues whom I''ve not seen for a decade-plus and the first topic of discussion was...this particular friend (whom none of them had actually known). Surreal.
even though her life was cut short, the fact that she was just such a bright person just made her existence all the more longlasting🙏🏽
