    562 is an excellent saw still have 3 of them. 2 of them are 2016’s bought new together and both have never been apart. They’ve cut ALOT of wood and been very reliable.

    Hey Bohdy, if you hold your left hand slightly to the right on the top handle, it will help you to not cut out of the wood.

    She's got power that's for sure, but it does struggle a bit which is totally expected of a 60cc saw sporting a 36inch bar. Still impressive for stock! Would like to see a fully ported 562 wearing that outfit.

    I only have a 460 but it became more fun when I went from 24 down to an 18 inch bar. That 562 might be scary fun with a 18 or 20 inch bar.

    Mr. Boedy, I may have missed it, are you doing a re-boot on the Auto-tune and M-tronic saws before the cuts? I watched the STIHL MS 400 36"vid as well. While the process is somewhat different for both saws, the cut times might be different if the saws are tuned with the 36" bars "before" the timed cuts...just curious about your methodology....thank you sir...

    Just got my brand new 562 back from top tier builder/ porter and yes it screams, but my stock 372 pulled 24" buried in red oak much better. Made a mistake trying to replace 372 w hopped up 562. Picked up new Dolkita 7900. WAY more saw than my 372 was, feels about the same weight/ handling wise. I dont miss my 372. 562 now fills my 60cc role EXTREMELY well!

    You finally did it, thanks! Definitely gonna buy it in the future. You could give a try of that HTSS(Walt/afleetcommand) bulit, so setting the squish right about 20 thousand, MM and that pop up piston, because everyone one can do these simple stuff at home, and then port it that would be awesome comparison. And since You going to port it You will be doing the squish and MM anyway so not that extra time anyway.
    Greetings

      @@Szczyrczek well we have a lot of pine down here in Louisiana and to me it’s like a hot knife through butter even on hardwood with that saw. My tach I have on it is close to 17k RPM. The porting, gutting the stock muffler/dual outlet was done by me and the pop up piston I bought from lil red barn. It’s a screamer lol. I’d like to put it up against Cajuns 562 which is a hell of a screamer just to see how I compare.

  • @1d1hamby

    Maybe one day you could tie strap a 10X10 bunch of 4X4s together and do a time comparison of at least three cuts for each of the three saws with the same bar and chain swapped out? That's the way redbull661 channel used to check their setups.

    I’d be careful with a new saw running a 36in bar gets way too hot on the crank bearings will burn it up quicker I’ve rand a 562for years felling timber loves a 24 no more

      @Dolmar-Rick ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Novice Lumberjack fair play... better than thought you must have got a strong one, slightly impressed. Though that's. 0.50 gauge, we only tend to use long bars in that gauge for milling, I can't imagine continuous cuts with that bar on that saw, stratos tend to run hot and go slower after multiple cuts in big timber ..can't see that saw lasting that long or if chain goes dull ... lots of problems with those saws failing here with short bars🤷🏻‍♂️

    Very impressive 60cc saw. I have been wanting a 562. I have NO idea why. I am a firewood cutter, My 2 main saws are a Makita 7901 which I keep a 22" bar on, my other main saw is my 390XP which usually has a 28 on and also I have a 36 for. WHY do I want another saw when I already have like 10 or more? I don't know, Chainsaw addiction for sure.

      Oh I also keep a Husqvarna 450(yeah I know), that I keep a 16" on for clearing ATV trails, I been thinking of getting a 550XP to replace it but WHY??? The 450 does fine for what I use it for, always starts but why do I want a 550 and 562, I can;t justify it at all but I sure want.
