The sea shell on the dash is a traffic light viewer , a necessity , since this truck has the sun visor . There are no wheelwells in that bed , because GM used the stepside bed , with fiberglass outer skins to mimic the fleetside beds to come . The center section of the rear bumper hinges downward to allow access to the spare tire , without having to get under the truck .
This is the most effective and beautiful truck ever made by GM. The only thing I am missing on this one are the left and right indicator lights installed on the front fenders originally. Otherwise it is perfect. I love the interior with the original steering wheel❤
@@donmcdonald7301 the lights on top of the front fenders were never original equipment items , you bought those at the parts store in town . The turn signal indicators are attached to the ends of the grill bar , and have clear lenses .
