Here in Canada (well in Quebec at least) our unit systeme is completely broken... It's a mix of imperial and metric for pretty much anything... I.e : cooking temp we use F° but outdoor temp we use C°. Or smaller length/surfaces (like under the size of a house) we use imperial but over that we use metric.... Yeah i know were completely messed up So all that to say that i was happy to have both, it was easier to get an idea of the size 😂
I love the Nemo pillows. Fill them at half capacity and it's a similar feeling as the compressible pillows, with less weight and bulk. They're not supposed to be filled all the way, with no give.
I love that you make sure to mention that the same gear does not work for everyone. I actually have 2 of the Teton pillows. They're very comfortable, but I've noticed mine have flattened out quite a bit after a while. I recently got a fillo and really like it, but I normally sleep with a foam pillow, so for me, it's closer to what I use at home. I would like to add that some gear is more expensive because of the quality of the materials used and, at least in Nemo's case, the lifetime warranty. Sorry it didn't work out for you, but glad you've found something that does work.
Gotta be honest, I take a regular bed pillow (a flat, Walmart style crappy one) with me in the backcountry. I strap it on my pack and off I go. Weight shmeight is what I always say. 😊
Hey Ben! Ha! I love this! "Weight shmeight" might be the quote of the year! 😆 You have me curious how much heavier one of those pillows might actually be. I can't imagine it's much more than 13oz??? I'm going to have to do some weighing later today!
Your videos are the most straightforward and Informational backpacking videos of them all, I learned a lot and got rid of my anxiety around “not having the best and most expensive gear “ to have a great experience in the outdoors. Thank you soo much, another great video ! Keep going 👍🏼💗
I think if I had found it before trying my inflatable + camp pillow set up, I would have liked it a lot more. But for me I don't think there is any going back.
I've been using the 2 pillow idea for awhile. Not the same 2 but one with straps to stay in place and the other without. I am a side sleeper with broad shoulders and they just don't make a pillow tall enough. I used to pile clothing on top of a pillow but I really don't take very much "extra" clothing with me. 2 pillows is slightly too tall for me but easily fixed by letting out a little air from one does the job perfectly!
Sounds like you and I are very similar! Also a side sleeper with broad shoulders. 2 pillows is a definite game changer? I have found I often let a little air out of the bottom pillow, which honestly makes the entire setup even more comfortable! Thanks for your comment!
I just got mine and it’s true what people say. The first time you fill it up, you’re gonna put too much air in it. It’s going to feel uncomfortable. Let out enough air that you can pinch the valve between your fingers through the pillow without putting pressure on the pillow It feels like “this couldn’t possibly be right”, but in use it feels far more like a normal pillow when you do that.
watched this video a couple days before i recent trip and decided to jump on and try the two pillow setup. i have used the nemo fillow and wasnt impressed with it. I loved the setup you recommended and had the best sleep ive had in the backcountry, thanks a ton
I found a 2 pillow setup best. A cheap inflatable (a flattish design) and a pillow case from home (sewn across to make it narrower) with my fleece and spare clothes stuffed inside. You can experiment with how much stuffing works for you 👍 also, the empty pillowcase weighs next to nothing, and takes no room in rucksack.
Great video - I've been using the Teton pillow by itself for years now and still can't believe it's so inexpensive. I like that the case comes off for washing too!
Love my Nemo fillow and elite lux. Fill them 3/4 way up and it’s perfect. Sliding around isn’t a problem I use the Nemo disco 15 and it has the fillow pocket
I love the Thermarest compressible pillow! (Before the updated design). I am a back sleeper and I actually don't like tall pillows. So that one is my favorite because of how much it compresses under your head. Also! because it compresses so much under my head, I am able to keep in inside of my sleeping bag and still cinch the hood around my face no problem. My bag does not have draft collars and I'm sure it would interfere with those but mine doesn't so it's perfect for me
The thermarest compressible does look SUPER comfortable! It might not be enough for me on it's own, but I bet putting it on top of my Gear Doctors inflatable pillow would be amazing!
I've been using a trekology premium pillow and put a piece of foam in the pillow case. About 5oz, has a pad strap and has enough loft for side sleepers
Thanks, Simon! I've heard the Trekology pillow is excellent, but haven't had a chance to try it yet. Been meaning to pick one up and compare it to my Gear Doctors. How thick is the foam you put on it? An inch or so? Thanks for commenting!
@@DoseofDirt Yeah just a 1ish inch piece. I don't even remember where it came from. I haven't used the gear doctors but I'd bet it's almost exactly the same as the popular trekology one. The premium one has the pillow case though and still like $15.
@@simonpratt5475 Hey Simon. I think you're right. the gear doctors looks very similar to Trekology. I'd like to try a few different camp pillows (or maybe even a foam piece like you) on top, but so far Teton Sports pillow has been good.
Excellent video. I came to this conclusion on my own a couple months ago. I was about to buy one because the channel "my life outdoors" recommended it. But I couldn't get myself to justify the price tag. So I decided to use a klymit luxury large X pillow and a thermarest XL compressible pillow on top, both inside a fitted pillow sheet...all things I already had! Supper comfortable for me, so much so that it was able to replace my pillow at home for a couple of days while testing this set up with no problem.
Oooh! Now this sounds like another pillow set up I want to try! I think my brother actually just picked up one of those klymit luxury pillows (been meaning to try it). Having seen his, I can see how pairing it with a thermarest compressible would be SUPER comfortable! You must be sleeping like a baby in the back country! My Life Outdoors is one of my favorite channels! but I've fallen behind so hadn't seen his recommendation of this pillow. Goes to show that different gear for different people. But for me, the fillo just isn't good. Thanks for watching!
I’m a two pillow guy also. Similar setup with a Scamazon inflatable in the pillow barn of my bag and the Therm-a-rest travel pillow on top. Super comfy and I think I sleep better camping than at home!
This is good info. I’ve been updating many pieces of old gear lately. I love how comfy ultra light backpacking can be nowadays. Whether at camp or while carrying a pack that is half of the weights we carried years ago. I have a blow up pillow but will be adding a soft topper too. Thanks.
Thanks, Thor! ya, I used only an inflatable pillow for a long time, and then tried two inflatables (got the idea from Dan Becker) and then tried one inflatable and a camp pillow, which was a game changer! Honestly sleep so much better with both. Thanks for your comment!
Thank you for the honest review! almost got one due to all the positive hype but its great to know the other side of the coin and the cons going in. Just found your channel and I enjoy the content!
To be fair, his perspective of the product is a bit off because he did overfilled the fillo. I am not saying you should go and get it, but if you are able to go to a physical store and with an employee help you might be able to look at it in person and ask the questions you have. I do review hunt for my gear, but I try not to find one bad review stop me from getting something.
@@DoseofDirt please do a video on cook kits! Like alcohol vs iso etc...back to topic, I love my Klymit large Pillow X in a hammock, and my Trekology pillow in a tent. I believe the trekology is a clone of the Sea to Summit pillow
@@rk80s Thanks, Dave! I've been thinking about doing a video about stoves since I have a nesbit stove and am intrigued by alcohol stoves. Canister stoves seem like the default, but could be some other good options! Thanks for the idea.
I have the fillo elite so it is actually smaller than the regular size. I actually like that there is no strap as even at home I move my pillow around a lot and periodically decide I don't want a pillow at all. I think the Nemo pillow is more comfortable if it is just shy of being fully inflated. There is more give to it then. Regardless there are different products for different kinds of sleepers.
Hey Liz! You are one of SEVERAL people to mention the elite being much better than the regular Fillo. Now I'm feeling like I have to try the elite as well! 😆 What do you like about it? Maybe an unfair question, but do you think some of the same issues would be there that I mentioned about the Fillo? Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment even though your opinion was different than mine. Honestly appreicated!
@@DoseofDirt I think you may have similar thoughts on it. The only difference I know of is that it is a little smaller than the Fillo. It just depends on the type of sleeper you are I think. With you using 2 pillows it seems like you like a thicker pillow. I prefer a thinner one. I don't think any of the balloon style pillows are comfortable when fully inflated so I always leave them just shy of that to help. I don't bother rolling up the pillow in a stuff sack when on a trip. I just throw it in flat in my pack liner with my quilt. I think it takes less space that way. It can mold to what is around it.
I like the nemo fillo elite luxury. However, I have short shoulders so a really thick pillow crinks my neck. the comfort and slimness of the fillo elite luxury is perfect for me. its also a lot more compact than the regular fillo. also the one i have can easily add a strap to.
I probably should have mentioned that I have pretty broad shoulders. That definitely makes a difference in the type of pillow you prefer. The elite luxury does look pretty plush!
Hey Kevin! I can see now the Fillo would definitely work in a hammock! Also, it seems like somehow I missed the memo on getting the 'elite' instead of the standard. A bunch of people have mentioned that they love the elite version. Thanks for watching!
I have arthritic neck issues that make it difficult for me to be comfortable even home in bed with any normal pillows. The Nemo Fillo Luxury solved the problem for me, though it took a few tries to find the right inflation level to be comfortable. I ended up making it my at-home bed pillow as well as camping. I also added a silk child-sized zippered pillow case (ultra light) for a better feel against the skin. Been using it a few years now. The pillow just started to leak so if it's not reparable I am going to buy the same thing again.
Hey Rick! I'm so glad it works for you! I have heard from a few people that the luxury or elite are much better options than the standard one I got. I may have to check those out as well! Thanks so much for your comment!
@@DoseofDirt I have recently bought and used the regular-sized one instead of the Luxury several nights and it's as comfortable as the Luxury but weighs a few ounces less. I don't miss the extra inches of the Luxury.
@@rickclark1372 Now you've talked me OUT of buying another pillow 🤣 kidding! Also, sorry to hear about your neck. Can't imagine the annoyance (to put it lightly) that must be almost every single moment of your life! Glad the Nemo pillow came through for you!
@@DoseofDirt Thanks! It's just a coincidence your post came along when I was shopping for a new Fillo. I was having difficulty finding a fast delivery date on a Luxury and REI was out. So I decided to risk the regular sized one and it turns out to feel just as good, so it was a good decision. Still using the silk pillow cover though, and I recommend it. Mulberry silk I believe. Ultralight by nature.
I ROCK 2 pillows also! I use a Thermarest size small & a very inexpensive $4 rectangular inflatable pillow. I put both of them together stacked & insert them in a soft mesh bag to keep them together. I also put them in the hood of my sleeping bag to prevent chasing them around all night. My sleeping bag weighs 19 oz, light enough to not jump on the quilt bandwagon. No shade being thrown on quilt users. 🤙🏻
I am also a two pillow person- I am a side sleeper with a buggered-up neck! I have a nemo fillo. I love the way it packs down, but I agree- its performance is a bit meh. I keep using it because it's there, really. My personal pillow system involves the best camping hack I have ever known- stuff an old thermal vest over the top of your mattress and put your pillows inside that. I have the fillo on top, and then put my day clothes underneath it to make a good solid and comfy pillow. I now don't wake up with an aching neck after an unconscious game of 'chase the pillow'!
As you said, different gear works for different folks - this pillow is the absolute best thing that’s happened to my sleep system in a couple decades..! One - don’t blow it up all the way hard, and it is much more comfortable. Two - push in the valve (with your tongue or your teeth) and airflow stops - turning it locks it closed. Three - I also take 2 pillows. My second pillow is the one from Outdoor Vitals. (Before that it was a Big Agnes.) Sorry it didn’t work for you, but it made my “absolutely must have” list from the first day I got it! Oh, yeah - I got the Elite - a little smaller but I think much more comfortable.
Hey Jon! You are one of SEVERAL people that have said they got the elite. Now I definitely feel like I Have to try it. I wonder if I combined this with a light inflatable (like it sounds like you do) if that would work better. Thanks for your comment!
Banger thumbnail! And camera is looking sharp! :) Dude i have learned pillows are another controversial topic. I used the STS Aeros a lot this summer and really like it! I still stand firm the trekology is rock solid.
thanks man! Still figuring the camera out, but so far loving what I'm able to do with it. And yes, pillows do seem to be a controversial topic! We all love what we love. I have heard the Trekology is an awesome inflatable and have honestly been meaning to try it out, but so far have just been happy with this Gear Doctors one so haven't felt the need. But eventually I should try it, for the sake of science! 😆 Hope you and the fam are doing well!
Thanks, Jessie!
The size will still be an issue - it isn’t large. But my older foam camp pillow was the same size, so that wasn’t a problem for me. The valve doesn’t let air out unless you set it to, which would cut down on that issue. Also, it doesn’t have a strap, but I haven’t had any issue with it moving on my sleeping pad (Big Agnes Air Core Ultra). It really doesn’t feel like a balloon like others do either. For me, the size is critical. It’s about 3oz, and less than half the size of a Nalgene. For my 55l pack, space is super important. I totally agree with you that sleep is a critical part of backpacking, and I’m glad I found something that packs down small but still is comfy! But I’d keep rocking that Teton Sports camp pillow if it works for you!
@@TheOriginalJLaw Always nice when you feel like you've found something that works for you! I am jealous of how small it packs up and how light it is! 3oz is fantastic for a pillow that does what you need! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Thanks, Marla! The Wise Owl pillow is one I've thought about getting for a while now! Looks about the same weight as my Teton Sports and maybe potentially a little more comfortable. I have a few other Wise Owl pieces of gear and have always been impressed with their stuff. Maybe i'll have to give the Snoozy a try! Thanks for sharing!
I've an earlier version of this Nemo pillow purchased just a few years ago. When not in use, it's been stored in the attached stuff sack similar to yours. Prepping for a trip, I find the internal foam has all deterirorated to little more than black crumbs. I too spent too much for a pillow than never lived up to the hype or promise of comfort.
Big fan of the fillo pillows.. but one thing i did learn from it which is applicable to others.. don’t inflate to the max! Otherwise, max inflation sucks at least for me. This trick works on the sea to summit aeros pillow as well which is my alternative to the nemo.
@@DoseofDirt I just went for it. The bottom of the pillow is a layer of Dollar Store sponges that I cut holes in (with a hole cutter) because I wanted them to compress a little more than they were. Then I put a layer of rolled up Climashield on top of that, and sewed a cover around it with some light material I purchased from Ripstopbytheroll. It's good ... but not perfect (if there is such a thing). The face feel would be better with a soft cover around it, or the top layer of material made with something soft. To be honest, I don't sleep very well at all on the ground outside, but I'm pretty determined to figure it out.
The elite version is less comfortable but is also half the size and I love it for sleeping in airports when I travel I have a few different ones from Nemo
It sounds so silly, but the best pillow I’ve ever used to mitigate pain for myself at home is a Squishmallow. I’m wondering if it’s possible to find a small one (like the 10” ones) that I could use as the “foam” pillow, with an inflatable pillow underneath to give it loft. I’ve got chronic pain and a lot of that pain surrounds my neck/back, so good sleep systems are a *must*. This seriously might have changed everything!! I’ll have to test it out to be sure.
I haven't tried other pillows but i have the Fillo and i don't inflate it a whole lot. My nemo Astro also have a built in "pillow"so, i guess it matters.
thanks for your comment! I tried not inflating it all the way, but then it wasn't wall enough, probably because sometimes I like to switch to my side as well. Everyone sleeps different, so it's nice there are so many options out there!
@@DoseofDirt i think due to the inbuilt pillow in the mattress the pillow gets high enough, otherwise I'm not sure it would suffice. But as you say, we all sleep differently.
I tried the Nemo fillo out this last weekend, and I didn't find it very comfortable either. It's possible I was just having a bad sleep night, so I'm going to give it a few more tries.
Hey Gman! Ya, I may give it another shot as well. Was hoping to use it on a trip I just got back from, but stuck with the old system for now. Maybe I'll give the fillo another shot. Would love to know how 'round 2' goes for you if you try again!
Recently found your channel, and I enjoy your style. If you are ever interested I think a great review would be the Mardingtop bags. They look intriguing for a relatively low price and am looking at getting one.
Good video. But not enough people know about the MEC Inflatable deluxe pillow. I have the fillo and the MEC is slightly more comfortable, significantly lighter, and more packable. Also has a better valve and is half the price of the fillo. Comfort is subjective but I would encourage people to check it out!
Don't know if that's gonna feel like my at home pillow. My at home pillow sure isn't 8 inches tall. But it does put me on a thought train for something DIY.
@@DoseofDirt I like Matt Shafter's solution. th-cam.com/video/c-QGaNQHMZY/w-d-xo.html plan to pair with the Zen Bivy quick sheet (but not the other Zen Bivy products as I can go lighter weight with others). Just a theory at this point as I don't have any of it yet.
Thanks for sharing that video! Seems like a great solution! Just wish a $60 pillow wasn't the base of it all. But honestly, for the weight and potential comfort, it could be a home run even at that price. Would love to know how you like it if you go for it!
I noticed that you seem to have focused on the cons more so than the pros. Yes you described what the features are but the way you did so was "this is it?" kind of thing. The Fillo does have one con that I do see that makes people not get it, the chemical smell. This con can be fixed by washing your pillow in the wash or spray the pillow with Febreze. The con that you had where you were chasing your pillow tells me you had it filled too much, when you made mention that the padding wasn't as noticeable or comfortable does tell me you filled it up too much. Maybe you like your pillows to be super firm, but the Fillo doesn't need to be filled all the way. Because of the valve, you can fill it up as much you want to get that soft comfort to it. I know this is your honest opinion and everyone has the right to give one. But... when your two major issues can be easily fixed without modifying the pillow itself and by just adding less air into it makes me feel that you didn't do a proper test to see if you would like it. Not saying you will once it gets fixed, but you never know. Much like how someone who sets up a tent improperly and it breaks so they give it a one star review, you could try to figure out how to make it work with what you have.
IMO the key to comfort with inflatables is under-inflation so your head centers as the air displaces. The problem is there are all these ultralight pillows that delaminate and crack and lose air-tightness, whether that's cheap chinese versions or even the Gear Doctor you advocate for. Either the technology isn't there yet, or they're not thick enough to prevent failure. I have tested cheaper pillows, finding that they work for at least 3 months at home until they start losing air tightness. But that's without rolling and compressing the pillow in a travel situation, which in my opinion would escalate the failure rate. I love the comfort of the ultralight with a slight under-inflation, but the failure rate concerns me in terms of how quickly these go to the landfill.
Dang, that's rough! Finding something cotton may be tough since most people try to stay away from cotton for backpacking gear. I looked around and Redcamp makes a camp pillow that looks like it's 100% cotton: amzn.to/3PKlQr8 I haven't tried it, but looks like it could be pretty good.
Fed up with the pillows , today by accident I saw a toddler's pillow slumberdown in ALDI 3,39£ 300 grams a bit smaller than normal bed pillow I will try it after a week bit bulky but man I need to sleep well outdoors fed up 50£ for that small nemo is a robbery
@@DoseofDirt I'm such a light sleeper and value good sleep also. I'm so jealous of people who can just lay down on a dirty sock and sleep 8 perfect hours on their back 😆
Pro tip - DO NOT fill your camp pillow up all the way. Filly it up about 70%. This tends to fix almost all of the complaints about inflatable pillows in general. Also, annoying valve? I mean sure, it does have an auto stopper, but all gear made before 2016 ever do not have auto air stoppers... so. Deal with it? Not trying to glaze the Fillo or anything, just feels like most of these complaints were avoidable or non issues.
I would like my Nemo Fillo, but I spend way too much of the night chasing after the stupid thing. I super don't understand why the bottom fabric is sooooo slick. If I had realized this thing was meant only to go in their sleeping bag ecosystem, I would not have bothered. With a quilt and the slippery surface of my Nemo Tensor, it just goes schwing! right out of under me all night even when I try wrapping it in a Buff. Stays put better if wrapped in a puffy or fleece, but I am normally already wearing those to sleep.
Yes, this is an excellent point! I do love that the gear doctors pillow has the little grippy nubs on the bottom AND has the pad strap. I do feel like a strap on the Nemo would make a big difference!
🤣 I can imagine the pillow popping out! Ya, a $40 not well spent for me. A few have told me to try the ultra elite (I think?) but that one is $60! I may have to give it a go for the sake of trying it out, but dang you shouldn't have to pay that much!
Gotta disagree with you on this one 😅 My husband and I both use the Fillo and totally love it! What I've found though is that it's way more comfy if you don't quite fill it up all the way. I will fill it full and then let out a bit of air until I feel like it cradles my head just right. I'm a stomach sleeper though so I really enjoy the soft feel on my face and I "hug" my pillow so it never gets away from me.
Hey Kayla! thanks for sharing your thoughts. I kept the pillow because I kind of what to give it a few more shots. I really WANT to like it. I sometimes am a stomach sleeper as well, but this one didn't feel big enough to 'hug'. If I have an 'aha!' moment with it, you know I'll make a video about it!
This feels a little bit click baity - attack one of the best pillows out there. First off - be specific about which Fillo you have? - there are sif different model all of different sizes and heights, weights etc. You then say that you use 2 different pillows - like any ordinary person would take 2... If I don't like something that is readily recognised as one of the best, because hey, it doesn't work for me, I would say OK, doesn't work for me and move on with my life. I wouldn't make a video in a click bait style saying don't buy this! Not a single competitor would work, as you went with a two pillow solution....

Also! because it compresses so much under my head, I am able to keep in inside of my sleeping bag and still cinch the hood around my face no problem.
It’s a great pillow, just not ideal if you’re trying to save space in your pack.
@@DoseofDirt try a Z lite pillow ;)
You gave me a great idea to combine my collapsible pillow and inflatable pillow on top of one another!
You should have more views, I've been subbed for a while and you are so much better than alot of those "famous" channels. Keep the content coming!

What do you like about it?
@@liza2739 Thanks, Liz! smart that you don't roll it up. I've been thinking about ditching the stuff sack for my camp pillow as well.
I use my Nemo Fillo elite inside my bridge hammock - that’s a much better use case for this design than tent camping. Just my opinion.
@@rickclark1372 I love the idea of a silk pillow case while backpacking Luxury and ultralight meet! 😆
Hey Cash! 2 pillows is definitely the way to go! Amazing you have a 19oz bag! That's how much my 40 degree quilt weighs!
Thanks for your comment!
Hope you and the fam are doing well!
Fuck all these pillow. I use a My Pillow like a boss, and I grew a mustache just because I can.
My experience with the Nemo reflects exactly the same.
I have the Fillo elite and love it! I think it’s way improved from the regular Fillo. I agree that doesn’t look comfortable!
Thanks, Jessie! You are one of SEVERAL people to mention the elite being much better than the regular Fillo. Now I'm feeling like I have to try the elite as well! 😆
What do you like about it? Maybe an unfair question, but do you think some of the same issues would be there that I mentioned about the Fillo?
Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment even though your opinion was different than mine. Honestly appreicated!
I have the Wise Owl The Snoozy pillow and love it.
Thanks for sharing! I think i just like a little more height out of my pillow set up.
I made my pillow with dollar store sponges and a yard of Climashield insulation for filling.
Seriously?! That's awesome! Did you find some sort of video or tutorial to give you the idea, or are you just a macgyver type and just went for it??
@@stlouisphotography That is awesome!

@@DoseofDirt i think due to the inbuilt pillow in the mattress the pillow gets high enough, otherwise I'm not sure it would suffice. But as you say, we all sleep differently.

Good video. But not enough people know about the MEC Inflatable deluxe pillow. I have the fillo and the MEC is slightly more comfortable, significantly lighter, and more packable. Don't know if that's gonna feel like my at home pillow. My at home pillow sure isn't 8 inches tall. But it does put me on a thought train for something DIY.
ooh! I would love to know what you come up with! The Teton compresses quite a bit, which is nice. Probably ends up 5-6 inches tall, but also soft!

The nemo pillow goes with the Nemo sleeping bag ..That has a built in integrated case ...strap 😆
Your making an informative content and thanks for sharing, my indeed support.
Thank you! Really appreciate the support!
What would you recommend for hammock pillow?
Great review and advice
Is there a pillow like that black/red Teton pillow but with a cotton shell?
My skin hates polyester.
Dang, that's rough! Finding something cotton may be tough since most people try to stay away from cotton for backpacking gear.
I looked around and Redcamp makes a camp pillow that looks like it's 100% cotton: amzn.to/3PKlQr8
I haven't tried it, but looks like it could be pretty good.
Will the strap fit around a exped 15 pad? 5.9in thick and 31”wide
Don't blow up a Nemo fillo to the point it's fim. Just enough air to give it some loft and it will feel much more like a normal pillow.
I put a plastic bag over a throw pillow and put a pillow case over top. When car camping that is.
Good call! Keep the pillow clean and the still comfotable!

I do feel like a strap on the Nemo would make a big difference!
i had the same experience. Wasted my money. my kid uses it now until he falls asleep and it pops out from under his head.
Klymit drift shits on all pillows
It does! It’s the most comfortable I’ve ever used, I use it at home, it’s just a bit heavy at 19oz for the regular size.
Your setup would be way too high up for me, I'm a side sleeper but i prefer thinner pillows at home so my neck is in line with my spine.
I have 2 pillows at home so of course I want 2 pillows on the trail. If I take 1 pillow I have the worst sleep ever.
bad review, I love the fillo pillow.
