Went to the mall the other week and went to the Adidas store and tried on all the squishy and running shoes there. This Switch FWD by far is the squishiest and softest of them all. I tried the Ultraboost Light, the Switch FWD was softer. Went to the Adizero SL, and the Switch FWD was softer. Tried the Adios Pro 3, Takumi Sen 10, and Boston 12 and the Switch FWD was still softer than all of them. Headed over to the New Balance store and tried the 1080v13, Switch FWD was much softer ever so slightly. Tried the Rebel V4, Switch FWD was still softer. Tried the Fuelcell SC Elite, and it's almost a close tie in softness. Went over to Nike and tried the Pegaus, Switch FWD was softer. Tried the ZoomX Invincible Run, and Switch FWD was still softer and had better containment (the Invincibles almost always spews my foot out on the ankle area). So yeah, these are by far the softest shoes I've tried on my feet. But like Hes said, the softest doesn't always mean the best. The best walking-around shoes in my experience were the Adidas Bounce and those were not even that squishy but walking around for hours in Disneyland or Tokyo is attainable. These days I have 1080v13, More V4 and Rebel V4. These Switch FWDs are very tempting though. I wonder how they would feel after walking for hours or just standing for long hours. The More V4 starts to hurt my legs when I just stand idly but the moment I start walking then it feels better. I wonder if the Switch FWD would be different.
So after a few months, they’re awesome. I also have OnCloud Surfers which are comfy too, but these are if you want a super fun shoe that sinks in and pushes back like crazy. My current favorites: Adidas Switch FWD, Nike 720s, and OnCloud Surfers. But as far as craziness, the switch fwd takes the cake.
I’ve been walking in these for a few months very comfortable but small rocks get inside the shoe easily and bigger rocks can get stuck in the bottom grooves
5:17 Clicking sound / sucking cup sound? Game over for me then. It surely gets worse in rain. Thanks for review. You are the only one who reported it. Wished you made a proof video about this though. It's a desing flaw then. I have them now. Yes they make a squishy noise but its not disturbing. On a flat surface they might have sucking cup noises coz I had this effect when I was going on a flat street.
Tried mine today for the first time, i got a nice fast run out of them with NO grip problems. Softer than adidas SL's harder then hoka Clifton 8's . Got mine for £66 so very happy. Ps mine did not make any clicking or squeeking🤔
I’d be concerned with rocks getting stuck. I had that issue with a3 gigarides when I’d run & it was painful a few times. Not to mention snow getting packed in there & making a mess of your house.
Sup Hes! Love you man--you and Fowler are the smartest dudes in the kick game. Always the best videos. I especially dig how into the technology of shoes and materials you are. Huge fan--keep doing you! 👊🏼
hi. which ones are soft and comfortable for walking? adidas ultraboost light or switch fwd. I have a knee problem and I'm looking for sneakers.thanks man.
The way the midsole squeezes forward rminds me of on cloudsurfer. But the on cloudsurfer uses a softer foam. Adidas models lately looks reallt bulky and uses cheap materials
They’re a bit more comfortable than cloud surfers. If you look at the bottom of the shoe, you can see that the wholes on the side are just to keep the bottom from suctioning the ground.
Hey Hes, not sure if you've reviewed any Altra sneakers. I just got a pair of their Gore-tex trail runners and it's got a pretty big stack of foam also they are VERY wide foot friendly. They aren't as squishy as fresh foam x but still comfy.
No. If you look at the bottom of the sole you can see that the design is completely different. The whole bottom is hollow. The holes you see are actually to keep the bottom from suctioning the ground when you step.
Hi mate, would you be able to recommend a similar shoe that has plenty of stability on the sides(not squishing outwards and keeping shape in the middle of the shoe) but still also has decent cushioning underneath? I have NB V2 Solvi's i've had for a few years now and really in need of a more comfortable upgrade after having had flat foot surgery recently. Thanks.
I’m a little bummed out the adidas US doesn’t have the white colorway available. On adidas UK, they have it listed pending to release. I hope the US gets it.
I’ve had these for a month and they are worth the price. Extremely, extremely, extremely comfortable shoe. No break in period, no problems, just pure comfort. Feels like you’re walking on a cloud, your feet sink in a little with every step, and the sole pushes back on your foot as you start to lift up.
Glad you reviewed. Dont like any of the launch colours but plan to pick up a pair when they release a colour i like. Hopefully the v2 will widen the heel.
THESE ARE MORE COMFORTABLE THAN ONCLOUD SURFERS. It’s not even close. These are the most comfortable shoes out there. Your foot sinks in and then the bottom pushes your foot back up. They’re fun to wear.
I'm on here to say the shoes are very comfortable and stable. Great for walking and easy on your back. You can walk all day in these shoes. They are not for running. 2nd this guy does not represent Adidas, he's not an Adidas athlete nor do he run track. Why would you people be listening to him. For running shoes watch videos of pro runners that actually run track.
I'd like to say that I bought these shoes because of this video but my view is absolutely different, the sole although looks plush is very firm, when running looks a bit squishy but not walking, I'm thin and lightweight the sole doesn't squish like it does on the video, I pretend that I was running inside my house and it feels very weird that close to the toes you feel your feet on the floor, but feel the heels high...looks like you are falling forward, I didn't like it...

I ran them in 5k, they are really comfortable, the midsoles are the very soft than my rebook floatzig 1 and Boston 12
And wide toe box!
which one is more comfortable, more v4 or switch?
More v5 😅
Whenever Hes says "Squishy" I get to live an extra month. Thank you Hes.

Just got the triple black Switch FWD today for xmas. Can't wait to wear them at my work. So comfy and stylish.

Needed this comment I’m torn between these and on cloud surfer. I need max squish I’m on my feel all day
I’ve been walking in these for a few months very comfortable but small rocks get inside the shoe easily and bigger rocks can get stuck in the bottom grooves
skechers Go FOAM one of the underrated foam shoes i think you'd like hes

Hi Hes. Can you compare this to the ON cloud surfer. Also your thoughts on Hoka Project Clifton shoes
This review sold me, thank you man!
Bought them today they feel super comfortable.. just they look big
Tried mine today for the first time, i got a nice fast run out of them with NO grip problems. Softer than adidas SL's harder then hoka Clifton 8's . Got mine for £66 so very happy. Ps mine did not make any clicking or squeeking🤔
How is this for run 5km 18-20 minutes
I’d be concerned with rocks getting stuck. I had that issue with a3 gigarides when I’d run & it was painful a few times. Not to mention snow getting packed in there & making a mess of your house.
Don't worry too much about it, because its design has an extremely sturdy TPU layer in the midsole. This is my factory made in Vietnam.
Imagine that outsole tread will collect a lot of junk too. Thx for the review.
Agree. Imagine accidentally stepping on dog 💩

Bought these, super comfy happy, got on sale for 60 gbp too, awesome deal
I just bought this shoes, and yeah the clicking sound is real
yep, clicking sound at the heel of the shoes.
It’s basically Adidas take on the On brand concept with the holes in the midsole
Are they squishier than NB supercomp 2s
This shoes's very comfort, but bounce power is amazing for daily running shoes
So I wonder how these are compared to Nike motiva
Does Small stones struck under this shoes when running on road?
Sup Hes! Love you man--you and Fowler are the smartest dudes in the kick game. Always the best videos. I especially dig how into the technology of shoes and materials you are. Huge fan--keep doing you! 👊🏼
Fowler is good, but a bit of a hypebeast
Thank you for the compliment sir!
i think these are much better than cloud mosnter. right ? does anyone have a comparison ?
How do u compare this to the new balance fresh foam x v4? Looks similar
hi. which ones are soft and comfortable for walking? adidas ultraboost light or switch fwd. I have a knee problem and I'm looking for sneakers.thanks man.
How about those adidas quantum yezzy? Great video as always

Yes cloudsurfer vibes for sure, those are great also

Can’t use in rainy or snowy floor?

Hows the life of the shoes , ive ordered a pair ..
What's longevity looking like on this?
Bro its good for all day standing?
I really hope UB24 is completely different design and no lightboost else I'll be shopping elsewhere
looks and seems it will be awesome. Have you trired walking on gravel.
On Cloud Surfer vs these ? Hmmm Which one is softer?
I’ve had both. These are softer. It’s like adidas took a cloudsurfer and said, “how can we make this even softer and crazier?”
Reminds me of the new On Cloud Cloud Surfer. Just beefier.
Most comfy and squishy adidas shoe for daily use?
ub 1.0 but get the ones with thicker outsole
They are VERY comfortable. 10 out of 10.
My right shoe clicks. I’ve had them for a month. Bought the blue ones. Love the shoes. Click is annoying.
Does it has Arch Support?
Seems like an on cloud shoes without the circles.
Just got a pair for $49 I’m pumped lol
They remind me of reeboks zig pulse shoes from 13 years ago
@heskicks would you say the trxn over these ?
they tried to copy on cloud.. but forgot to plug the holes

ADIDAS CloudSurfer 7!!!
The bottom would be a rock and gravel magnet.Oh my

how would you say the sizing & fit is?
No way these are more comfortable than the nike zoomx invincible run 2s. Im going to try a pair but nothing has them beat yet!
They fit true to size. Not sure how they compare to the Nikes but man these things are comfortable.

My only concern is the midsole and how it will hold up long term (bottoming out quickly).
Wait until it goes on sale 50% off double stacked discount!
cloudmonster or cloudsuffer clone?
I'm 61 kg and I can't get that squishy functionality out of these, perhaps after a few runs.
Same silhouette as the Adistar
on running
Adidas made an On Cloud Cloudsurfer 7 😂
It would have been fun to compare with on cloudsurfer 7
I’ve had both, these are like a super version of cloud surfer.
@@LexiconBeastwill you say they are better and more comfy than On?
They kinda look like the on clouds

It’s literally just the same as what On have done with their new ones.
False. Look at it he bottom of the shoe. Completely different design. The whole bottom is hollow.
I got them for 49 bucks so I got a good deal on them
THEY LOOK LIKE THE ON SUPER SNEAKER
nice to see someone cover more than just the "hyped" shoes
Looks like On Running shoes
THEY LOOK MAD TIGHT ON YOU, should of gone up a half size
I swear Reebok had this exact shoe
On Cloud anyone?
Good luck if you walked over some mud or soft clay or even dog poo. Enjoy digging them out from the holes.
