ENTERPRISE NCC-1701 | Unboxing & Review | Playmates Toys

Today we are looking at the New Star Trek Universe Enterprise NCC-1701 from Playmates Toys. This only came out recently along with a load of other Star Trek items (check out the recent Classic Phaser Unboxing I did)

Hello F-O 1-11. A tip for you regarding the nacelle light not working. This seems to be a fairly common issue with these ( there are a few unboxing vids that show the same problem, but usually it’s the port engine …as was the one I got ). There are two small flat metal tabs with raised circles at the connector end of the pylons. I took a small ( jeweler’s or watch maker sized ) flat head screwdriver and GENTLY pried up each tab, just a tiny bit. This allowed the tabs to make better contact with the pins inside the engineering hull slots. Problem solved. Hope this is helpful.

I hope they do more ships that we didn't get from their original line like the Enterprise C, Ferengi, Klingon D7 class battle cruiser and a proper USS Excelsior.

The plastic model to paint and assemble of the NCC-1701-A requires more than what's in the box to get the warp engines to seat and be in the correct position. I tried back in the 90's all I could to have the warp engines not sag. It's a pain .

I love the 1701 but i have to say i prefer the refit over the original but the original is awesome too

I came here from your Power Rangers channel. I am a fan of Star Trek and the first 10 seasons of Power Rangers (I have never seen the later seasons of Power Rangers).
I never had any models of any ships from Star Trek. I don't think I have any favourite ships but there are some ships I would like to see more off in Star Trek canon, for example some of the other Galaxy class starships

Hey there Federation Outpost 1-11 just wanted to say thank you for this new unboxing video. I have to admit that this video was really entertaining and delightful to watch. The toy of the Enterprise looks awesome and reminds me of a model that I used to have.

P.S. Playmates has been the toy manufacturer for a lot Star Trek products. I pulled my S.T: DS9 Gul Dukat action figure off my shelf to investigate if it was made by Playmates or another manufacturer.
