One good talisman for this bleed build is a talisman called Lord of Blood Exultation, which can be found at Leyndell Catacombs by beating the boss there. Whenever you use Seppuku, the talisman's effect procs adding more damage to your attack

Little trick for this invisible mobs. Take a torch an hold it in attack stance directly in their way.

quick tip - the invisible scarabs can be easily killed using hoarfrost which covers a wide area.

Also a bomb works too. But nerfed stomp is honestly better...unless.......you have a cannon. Then cannon wins
or the beast claw incantation that deals AOE damage
Or use the flamethrower from the torch and that fire burns on the ground for a while

Thanks muchly for producing and posting this guide. In my experience, Hoarfrost Stomp is probably the best ability to use when one sees the footprints getting close. It's AoE effect will usually either kill or at least bring the little pest out of invisibility.

Piece of advice if you stand still with the flint blade phalanx it will kill the beetle once it passes you

I've been using hoarfrost stomp to get these invis scarabs. Probably any similar AoE would help. Just kind of send it in their general area and boom there we go since the invis ones seem more squishy than standard scarabs.
Yeah, I do the same thing. Any 1 hit can kill these, even just holding R2 on horseback and dragging your weapon through them.
To get the invisible scarabs, I just ride my horse and hold heavy on a longer weapon. The weapon will drag on the ground and pop up the scarabs.

A tip in my opinion. Get in the way of where it’s going and use 2 daggers. It’s almost like a 100% hit considering how fast you attack

He’s meant to be fought on horseback. Hit and run tactic. Don’t get hit and draw out the fight instead of taking risky chances to get some DPS

This will help me redeem my lost honor from my shameful middle school blunders.
For people who haven’t killed the Frost Dragon in that area, don’t summon for help. The fight is meant to be done on horseback. Use a hit and run tactic but play it safe. DPS isn’t important. This fight is much easier when you learn how easy it is to avoid his move sets. Good luck!
Murder with big sword no pussying out
Light roll helps avoid its breath attacks, you're safer by its legs so always try to get to them, aim Flame of the Redmanes at its body for massive damage
Iv found that getting up on the rocks near the cliff side will negate his breath attack and you an just spam ranged attk
@@parkinatorparkinator3274 I did this in NG+3 with an archer build and I can confirm it works. But if you step back too far, you’ll lose his aggro. So it’s important to keep a stack of 999 the cheapest arrows to bombard him with it.
Quick Tip use the horse and hold attack when sword on ground easy kill
I use gravitas for the scarabs because it goes bang in a big circle. Interestingly for ages I didn't realise ashes of war were swoppable lol. In other games a lot of enchantments are permanent but overwritable so I thought you used them once only. Also the fact you can pay for a duplicate pretty much solidified the opinion. Then one day I just decided to change one and realised you get it back lol

I couldn’t beat Melenia or the final boss until I added this to my 25+ katana. After dozens and dozens of failures I had victory almost immediately. I had Rivers of Blood in my other hand but perhaps if I cloned the ash and put it on my other 25+ katana it might have been easier. It does a lot of damage quickly.

I assume this stacks with blood grease, making the Bloodhound Fang have a crazy bleed proc. It's one of the only special weapons that can be greased, and has built in bleed. I think I'll give that a try...

I plan on using this on the great star mace, it has natural blood loss build up and ill add blood loss affinity which doubles the blood loss buildup, then use this ash of war to double it again, should be approx 200 blood loss buildup. I'll also have a stone shield to block damage with no penalty to stamina. That might be a powerful build I'm hoping. Thoughts?
Edit: crap just read the description, it won't work with my mace!

To anyone who has it, if you want to avoid chasing him, use Sacred relic sword. It kills it instantly without the chase

I am using Nagakiba Seppuku as my main weapon and rivers of blood as my off-hand weapon and it is very strong.

If you have frost stomp that will kill it faster, I also used that on the invisible bridge

I am very percise with getting the invisable things i alwase get them first try
I was fighting the dragon in that zone and he was causing chaos killing everything it just dropped for me.
The most annoying dragon imho, one shots me with 45 health

@@kingyogesh441 you think so? I beat him 2nd try? I used rivers of blood as well as the uchigatana. He just moves a lot. Requires a lot of patience.
@@feloniusdude1698 he is the only boss with 2-3 moves that are certain death and very very hard to get out of once you are caught in them you are staggered into oblivion.
Here's a trick i found.
summon a spirit ash and attack a jelly fish, this will make your summon attack anything nearby and will try to attack the dung thing. my mimic tear actually ended up killing it lol
This may be a stupid question but which affinty do you choose for it poison blood or occult, im assuming blood.
Good trick for invisible scarabs use Rogier’s rapier and glintblade phalanx to kill it very easily
I havent played the game in a while. I started a new save and i got the godskin peeler. I remember this used to be the best ash (and probably the most fun) to go on it but when i looked at the wiki the blood build up was lowered by 50 points. Was there some sort of rework to blood build up or was it just a flat nerf? And is it still good?
I held the river of blood on the dx, is it possible to applie this ashes with the uchigatan on the sx? because whit the RT button only the ability of river of blood is activated (I'm newbie to the game)

I might recommend picking up the Horah Loux remembrance Ash of War for the beetles. This kind specifically, is a bit of a pain usually. BUT WHEN YOU JUST STOMP THE WHOLE AREA they usually go down pretty fast.
Also. Godrick’s Axe’s Ash of War probably works too. But I haven’t tried it. Also just. Any AOE Ash of War.

Danm thats look dope. Shesh true seppuku. Thought this wouldnt be added to a game. Just a tweet pro player said "We are samurai not because we always win but because we always get back up" and famous streamer said "Don't want to be that guy but didn't seppuku literally originate with samurai 🤨". Then elden ring have this wich is dope. Thought would not be in game since its self harm but its pretty dope. Also cool gives attack damage and aswell sacrifice blood.
It was in Dark Souls 2 as well.

I’m doing everything stated in the video. I even got on my horse & stood in the pathway doing a strong attack when the footprints appear. I still haven’t been able to kill this invisible bug to get the seppuku ash of war.
try using an attack that has high AoE to make it easier
