Question is, how does it perform? Can the saw properly oil a bar that long? You can tow a large trailer with a small car, but not for long. If the bar isn't being oiled properly, that will burn up the chain, the bar and eventually the saw.. I have the same saw and only run a 28" max.. They made the 592 for a reason, to pull the bigger bars..
I've had no issues with oil so far. I did adjust for more oil to flow and get splatter just with the 28in bar when reving it up. I'll update once I use it more. (It's been too hot to work outside)
perfect video i was looking for , i got the same chainsaw with 28inch bar was deciding between buying 32 or 36 to stop me bending my back cutting wood👍
@VisionGuy after a bit of time how do you like the 36? Contemplating the identical setup for my 20-24-28" bars a I have some absolutely monster trees to take on our property. Always ran full skip chain on bars over 28 and even had decent results with semi skip on the 28" bar I ran on my old jonsered 2172 which I loved but the 572xp is a fckn all around animal best saw available. Not meant to replace say a 592 or 395 but the fact there's idiots out there comparing those 2 is all that needs to be said. For a 70cc saw she easily oils the 28" no problem with room to crank up oiler
@johnserrano9689 the 36in bar is amazing. No regrets. I got the archer chain and I'm not super happy with it but it's doing the job. If you watch my most recent video, I was cutting a slab that was about 28inches in diameter and it worked, but the chain seemed to get dull after a single cut. I might try adjusting the oiler, but maybe it's not a good design on the chain (it was a Ripping chain too)
