- I like to dig around bridges and former bridge locations. These man made structures cause water to concentrate and slow down. Dirt is also brought in after construction to help secure the foundations. This loose sediment helps move gold around these areas

Great videos man. Just stumbled across your channel and thought I recognized the name. Went to school with your brother. Small world, keep up with the awesome content.
I'm oing to Tunkhannock Creek in Wyoming County PA on 4/29. Going to metal detect+ crevice out & pan a few bedrock spots. I'll keep you posted if I find anything.
Do you know.....Is it legal to dredge in PA? Something like a small Goldibox?
Wondering if you would be interested in a trade of sorts. My 10-year-old son and I are looking forward to starting prospecting. Would you consider trading our work for your experience? We would be interested in joining you some time on a prospect helping out and catching a lot more material for you in trade to see how it is done; three can carry a lot more buckets than one. You keep the gold, and we get the experience. Please let me know if you are interested in something like this, thank you again for making these videos, they are fantastic.
Thank you buddy enjoy your videos. I’m Near northeast Pennsylvania. …any areas you might recommend any Creeks I might try ….thank you.
This might be a weird question: Which of the areas you frequent is good for camping? Preferably for backcountry camping.
I think I recognize that stretch of road. Western pa.
Greart job, im new to prospecting so i will be watching
Nice pan !!!
Thanks!
That's why it's prospecting not every pan is gold heavy , nice job
Ever prospect around west branch of little beaver creek? Enon Valley area?
Test where the really large boulders are on the other side of the downward current. Bridge creates a choke point high pressure. Creek flattens out like a sluice box downstream. Low pressure.
Really nice find for your test.
I want too, it’s just there’s sooo much overburden
PA waterways...lol
What permits do you need for gold prospecting
No permits needed, but permission is needed for private properties. You just need to look up prospecting regulations for your state because certain areas aren't allowed, like gamelands. I think the state/national forests are okay unless access has been barred, in which case a signnwill be posted.
What part of Pennsylvania are you in?
Western border
I really wanna get out and play near loyalsock and worlds end state park area.
Try Ladds Creek near Dushore.
@@lizarrrdbeth thanks! I have friends with property not far from there. I could ask some residents if they don't mind me passing through some promising sections. There are some neat places in the Shunk area as well
Edward's run??

Thanks Jess 👍 Happy new year to you and yours
