Don’t you find it unusual but there is very little if any Placer gold mixed in.. 99% of the gold I get is as fine as salt shaker salt or pepper sometimes.. when I am scouting for a good spot. I use a magnet to see if there is black sand in a particular pool or under a certain rock before I start digging.. for every penny weight of gold I get, I probably get 6 ounces of magnetite and hematite

Hey bud great video I'm a PA gold hunter also I am at it about 4 days a week have you ever got close to a gram in 1 day in PA just wondering I hit 1 gram plus 3 times but they were 12 hour days on good ground just want to know if people get a gram in a day in PA
I haven’t done it in a single day, but it certainly can be done with a long day on a good streak or some proper equipment lol shovels and pans take a while. But I don’t doubt you for a second you logged in 12 hours and pulled a gram. What part of the state ?
i was in a tributary off peters creek you know anywhere near Philly that has prospecting potential i live in NJ and would love a close spot to hit quickly sometimes just far and few between have you ever found gold near philly
