It’s a pretty Greek outlook too considering the heroes in tragedies like the Iliad, hero used to mean like a great warrior not necessarily someone that was all good like some kind of pure hearted anime character

Actually Spartans 3 main equipment was a shield,a spear, and a kopis, a type of ancient sword. A popular spartan strategy was to topple an enemy with their shield
Spartan Mothers where depected as a for lack of a better word, a trainer for the sons and\or daughters . Sure they cared for the babies and such but most spartan women actually knew how to defend themselves. That wasn't always the case though the fathers of spartan kids would be trained for war therefore could've trained them better at an older age (the children when I mean older age).

Im playing the game and this song popped up again, love the song, love the game. Almost 200 hours in now, got the DLCs to get 100% and this is actually one of the first games I'll ever get every achievement, medal, location, etc in. Then I'll go back to black flag, origins and also do Valhalla. I have loved assassin's creed as a kid and only recently have been able to afford the stuff to get around to playing all these games i missed out on. (21 y.o.)
I've come back to this song about what feels like hundreds of times, and I still enjoy it so much. My favourite lines have to be:
