If you like incantations, swarm of flies is really good for bloodloss buildup. You can get find it in that same Mogwhyn palace area in the blood swamp. Currently run an arcane build with dragon communion seal. Rotten breath + Swarm of flies + Dragonfire is so much fun. Throw in some faith lightning attacks as well just because

For the white mask you really only need to kill the mob you marked with 5. Spawn at the Palace Approuch Ledge-Road, kill the bird with ranged. Then mount up run down and there will an opening on your leftside to the lake. Circle around the south side of the lake and get to the spot. She's really easy to kill with bloody slash btw.

Quick tip for the white mask. If instead of going on the path you jump on to the rocks and go to the last invasion spot he marked you only have to kill the invader once. I figured this out bc I was trying to cheese the birds and when I got invaded and killed them I got the set
I use a Godskin Peeler twinblade with seppuku on my left hand and a Twinned Knight’s Swords with bloodhounds step in my right, both with blood affinity. Without any outside buffs they each have about 134 blood loss buildup due to me juicing my arcane stat. They absolutely chunk hp bars

I’ve been toying with seppuku in my offhand, bloody slash on my main Uchigatana, and the exultation amulet. I like the distance I can do massive damage at. Hemorrhage still procs, though not as much as if I had seppuku on both blades, but it seems really solid so far.

Bloodflame incantation is also a great bloodloss perk that alot of ppl are sleeping on. requires a few points in arc and int but cheap to cast and helps proc bloodloss really quickly. i run it on bloodhound fang and it just rekz
Important note: If you want to play a bleed style but don't wanna use those specific weapons, all the bleed ashes of war include a Blood affinity, so you can add bloodloss buildup to most swords/daggers. As you upgrade your weapons, they will also have higher bloodloss build-up. I put it on a curved greatsword and did insane amount of damage even though I was mostly building to be tanky shieldbro. Edit: Alternatively, if you wanna try hybrid bleed builds, the greatsword Flamberge can be found in Redmane Castle and will ALWAYS have bleed buildup on it, even if you change the affinity. I'm currently trying to decide to run it with Magic or Frost affinity, dual-wielding with my Dark Moon Greatsword.
I feel like a majority of these weapons will greatly benefit from Millicents Prosthesis, Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Lord of Bloods Exultation, and Shard of Alexander. That's been the best talisman setup I've come across for most bleed weapons. Especially Rivers of Blood.
I unfortunately can't part with Radagon's Soreseal. So, even if i wanted to get the prosthesis in NG+ I wouldn't be able to use it. The main reason is it essentially gives you 20 free levels. Also, at least from my initial research into both items, I couldn't find anything confirming they both stack. Maybe someone has posted something about it more recently, though.
@@jondysayz both soreseals are mere stepping stones imo. The benefits they provide are severely outclassed at 150+. Those 20 free levels hold you back more than they help you. Both Millicent's Prosthesis and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, stack. I can confirm it from hours of testing. They also stack with a cracked tear that provides the same buff. It's safe to say, that for the most part, if the talisman doesn't share a name with another, maybe except in the case of the soreseals, then they can't stack.

@@jondysayz depending on your lvl, you can hit 60 vig easily. 75 dex. 40 -45 arcane. No int or faith, and pump the rest in mind and endurance. That's how I build a dex build at 150.

If you combined this build with the Fire's Deadly Sin and Seppuku (Cast the incantation, then use Seppuku), you get bloodloss AOE, combined with that Talisman, the Mask and the blood weapons... you literally walk through bosses. Now combined that with the Mimic Tear and there's your Easy Mode for Elden Ring lmao
underrated item: the wazikashi. it’s a dagger that can be power stanced with katanas. you can infuse it with the parry ash of water and give it cold which when procs’ increases overall damage. plus, it has inherent bleed too! it’s a great utility weapon for no shield dual wield katana builds
@@omnibread2080 allows for combo chain and dual type damage proc but the buckler is better? Definitely not since blood loss is the point of the dual wield. The parry speed is an obvious trade off for anyone who chooses something besides the buckler, so it’s really a moot point.
That's exactly what I did, with my arcane at 21 and the wakazashi at +24 frost buildup is over 100 and still has around 40 bleed buildup, its super easy to parry with also. But most enemies are taking frost damage from that in 1-2 hits

For anyone wondering, I'm currently running 80 arcane (hard cap) dual seppuku on Uchigatanas with Occult and it hits like a truck plus procs bleed super fast, since occult makes the weapon scaling with ARC. I have to try using the talisman recommended on the video but I 100% recommend stacking ARC and adding occult affinity to a weapon that comes with blood loss (uchigatana, etc)
@@ExoGhost Personally is worth the try you give up on some bleeding build up but you hit harder for the fights where the enemy doesn’t bleed, and I’m still testing but with seppuku the proc difference are like 2-4 shots less between blood and occult affinity. It’s all preference imo, occult gives more like a “balanced” build since basically you don’t need much DEX. You can’t throw more points at Vigor or Resistance or any other attribute you want
No love for the hookclaws? Good native bleed that goes bonkers with bloodflame blade. One cast coats both weapons too. I can get 2 procs in one r1 combo on some bosses. It also retains bleed with affinity change. I switched to an int build and put cold on them and they proc both frost and bleed super fast.
Dual-wielding Morgotts curved blade + bloodhounds fang is also really fun. Just got the talisam, cant belive its gonna be better:) Oh and for fun i have uchigatana w bloodhounds step as a quick switch alternative. For overkill bring mimic summon into the mix and you know the rest;D
Now that's good to know. I also got the Eleonora's poleblade now with that it's unique skill bloodblade dance that does some good fire and physical damage so in other words it's the rivers of blood twin blade edition which I also got the rivers of blood. Now you can't dual wield them both for a faster blood loss effect sadly but their both unique and gorgeous.

I started as a vagabond but I got the uchigatana and I’ve been using ever since I’ve beaten two great rune bosses with it thanks to the high attack power and blood loss that I got from upgrading it to +16 and giving it the bloody slash ash of war
Currently running an Arcane build with Occult Hookclaws, Reduvia Dagger, Occult Bloodstained Dagger and a Dragon Communion Seal with Bloodboon, Swarm of Flies, Bloodflame Talons and Rotten Breath. The versatility is awesome. I feel like the Arcane-focused build for bleed is really nice, since you get access to blood Incants and more than enough bleed buildup (vs going Bleed affinities). I'm level 130 right now. I can lay down my stats if anyone wants to try the build.

Mimic mask actually make a deficiency in physical dmg, despite the +8 arcane for scaling (at least I heard), but if you are mainly using it for the draconic spells then it is worth using
@@judgementlaw7881 probably depends on the weapon, many weapons that scale with arcane are bugged right now and don’t increase damage with scaling. Hopefully it’ll be patched soon
I have found that when dual weilding bleed weapons you can make your right hand weapon poison and left is blood maxed out still does max blood proc and poison also so it can activate both 20% attack up talismans. 1 bleed weapon is all u need 2 doesn't make it better.

Well when i say max bleed i mean my arcane is 99 also, so if your blood weapon can proc after 3 hits ur good to go...put the rot weapon in right hand and blood in left and make sure u got both talismans too
Same here, I havent tested seppuku yet applied to both weapons in hand but the vids I've seen show it dealing bleed 1st and every other hit which is pretty damn good, but makes me wonder if applying that to the 2nd weapon is really making any difference compared to just applying it to a single weapon
I'll admit I used the moonveil katana a lot, but I switched to a regular uchigatana with moonveil in my left hand just so I can coat my sword in bloodflame
For the mask you only have to kill the third mask lady to get the mask don’t go through the trouble of killing all three also kill the bird or he could interfere with the fight as it’s close to the bird
you didn't talk of bloodflame incantation that coat your blade with flame that do bloodloss, enemy touched will be burned for a short time increasing the bloodloss effect, it's on a bettle near the rose church in liurna

Don't forget the bouquet of blood flower's Arres drops after u beat him by activating the blood summon's at the end of The cave before the elevator to mohig. After defeating mohig.
You don't need to kill all 3 invaders to get the white mask. Go from the "farming" site of grace and walk to the ledge, shoot the giant bird across the chasm and he'll run off the cliff. Then move down the path and hug the left side. There's a hard to see cave that runs to the back of the blood lake. You can bypass everything else and go straight for the southernmost invader. He has the mask.
6:28 you don’t need to kill all three. if you kill the one next to the rune farm bird , he’ drop the whole gear. Make sure to kill the bird before going down and wait for him to invade you. The other two don’t drop anything.
God damn it. My first playthrough I went through that whole blood lake and only got invaded by one of the nameless masks, and my 2nd playthrough I went straight to mohg cuz I was just trying to beat the major bosses. Looks like I'm waiting for my 3rd playthrough for the mask lol
godskin twinblade weapon dual wield with sepukku and claw talisman was way stronger back in the day. Bleed build up was 140+ and you prog bleed with every jumping attack. No boss lasted longer than 20 seconds at best xD
Using the blood naginata along with seppuku, white mask and the blood talisman, I got it's AR to over 700 and then I got another one and did the same to it, then dual wielded them. Now I can attack with the range of long ultra greatswords, the attack power of normal greatswords, the speed of dual katanas and proc bleed in 3 hits. The build is extremely broken since you can also put bloody slash on the main hand naginata and also have reduvia on the side for range. I melt bosses like it's nothing. Amazing thing is that you don't even need the bleed itself to do damage, that's just an added bonus.
Well, you completely missed out on one of the best bleed weapons in the game, namely claws! Hookclaws come fairly early in the game and bring blood loss 60!! Upgraded far enough they will also bring an A Dex scaling and since you can powerstance aka dual wield them with only one model needed and their incredibly high attack rate it makes them absolute bleed monsters. I've first tried several bosses with these/mimic/blood coating. The LoB talisman is the cherry on top.
@@PenguinsAreColdish absoltely true. Their short range can be a hindrance. But with nimble playing or vs large enemies they are still extremely deadly.
I use Morgots Cursed Sword with Cursed Blood Slice. I have the white mask, and the tailsman Lord Of Blood. It hits pretty hard, I also have some points into faith 14 is where it’s at rn. I used blood incantations to help boost my blood loss build up. Pretty solid and it’s proving to be a great end game build.
If you already killed mogh like I did the only other way to get the white mask without restarting/ng+. Is to join a friend that hasn’t killed them yet and get them to drop the item for you to pick up.
The white mask is easier than all that. there's a shortcut to the ledge with the giant bird. Cliff dive the bird, take the shortcut and kill just the third invader and presto, mask is yours with only one invader.
so for the white mask you only need to fight and killed the last masked warrior where marker 5 is on his map. When you run down from the farming ledge, just after the group of three kartwheel dudes, there is a shortcut to get to that exact spot if you just follow the first opening on the left. Only one white mask warrior appears and when you kill it it drops the full set of armor.
Before starting new game plus I was thinking “did I miss any hidden bosses or anything” after a bit I decided if I did whatever, as soon as I started it I realized I forgot to get seppuku, and now I want to cry, my first play though was with the guts great sword and I planned on doing a full bleed build for new game plus
I duel wield with blasphemous blade and river of blood. I also use the dragon seal in my left with the blasphemous blade. Swarm of flies is so good too for blood loss. And i use rotten breathe too
Two scavengers curved swords I’d say could be better than Seppuku uchis, as the power stance has plenty of moves that hit 4 times, applying a lot more bleed

DW natty blood loss weps with added affinity for example makn a DW frost blood loss wep, you will get a magic damage buff, blood loss and frostbite. They stack when power stanced.
I think you get the white mask when you invade and defeat the white mask guy. His summon sign is on the floor in the tunnel just before you hit the leaver to fight the lord of blood.
If you cant kill a white mask first shoot the bird from the cliff then once you have aggro fight the white mask near the edge of the cliff fall off just as he lunges towards you then you get the mask even though you just both died.
I've niver tryed that but I've noticed most swords while dual wielding you actually hit a enemy with both weapons at the same time which is nice for a fast bleed build up
I'm running dual scythe and the power stance moveset is just so fun. I have both set to frost affinity so they do both bleed and frost build up and it procs pretty quickly on most enemies with the jumping L1 power stanced. plus I use the hoarfrost stomp ash of war or sword dance.
Because the Moonveil goes against what blood builds are for... It requires you to put points in INT if you want good damage out of it... And a bleed build cannot waste points in a useless stat like INT... You need Arc, a bit of Faith, Vigor Dex and Endurance... A bit of mind too... You see why it cannot add INT to the mix as well?...
If you are dual wielding with bleed you need to get the scavenger's curved sword. You can only get 1 per playthrough but when you apply any bleed ash war to both the build up is insane. Usually blood loss occurs on the second move string while dual wielding. You'll simply melt everything.
Why would you leave out Eleonora's Pole Blade, which does physical, fire and bleed damage, where the blood loss build-up is higher than even the rivers of blood? Yes, it takes longer to acquire than Reduvia, but the capabilities are on different leagues :)

Seppuku is a crazy ash of war, on thrust swords with like 40 arcane it adds 90 blood loss to the weapon which gets bugged when you use the ability

Except that it performs like a katana but had the low damage of a dagger so it’s kinda eh and if you want to parry I’d say the buckler is better
@@omnibread2080 allows for combo chain and dual type damage proc but the buckler is better? Definitely not since blood loss is the point of the dual wield. The parry speed is an obvious trade off for anyone who chooses something besides the buckler, so it’s really a moot point.
That's exactly what I did, with my arcane at 21 and the wakazashi at +24 frost buildup is over 100 and still has around 40 bleed buildup, its super easy to parry with also. But most enemies are taking frost damage from that in 1-2 hits
To get the White Mask, be sure you DON'T kill the boss first!! Otherwise, you won't get any invasions by the unnamed!

For anyone wondering, I'm currently running 80 arcane (hard cap) dual seppuku on Uchigatanas with Occult and it hits like a truck plus procs bleed super fast, since occult makes the weapon scaling with ARC. I have to try using the talisman recommended on the video but I 100% recommend stacking ARC and adding occult affinity to a weapon that comes with blood loss (uchigatana, etc)
Occult has lower blood loss number than blood though. The base weapon is stronger but it triggers blood loss less frequently. Is it worth it?

@@ExoGhost Personally is worth the try you give up on some bleeding build up but you hit harder for the fights where the enemy doesn’t bleed, and I’m still testing but with seppuku the proc difference are like 2-4 shots less between blood and occult affinity. It’s all preference imo, occult gives more like a “balanced” build since basically you don’t need much DEX. You can’t throw more points at Vigor or Resistance or any other attribute you want
How did you put occult affinity on the Uchigatanas? I can only put normal or blood affinity on mine

No love for the hookclaws? Good native bleed that goes bonkers with bloodflame blade. One cast coats both weapons too. I can get 2 procs in one r1 combo on some bosses. It also retains bleed with affinity change. I switched to an int build and put cold on them and they proc both frost and bleed super fast.

Was using the dual bladed Eleanora's Poleblade for my blood loss build but recently switched over to the Bloody Helice/War cry and it's devastating.
Dual-wielding Morgotts curved blade + bloodhounds fang is also really fun. Just got the talisam, cant belive its gonna be better:)
Oh and for fun i have uchigatana w bloodhounds step as a quick switch alternative.
For overkill bring mimic summon into the mix and you know the rest;D

Now that's good to know. I also got the Eleonora's poleblade now with that it's unique skill bloodblade dance that does some good fire and physical damage so in other words it's the rivers of blood twin blade edition which I also got the rivers of blood. Now you can't dual wield them both for a faster blood loss effect sadly but their both unique and gorgeous.

I started as a vagabond but I got the uchigatana and I’ve been using ever since I’ve beaten two great rune bosses with it thanks to the high attack power and blood loss that I got from upgrading it to +16 and giving it the bloody slash ash of war
Currently running an Arcane build with Occult Hookclaws, Reduvia Dagger, Occult Bloodstained Dagger and a Dragon Communion Seal with Bloodboon, Swarm of Flies, Bloodflame Talons and Rotten Breath. The versatility is awesome. I feel like the Arcane-focused build for bleed is really nice, since you get access to blood Incants and more than enough bleed buildup (vs going Bleed affinities). I'm level 130 right now. I can lay down my stats if anyone wants to try the build.

Another good helm if you don’t have the requirements for the blood loss one is the mimic mask it gives +8 arcane.
Mimic mask is nuts.
There is also Marais Mask
Mimic mask actually make a deficiency in physical dmg, despite the +8 arcane for scaling (at least I heard), but if you are mainly using it for the draconic spells then it is worth using
@@judgementlaw7881 probably depends on the weapon, many weapons that scale with arcane are bugged right now and don’t increase damage with scaling. Hopefully it’ll be patched soon
I have found that when dual weilding bleed weapons you can make your right hand weapon poison and left is blood maxed out still does max blood proc and poison also so it can activate both 20% attack up talismans. 1 bleed weapon is all u need 2 doesn't make it better.
Pretty sure whole point of having two blood weapons is to proc bleed faster.

If you think thr second bleed dagger is redundant, I kinda wanna try dual wielding my Scorpion Stinger with the Reduvia instread to proc Scarlet Rot. What do you think? Well when i say max bleed i mean my arcane is 99 also, so if your blood weapon can proc after 3 hits ur good to go...put the rot weapon in right hand and blood in left and make sure u got both talismans too
Same here, I havent tested seppuku yet applied to both weapons in hand but the vids I've seen show it dealing bleed 1st and every other hit which is pretty damn good, but makes me wonder if applying that to the 2nd weapon is really making any difference compared to just applying it to a single weapon

For the mask you only have to kill the third mask lady to get the mask don’t go through the trouble of killing all three also kill the bird or he could interfere with the fight as it’s close to the bird

you didn't talk of bloodflame incantation that coat your blade with flame that do bloodloss, enemy touched will be burned for a short time increasing the bloodloss effect, it's on a bettle near the rose church in liurna
2 of the best late game bleed weapons are rivers of blood and eleonora's pole blade which both have supercool unique skills.
I’m trying to run mohgwyns sacred spear but I already beat mohg so I don’t think I can get the white mask😭 I just have to use the lord of bloods exhultation

Swarm of Flies has been saving my ass in the boss fights and the mini boss fights and it’s super easy to get it really helps!!
You don't need to kill all 3 invaders to get the white mask. Go from the "farming" site of grace and walk to the ledge, shoot the giant bird across the chasm and he'll run off the cliff. Then move down the path and hug the left side. There's a hard to see cave that runs to the back of the blood lake. You can bypass everything else and go straight for the southernmost invader. He has the mask.

I killed the first one at the Front, then i used your tip, but i have to kill both in the back of the Lake. The last one gave me that.

6:28 you don’t need to kill all three. if you kill the one next to the rune farm bird , he’ drop the whole gear. Make sure to kill the bird before going down and wait for him to invade you. The other two don’t drop anything.
also notable that you can cheese nameless mask number 3 by simply leading him to the cliff and jumping off. He will jump after you and die.
I killed him and got nothing...just my luck

God damn it. My first playthrough I went through that whole blood lake and only got invaded by one of the nameless masks, and my 2nd playthrough I went straight to mohg cuz I was just trying to beat the major bosses. Looks like I'm waiting for my 3rd playthrough for the mask lol

godskin twinblade weapon dual wield with sepukku and claw talisman was way stronger back in the day. Bleed build up was 140+ and you prog bleed with every jumping attack. No boss lasted longer than 20 seconds at best xD
Using the blood naginata along with seppuku, white mask and the blood talisman, I got it's AR to over 700 and then I got another one and did the same to it, then dual wielded them. Now I can attack with the range of long ultra greatswords, the attack power of normal greatswords, the speed of dual katanas and proc bleed in 3 hits. The build is extremely broken since you can also put bloody slash on the main hand naginata and also have reduvia on the side for range. I melt bosses like it's nothing. Amazing thing is that you don't even need the bleed itself to do damage, that's just an added bonus.

Well, you completely missed out on one of the best bleed weapons in the game, namely claws! Hookclaws come fairly early in the game and bring blood loss 60!! Upgraded far enough they will also bring an A Dex scaling and since you can powerstance aka dual wield them with only one model needed and their incredibly high attack rate it makes them absolute bleed monsters. I've first tried several bosses with these/mimic/blood coating. The LoB talisman is the cherry on top.
Hookclaws are great and they are wut i used until i discovered the unmatched base power of star fists

@@PenguinsAreColdish absoltely true. Their short range can be a hindrance. But with nimble playing or vs large enemies they are still extremely deadly.

I use Morgots Cursed Sword with Cursed Blood Slice. I have the white mask, and the tailsman Lord Of Blood. It hits pretty hard, I also have some points into faith 14 is where it’s at rn. I used blood incantations to help boost my blood loss build up. Pretty solid and it’s proving to be a great end game build.

If you already killed mogh like I did the only other way to get the white mask without restarting/ng+. Is to join a friend that hasn’t killed them yet and get them to drop the item for you to pick up.
The white mask is easier than all that. there's a shortcut to the ledge with the giant bird. Cliff dive the bird, take the shortcut and kill just the third invader and presto, mask is yours with only one invader.
so for the white mask you only need to fight and killed the last masked warrior where marker 5 is on his map. When you run down from the farming ledge, just after the group of three kartwheel dudes, there is a shortcut to get to that exact spot if you just follow the first opening on the left. Only one white mask warrior appears and when you kill it it drops the full set of armor.

I got the white mask by just fighting the last one that's to the left once you land, just go left and you'll find them quick.
Before starting new game plus I was thinking “did I miss any hidden bosses or anything” after a bit I decided if I did whatever, as soon as I started it I realized I forgot to get seppuku, and now I want to cry, my first play though was with the guts great sword and I planned on doing a full bleed build for new game plus
I'm using the rivers of blood katana...the corpse piler skill with it just ruins bosses in under 20 seconds

I duel wield with blasphemous blade and river of blood. I also use the dragon seal in my left with the blasphemous blade. Swarm of flies is so good too for blood loss. And i use rotten breathe too
Two scavengers curved swords I’d say could be better than Seppuku uchis, as the power stance has plenty of moves that hit 4 times, applying a lot more bleed

DW natty blood loss weps with added affinity for example makn a DW frost blood loss wep, you will get a magic damage buff, blood loss and frostbite. They stack when power stanced.
Heaven is peaceful and painless for eternity. Hell is torture for eternity with no way to get out.

I think you get the white mask when you invade and defeat the white mask guy. His summon sign is on the floor in the tunnel just before you hit the leaver to fight the lord of blood.

If you cant kill a white mask first shoot the bird from the cliff then once you have aggro fight the white mask near the edge of the cliff fall off just as he lunges towards you then you get the mask even though you just both died.

I've niver tryed that but I've noticed most swords while dual wielding you actually hit a enemy with both weapons at the same time which is nice for a fast bleed build up

Eleonora is pretty awesome bleed I use it in Malenia boss fight, I don’t think it’s the best bleed but a lot combos that helps bleed

I'm running dual scythe and the power stance moveset is just so fun. I have both set to frost affinity so they do both bleed and frost build up and it procs pretty quickly on most enemies with the jumping L1 power stanced. plus I use the hoarfrost stomp ash of war or sword dance.

168 bleed greatsword is a Lil fun.idk how it works but I got it.
Dual greatsword with blood affinity is my build. 121 bloodless build up each hit for a 242 each hit when powerstancing.

How is the River of Blood katana not in here?!? Thing is absolutely incredible! Also the Moonveil katana. Dual wielding them is amazing.
Because the Moonveil goes against what blood builds are for... It requires you to put points in INT if you want good damage out of it... And a bleed build cannot waste points in a useless stat like INT... You need Arc, a bit of Faith, Vigor Dex and Endurance... A bit of mind too... You see why it cannot add INT to the mix as well?...
If you are dual wielding with bleed you need to get the scavenger's curved sword. You can only get 1 per playthrough but when you apply any bleed ash war to both the build up is insane. Usually blood loss occurs on the second move string while dual wielding. You'll simply melt everything.

Why would you leave out Eleonora's Pole Blade, which does physical, fire and bleed damage, where the blood loss build-up is higher than even the rivers of blood? Yes, it takes longer to acquire than Reduvia, but the capabilities are on different leagues :)
As much as like bloodloss attack's. I like using Blades like Moonlight Blade.

I use 2 x rapier with blood toll. Attack speed of blood loss weapons is insane, it procs all the time
I wanted to switch to those because of how fast it is compared to the katana
yeah people seem totally forget about double rapier. imo way better and safer than double katana.
