He got into this accidentally during his professional life. He had no idea as to such experiences do exist. He was a Jew by birth working in a hospital in US. He did not believe in his professional experience that it is possible. He kept it as a secret for many years before his exposing the experience to public and decided to publish it as his real experience gained in his professional life in a book form. Earlier he was sceptical thinking that this new information will look bogus and effect his profession, fearing public reaction as I can see the comments by few. They reject it out right as a gimmick to make money and fool the public. His book was very interesting to read. People are not ready to say, they know what they know and say, I donot know what I donot know. This damages their ego thoroughly.
