    When were they trying to stop people from voting? It seemed like he was talking about recently, not the 60s. Noone has tried to stop US citizens from voting for over 50 years. And requiring ID is not preventing people from voting if thats what he was yelling about.

    • @SaunKrystian
      @SaunKrystian 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      TwoStage 45 .....the repeal of mlks voting rights act was during the Bush/Obama administrations. You shouldn't need an id to vote. Im a citizen with or without one. Asking for everyone's papers is very totalitarian.

    • @TwoStageTrigger
      @TwoStageTrigger 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But if you don't have a way to show you are a citizen we run into issues, especially with the current democratic candidates doing campaigning in mexico???. Other countries (like Russia) could fly people over to vote, just to influence our election then fly them back. Every adult should have an Id and be registered to vote. Either show ID or input your voter registration number. The idea that minorities don't have ID is racist in itself. It's not like the SS asking for papers to see if you are jewish and toss you in a death camp.

He was a man of integrity, not a politician, and he fought a hard fight just to be accepted for who he was. No words can adequately describe this wonderful person who, on his death bed, continued to fight for our democracy. His legacy will be one which would make Donald Trump envious. I cry for his family and I feel hopeful that our democracy will survive because of his courageous actions. It will be hard to replace him. It goes without saying that Donald Trump will tweet insults against this courageous person who sought the Truth. Pay no mind to that; it is Trump's jealousy shining through, as usual.

    GOOD RIDDANCE!!!
    I'm very much kidding... I just wanted people to see my comment.....
    This is how I TRULY feel...
    One of the greatest men in our modern country. This is truly DEVASTATING for the millions of Americans who had faith in this man and our country.
    He was a building block to a ladder that could reach over tumps wall and destroy it.
    As a white guy.... This truly made my heart drop today.
    Now trump is gonna get away with EVERYTHING that he has done.
    The blood on trump's hands will never be acknowledged now that he's dead...
    I'm afraid of what this country is going to turn into now.
    I also think.... I think trump killed him... Idk how yet... But I feel like this was a planned deal.
    Because trump was so close to being impeached... I'm afraid that trump is gonna get off Scot free.
    Trump is a mass murderer for making our troops abandon the Kurds in Syria. He's a hypocrite for sending troops to Saudi Arabia... Turning our troops into mercenaries as well as supporting people who were a part of 911...
    Cummings was a huge deal to my family and I.
    But... I'm not just grieving because of what's going to happen to our country....
    I am also sad because of how much he's contributed to our country. He's been a good man and I hope he rests in peace at least... We had our faith in him and our hearts have been crushed.

    Hold on, first off let me say to his family and friends that I'm truly sorry for their recent heartaches due to Mr Cummings passing. And I truly mean that. But, when it comes to the "elected official" Cummings, well that is a completely different story. I'm reading some of these comments and the only logical reason that I can come up with, is that I must have the wrong Mr. Elijah "I been in public power of Baltimore for decades and nothing good has been done for my city or the people" Cummings. Literally has done not one thing that has improved his city or the people who live there. Unless you like eating rats, because he was a very good rat breeder. It's probably because he could speak their language. RIP And to the people of Baltimore, y'all better think progress over politics. The do nothing democrats are only there to keep everyone at the bottom.
