You are a genius! I can’t even find a good pillow for my bed. You earned a subscribe for this. I hadn’t bought a fillow because of the size.

This is actually genius. I’m going to try this with my fillo. For keeping your pillow to stay…you can also use some hook and loop(Velcro strips). Cheap, easy to apply, quick to swap pillows out on your pads if they all have Velcro etc.

Glad you liked it! Sounds like a similar set up to Sea to Summit products.

I really like all of the details you went through on each item, especially the comment about the Exped hurting your ears. I have the Exped Megamat Duo and I love it so I was interested in buying their pillow too but I have protruding ears and that pillow would definitely hurt me. I also liked when you talked about the loft and pillow height being compressed because I need to elevate my head to breathe properly. Since this video, have you (considered) testing the Coop travel pillow? It's a type of pillow that has adjustable fill. I use the full-size as my pillow at home so I'm considering buying the travel/toddler version for camping.

I looked on their website and I can’t find the pillow that you were talking about. Can you email me the link.
Also, I’m testing a new pillow that is amazing. I would be more than happy to make short video to show it to you.
I can’t put my email in this comment because TH-cam will block it. But you can find my email in my info tab .

Still using this pillow, or have you found an improved version?

Hi Mark, I feel your pain with pillows, and I have gone through quite a few as well. I went with the Nemo Fillo king, and instead of sewing loops, I put a buff around it like a pillow case, then put a strap through the buff and around my pad. I did a video on my XXL backpacking setup and at 13 minutes I talked about my pillow hack. th-cam.com/video/0i4PRbAw69A/w-d-xo.html

That is a great idea! Thanks
I also have the Nemo Fillo king and have been hesitant to carry it because it weighs almost a pound.
