Stephanie, you don't have to feel bad for me, because I grew up in a '77 Mark V Cartier...the Dove Grey colored Designer Series that year. Dad bought it new in April 1977, and I was born in July 1978. Mom said I went home from the hospital as a newborn like a king. I've had its twin of that car since 2006, down to all the same options. That is an 8 track stereo tape player you saw here, not cassette. This car doesn't have the option, but there was an upgraded system that was available for more money that had the "Quadrasonic" tape player, which played both typically found stereo tapes, as well as the special quadraphonic surround sound 8 tracks.
