    "MJ made you look slow.
    Bird made you look stupid."
    -James Worthy
From 84-88 300+ straight games Bird averaged a 50/40/90 with just over 28 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists per game.
Aint nobody matching that line and even the few that match some of it, it's not even for half as many games.
Lebron obviously has longevity over Bird and is a better one on one defender but Bird was a much better shooter, a better passer, a more consistent rebounder and one of the best and smartest system/zone defenders.

Larry had bronchial pneumonia that game with Dominique. That's why he had a slow first half. He also had bone spurs in both feet and his Achilles bothering him.oh and that airball was done on purpose to prove a point lol.

WOW, Spike Lee Has His Nerve Saying Someone Is Ugly, ha ha ha. Also The Part Where Bird Said I Hope Your Ant Watching. That Wasn't Putting Down The Mans Mother; He Was Putting Down The Player Because He Was Embarrassing Him. People Need To Stop Taking A Joking Remark & Trying To Twist It Into Something That It Isn't. Yes Bird Was A Trash Talker BUT He Never Got Vogler With It OR Beating His Chest In A Vogler Way.

Bird is combo of best parts Luca & Joker’s game. That’s y he is Larry Legend.
Trust us when we say LB wasn’t upset or hurt by Spike Lee. Just look at the Rodman/ Isiah Thomas situation. Larry understood that racial tensions are national issue but on individual level he never took offense. Of course he’d cook you on the court if he had a chance.
Please react to the Logo Jerry West. Love his quote ‘people talk about players who have a dog in them. Well I have a wolf inside me that eats dogs!’
Damn those old school players knew how to say it.

Bird took a team that won 29 games the year prior and led that same team to 61 wins in his rookie year, which is the biggest turnaround in NBA history, maybe in all of sports. And he did it with no Dennis Johnson, no Robert Parish, no Kevin McHale, no Danny Ainge.

You are right sir. Every superstar needs good teammates. That is one of my main reasons for disliking the addition of lebron into the goat debate. Sure he carried his teams to the finals nearly single handed for almost a decade, but it still took him teaming with bosh and wade to win the big one. It's not just about setting yourself up as the best player on your team, because you also gotta have great teammates(like bird and magic did) or push your teammates to greatness like mj did.

That is the difference between an all time great and a legend. Legends want the smoke, they want the ball in their hands with the game on the line. MJ himself has said he would take Larry over Lebron all day. Why? MJ recognizes what Larry is...All these stories from the greatest players to ever do it...Larry is the last back to back to back MVP in a league with the Dream Team in it. Larry was the best player in the league for a decade receiving 67% of the MVP votes during that time.

I played in Europe for 12 years we dont do flashy.. If you try to look good doing something your increasing the chance of failure, Trainers HATEED it.. Also in general we look down on bragging or showing off in general,, its culture 90% of millionaires where I live you would not be able to see it they dress and look just like everybody else.. In short we see it as RUDE to show off totally different culture than what you do in the US ..

Larry Bird IS basketball. After losing to Magic in ncaa. He took it out on the whole NBA. Put his first 8 seasons against any player of any era. He's likely going to thrash or wear out. Whomever you pick.
