This might be stupid but what if you couldn't play online until you finished a tutorial of each class. Also it is impossible for the bots to be programmed to rocket jump, double jump at parts of the tutorial especially if there is a few tutorial maps that could be picked
That’s actually a great idea, also since bots don’t move or act in a way that humans can the tutorial could be used to detect strange movement/behaviors and ban them
Do you really think the bots can't be programmed to make a rocket jump? Seriously? That's the literal definition of programming, telling something (in this case, a bot) what to do (in this case, make precise inputs) in order to solve a problem (in this case, a jump map)
this is actually a pretty good idea, though people can program bots to get around this, it'll take the bots time. Annoying for players, yes, but a good idea.
@@Mate_Antal_Zoltan That`s why there is a map pool, so for example there is 3 maps for soldier that can be picked from so they would have to program the jumps for each map, throw in some stuff that spawns randomly to possibly block thier paths. That means they cannot predictabley complete the tutorial, therefore it is harder to make the bots pass the tutorial and then online.

It's an understatement on running bots for money. If you've played WoW or OSRS the servers are infested with bots for the only reason to make money. Valve needs to start going after 3rd party that sell it for real money and not just steam money. marketplace tf has 4 golden frying pans for sale for 6k each. There's a limit to the number of item drops per player, but they just rotate a new account, let alone it's not rendering all of the game itself it can run in just like a command prompt. So they could have tens if not hundreds of bots running at once making like $25/day. They are not going to stop unless you cut off the source of the money stream.
Alright, here's a real answer for you since Valve will never say this: They know how bad the situation is, and they can't fix it. The bot crisis is part of a universal dilution of anti-cheat effectiveness; This issue is something a lot of games companies are dealing with; the problem of anti-cheats as a whole becoming bypassable. And, to be quite honest, TF2 is only a very small part of it overall. A majority of anti-cheats (including kernel levels) can be bypassed now, (kernel levels are software that has the highest level access on a device) "Should VAC be more invasive?" by 3kliksphilip also explains why VAC is not kernel level. It should be noted that kernel level anti-cheats are harder to bypass, however, Valve are against this due to how invasive kernel level access is. This self-imposed restriction by nature puts VAC at a huge disadvantage. As a result of this disadvantage, VAC is trivial to bypass comparatively. Vacnet is also pretty unlikely to be implemented into older titles like TF2. Alongside all this, Eric Smith himself has said that Valve is focusing on other issues. More money =/= insta fix.
It's honestly quite impressive how Team Fortress 2 still has the human player count it does given that the bot crisis has been going on for years. Really shows how amazing the game is and how dedicated the community is to the game #fixtf2 #savetf2

There's a limit to the number of item drops per player, but they just rotate a new account, let alone it's not rendering all of the game itself it can run in just like a command prompt. So they could have tens if not hundreds of bots running at once making like $25/day. They are not going to stop unless you cut off the source of the money stream.
I signed with my 7 account, we will make it happen!
Valve will update localization and call it a day
We are not playing Mr. Nice guy anymore, we are actually gonna steal the valve now
It's only 15,000 signed rn, but waiting for confirmation is another 100,000.
as of now it's 52, 000 signed and only two days left.
@@tomasslatinsky6476There isn’t “2 days left” June 3rd is just when the coordinated protest day is. It’s not going to stop after that.
Here hold this
#FIXTF2
When will the inverted weapons video release?
(I won't stop until it releases)
!
uhhhh
mmm
yes
I'm commenting for the algorithm 🔥🗣️ #FixTF2
Alright, here's a real answer for you since Valve will never say this:
They know how bad the situation is, and they can't fix it.
The bot crisis is part of a universal dilution of anti-cheat effectiveness;
This issue is something a lot of games companies are dealing with;
the problem of anti-cheats as a whole becoming bypassable.
And, to be quite honest, TF2 is only a very small part of it overall.
A majority of anti-cheats (including kernel levels) can be bypassed now,
(kernel levels are software that has the highest level access on a device)
"Should VAC be more invasive?" by 3kliksphilip also explains why VAC is not kernel level.
It should be noted that kernel level anti-cheats are harder to bypass,
however, Valve are against this due to how invasive kernel level access is.
More money =/= insta fix.
kinda crazy to see Elden ring on 14 for most played game, and the Dlc is still about 3-ish weeks away
It's honestly quite impressive how Team Fortress 2 still has the human player count it does given that the bot crisis has been going on for years. Really shows how amazing the game is and how dedicated the community is to the game #fixtf2 #savetf2
Welcome to the club of dev neglect. Sincerely, from the Titanfall community (who acknowledged us while our game was being DDOSed into unplayability but never did anything)
We need all of our fellow brothers and sisters from other Valve games to band with us in taking this to the top!
As a *"Litany of Concede"* the only advice that I could give you people is to *GIVE UP.* I once participated in this movement too and I've seen how it ended...
Move on, people... Save yourselves the *disappointment*
Genuine question: if all the tf2tubers are posting during the week leading up to June 3rd, what are y'all even posting on June 3rd?
The TF 2 player numbers are way inflated by bots. Mostly by other kinds of bots that farm items. The active players are only like 10k or something at the moment.
Isn’t it around 20k last time I checked
@@Thelaserman20 When I checked, it was like 10 overall.
I saw a lotta fix tf2 posts on splatoon. Now don't get me wrong, I know TF2 is like a huge thing. But tf2 is also like a cult classic. I never expected them to show up as far as splatoon 3. But -- I didn't expect the bot crisis to be so long-held. How long has it been? A few years?
me rn: Hi there! would you like to sign my petition?
They should’ve actually hired the community to fix it!
savetf2 was a monkey paw we said to fix tf2 and well valve did fix a lot of bugs so technically they did fix tf2 but now we are saying how we want the game to be fixed
Bots are like vermin. They are almost impossible to get rid of.
