Great seeing Star Wars from the Empire’s perspective
TIE Fighter was am amazing game on it's own (for it's time). Did a lot to put the shoe on the other foot showing day-to-day operations like inspecting cargo ships passing through etc.

Wish that was happening more often...I know that black and white almost fairy tale approach is what Star Wars was based upon on, but it's getting old.
I wanna see the empire as human beings with emotions because that's realistically what they would be.

this cgi assets is actually doable on unreal engine 5 running real-time Attlee 30fps on ps5.
but very unlikely they use unreal engine nor develop similar teach like nanite and lumen, so yeah very unlikely with their current engine.

This was suspensful as hell and I'm impressed they made the Imperial remnants feel sympathetic. Like when he says "Another retreat?" of them constantly loosing or how he tries to save his squad-mate.
You know what's messed up? This short was better than the sequel trilogy

Well, in a world of completely forgettable CG trailers for games, this was pretty engaging and fun.

yeah it's a shame they don't make more CGI movies nowadays.. guess I can't blame em.. they aren't as popular as they should be, "Beowolf" and "FF15: Kingsglaive" among several others were really slept on
@@ganbaru-kun I would argue that that kind of scene in a movie would probably be 95% CGI...would basically just be the actors on a green screen.
Except it would look a lot better.
CGI isn't the problem...it's just that the direction is much better in this than it has been in most of the Star Wars movies scenes recently.

For real though. Maybe I’ll get hate but these shorter stories and cinematics we get for Star Wars nowadays are better than any if the movies in my opinion. Something about Star Wars just works for me with a shorter, basic story format.

need a long, slow build up and character development to make any action feel suspenseful or costly.
Unless you made The Old Republic trailers, then you just need 5 minutes to best an entire Trilogy worth of "story".

That was better than Disney's trilogy and the battlefront II campaign. Let the person who wrote and directed this make a Star Wars one-off film or show.
It’s hard to imagine the empire not cutting their losses when one of their pilots goes MIA.
Bad or good it's very hard to replace the leader of an entire squadron... Even the Empire I'm sure hold those morals very high
Times change, can't just replace them like they usually do now that people don't see being part of the empire as being worth it anymore.
They'll tactically retreat and then mount a rescue when they return. It's just common sense. By it's very nature the rebelion cannot capture and hold ground.
No they’re just trying to make us feel something for the bad guys. Which isnt bad except star wars has made it a definite aspect that the bad guys are space nazis. I could care less about the empire kill them all

Ahhh the Rebels shooting fleeing enemies in the back like the benevolent heros they've always been.
If you don't want to be shot in the back, you surrender.
Shooting a retreating enemy is tactically sound.
a fleeing enemy is an enemy that is temporarily at a tactical disadvantage.

You don't have to make the empire good guys for us to relate. I still want them to feel like the empire. I want the imperial March theme and all that. We can still have human stories from their point of view. But I want to play as bad guys. I want one game that really let's you play as the empire. Not a toned down version. The full on empire. And yes not all imperials are evil but a lot of them are. They are basically space nazis. And don't tell me they are just following orders. That excuse doesn't work in the real world and shouldn't be a stormtroopers excuse. Other than that awesome cinematic.

Finally a star wars game where we get to be the empire (hopefully through the entire thing) im sick of it always being about the rebels being the good guys and the empire being evil, this trailer shows that the rebels can be just as evil.
Due to the fact that they were hunting down imperial troops that were left behind
There's an equal amount of missions across both factions, so at the very least, the defections won't happen until the very end.
Well the Rebels are hunting Space Fascists so I can understand why they want to ensure none escape.

Unfortunately I won't be preordering. Hopefully the game is well done, and hopefully has a demo. But with Battlefront 1/2, and EA's constant action of only pleasing investors, I'll be waiting for official gameplay and reviews.
